1500mAh Battery and 3A USB-C Super-Charging

The XROS 5 carries a 1500mAh internal battery, roughly a 50% increase on the XROS 4. Most MTL vapers should see a full day of vaping from a single charge, with light use approximately stretching that further across two days or more.

USB-C 3A super-charging brings the battery from flat to full in under 40 minutes. Together with an 80% top-up reached noticeably faster than the older 2A standard.

0.88-inch HD Colour Display with Multiple Themes

The 0.88-inch HD screen cycles through wattage, battery percentage, pod resistance and a live puff counter, with multiple colour themes to swap between. The XROS 5 also remembers the last wattage setting for each pod resistance. The result is that swapping between the 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm pods does not mean resetting the kit every time.

5-30W Adjustable Wattage with Three Power Modes

The XROS 5 covers a full 5W to 30W adjustable wattage range through three dedicated power modes, accessed through the fire button. This is the spec that separates the flagship XROS 5 from the smaller Mini and Nano models, which run more limited adjustment.

Smart mode is the easiest pick if you swap between pod resistances often, since the XROS 5 sets the wattage on its own.

Hive Mesh Refill Pods Included

Two COREX 3.0 pods come with the XROS 5 - a 0.6 ohm for restricted direct-lung and a 0.8 ohm for tighter MTL. The Hive Mesh holds flavour longer than the older COREX 2.0 coils.

Pod shell, magnetic connector and cradle are universal across the XROS family - the difference between the two generations is the coil technology inside the pod, not pod fit. COREX 3.0 reads approximately 40% richer in flavour with longer coil life, while COREX 2.0 sits a touch warmer with a wider resistance ladder running from 0.4 ohm right up to 1.2 ohm.

Adjustable Airflow MTL to RDL

An airflow slider sits on the side of the chassis, taking the XROS 5 from tight MTL all the way to a looser RDL draw. Close it right down for a cigarette-style pull on 20mg nic salts, open it up for more vapour on 50/50 freebase or shortfill e-liquid.

How to Use the Vaporesso XROS 5

Getting started with the XROS 5 takes a few minutes from box to first puff.

1. Charge the kit fully via USB-C before first use - approximately 35-40 minutes from flat.
2. Pull the pre-installed 0.6 ohm COREX 3.0 pod out of the chassis. Lift the silicone fill plug on the side and fill with up to 2ml of e-liquid.
3. Replace the plug, slot the pod back into the chassis - the magnetic connector clicks it into place. And stand the kit upright for 5 minutes to let the coil prime.
4. Adjust the airflow slider on the side of the chassis for a tighter MTL or looser RDL draw.
5. Tap the fire button to wake the screen, set wattage between 5W and 30W or pick Smart mode to let the kit set itself. Then inhale on the mouthpiece - auto-draw and manual fire both work.
