Vaporesso XROS Series

Yes, mainly because of the pods. One pod family fits every XROS, apart from the 0.4 ohm, which does not fit the Mini Retro or the XROS 3 and older. The sealed COREX mesh pods carry flavour well on nic salt. The usual complaints are pod life on very sweet e-liquid and battery on the smallest kits.

The XROS 6 and XROS 6 Mini are the most recent, announced by Vaporesso in May 2026, and no XROS 7 has been announced. The XROS 6 is the full-size kit with a colour screen and a button, and the XROS 6 Mini is the buttonless version with no screen.

Battery and airflow. The XROS 6 goes to 1800mAh against 1500mAh on the XROS 5, and adds VENTURI airflow and a 60 second pod priming countdown. Both go to 30W, both have a colour screen and both take the same pods. Our XROS 6 vs XROS 5 comparison lays out every difference.

An XROS Mini. There is no screen and no button, so you fill the pod, click it in and draw. If you want a screen and power modes from the start, a full-size XROS takes the same pods, so you can switch later without wasting spares.

Mostly, and the pod decides. A 1.0 or 1.2 ohm pod gives a tight, cigarette-like mouth to lung draw, and 0.8 ohm suits mouth to lung or a restricted lung draw. A 0.6 ohm pod loosens it further, and 0.4 ohm is restricted direct to lung. An airflow slider tightens or opens it on the same pod.

Almost. Every XROS kit uses the same magnetic pod seat, so a COREX 2.0 or COREX 3.0 pod fits any XROS kit, including the older ones. The exception is the 0.4 ohm, which fits the XROS 4 and newer but not the XROS Mini Retro or the XROS 3 and older kits. The older kits cap at 16W to 18W, so 0.6 ohm and above suit them best. XROS pods do not fit Luxe, Armour, ECO Nano or Vibe kits.

XL is the 3ml version of the XROS pod, sold outside the UK. A nicotine pod cannot be sold here above 2ml, so every XROS pod on this page is the 2ml COREX pod, in 0.4 to 1.2 ohm. It fits every XROS kit, apart from the 0.4 ohm, which does not fit the Mini Retro or the XROS 3 and older.

No. Every XROS kit takes a refillable 2ml pod that you fill yourself from a 10ml bottle. Vaporesso's prefilled pods are the Dojo Blast range, which fit the Dojo Blast kits only and do not click onto an XROS.

Take the pod out, snap off the mouthpiece and fill through the hole below the top rather than to the brim, then push the mouthpiece back on firmly. On a new pod, wait 5 minutes before the first puff, or 1 minute on kits with Smart Prime. Click the pod in and draw, or press the button on kits that have one. Usually the pod is not making contact or the kit is switched off or flat. Charge it, take the pod out, dry the contacts on the pod and in the kit, and push it back in firmly. Usually overfilling, a mouthpiece that is not pushed fully home, or a new pod vaped before it has soaked. Fill below the top, close it firmly, dry the contacts and give a new pod 5 minutes.
