Pod Vape Kits for Every Type of Vaper
What you're switching from and how you like to vape should steer which pod kit you pick. Coming off disposables or cigarettes? A draw-activated pod vape kit with nic salt e-liquid at 10mg or 20mg gets the closest match to that throat hit. Vapers chasing bigger clouds and more flavour tend to go for pod mods with lower resistance coils and open airflow.
Refillable pod kits give you the run of thousands of e-liquids since you fill them yourself. Prefilled pod vape kits skip all that and come loaded, just click a new pod in when it's done. We've got both in this collection.
Refillable Pod Kits
Fill your pod with whatever e-liquid you fancy. When the coil's had it, you either swap the whole pod or just pull the coil out and drop a fresh one in. The OXVA Xlim and Vaporesso XROS both use replaceable coils inside a long-lasting pod, so you're not binning the whole thing every time.
You can run nic salts one week, bar salts the next, whatever you're in the mood for. £10 to £30 gets you the kit, then it's just coils and e-liquid from there.
Prefilled Pod Kits
Sealed pods already loaded with e-liquid. When it runs out, pull the pod, click a new one in, done. No bottles, no coil swapping. Elf Bar, Lost Mary and SKE Crystal all do prefilled pod kits now with the same flavours their disposables used to have.
Easiest switch from disposables going. Our prefilled pod kits collection has every major brand covered.
Best Vape Pod by Vaping Style
Not every vape pod kit suits every vaper. Here's how to match one to how you actually vape.
Ex-disposable users: Draw-activated pod kits with tight MTL airflow hit closest to a disposable. OXVA Xlim and Vaporesso XROS are the two we sell the most of for this. Pair them with nic salt e-liquid at 10mg or 20mg for the right throat hit.
Beginners: Starter vape kits with auto-draw and nothing to fiddle with. Uwell Caliburn and OXVA Xlim Go 2 are both solid picks if you're new to vaping. We include a free nic salt with every pod kit to get you going straight away. Ecigone’s how to choose a pod vape kit guide walks through the full decision step by step.
MTL vapers: Tight airflow and higher resistance coils above 1.0 ohm. Pod kits default to MTL as standard, but adjustable airflow is worth looking for if you like tweaking the draw. OXVA's Xlim has an airflow dial that goes from very tight to slightly open. Our MTL vs DTL vs RDL guide covers the differences in full.
Cloud and flavour chasers: RDL coils between 0.4 and 0.6 ohm with more open airflow. Voopoo Argus and Geekvape Aegis Boost both handle higher VG liquids and kick out noticeably more vapour. Not full sub-ohm, but a proper step up.
Discreet vapers: Something like the Vaporesso XROS Mini or Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro Koko fits in your palm. Very little visible vapour on an MTL draw, so you can vape without anyone really noticing.
Refillable Pod Vapes vs Prefilled Pod Kits
Same end result, two different ways of getting there. Which one works better comes down to what you care about most.

Going refillable costs less long-term because you're buying e-liquid by the bottle rather than swapping whole pods. A 50/50 e-liquid or nic salt at 10mg to 20mg is all you need to keep going.
Prefilled wins on pure convenience though. Nothing to fill, no coils to think about. Pull out the old pod, click in a new one, vaping again in seconds. Fewer flavour options, and it costs a bit more over time since the pod and coil get swapped together.
Our switching from disposables to pod kits guide breaks down the full comparison if you're still weighing it up.
Pod Mods and Higher Wattage Pod Kits
If you've outgrown a basic pod kit but don't want a full box mod setup, pod mods sit right in the middle. Same compact size, but with adjustable wattage, a screen, and coil options that let you flip between MTL and RDL on the same kit.
OXVA's Xlim Pro 3 adds a display and wattage control while staying pocket-sized. Voopoo's Argus P3 and Geekvape's Sonder Q2 push harder and handle both nic salts and regular e-liquids. Anyone who's been vaping on a basic pod kit and wants more flexibility will get on well with a pod mod. Our pod mods vs box mods guide has the full comparison.
What to Look for in a Pod Vape Kit
Pod vape batteries range from about 400mAh up to 1,800mAh. If you're vaping all day, aim for 1,200mAh minimum or you'll be charging by lunchtime. USB-C is standard across the board and most kits go from flat to full in under an hour.
Coil resistance matters more than people think. Above 1.0 ohm gives you a tighter MTL draw that works well with nic salts. Go lower, 0.4 or 0.8 ohm, and the airflow opens right up for more vapour and stronger flavour off higher VG e-liquids. A lot of pod kits now come with both coil types in the box.
Adjustable airflow is worth looking for. You can dial the draw from really tight to slightly open, and it makes a bigger difference than you'd expect. Fixed airflow kits are simpler but you're stuck with whatever the manufacturer set it at.
TPD rules cap every pod at 2ml. That'll last anywhere from half a day to a full day depending on how you vape. Clear pods are handy so you can see when you're getting low.
You don't need to spend a fortune either. Some of the best pod kits we sell sit around £15 to £25, and the coil and pod do most of the heavy lifting anyway.
