Vaporesso XROS 6 Pod Vape Kit

The XROS 6 is the full-size kit in the current XROS line. An 1800mAh battery, 30W, VENTURI airflow, a 0.88 inch colour screen and a fire button, with COREX 3.0 pods in the box.

It is the one to pick if you want to see what the device is doing. The screen reads battery percentage, wattage, coil resistance and puff count, and you can fire it with the button or just inhale.

It comes in eighteen colours, and the vape kit takes every XROS pod from 0.4 ohm through to 1.2 ohm, so pods bought for an older XROS still fit. The rest of the Vaporesso range is listed separately.

VENTURI Airflow

VENTURI is Vaporesso's airflow design and the XROS 6 was the kit they introduced it on. The channel narrows and then widens through the chamber, which pulls the vapour across the coil more evenly than a straight open pull does.

The adjustment is a toggle on the side of the battery rather than a ring, and it moves from a tight cigarette-style draw through to a looser one.

60s Smart Prime

Smart Prime is the minute a fresh pod needs before the first draw, and Vaporesso build it into the XROS 6 vape rather than leaving it to you. The most common complaint about any pod kit is a new pod tasting burnt, and that is almost always caused by somebody vaping it before the wick has taken the e-liquid up. Smart Prime helps you avoid this.

One note from their manual: it needs an ambient temperature of at least 5C to work, so a pod fitted in a cold car takes longer.

The 0.88 Inch Screen

The screen is a 0.88 inch TFT and it is not a touchscreen. Everything is driven from the single button below it: clicks cycle the menu, and the display shows battery percentage, the wattage or mode, the coil resistance and the puff count.

The fire button can be turned off in the settings if you would rather draw on it, and the screen can be locked so nothing changes in a pocket.

XROS 6 Battery Life and Charging

Ten minutes on charge gets it to about half full. That is Vaporesso's own figure and it is what the 3A charging is there for: enough to cover you if the battery is flat and you are about to head out.

A full charge took around 45 minutes in our own testing. Vaporesso publish no figure for that themselves.

How long 1800mAh lasts between charges comes down to how you vape rather than to the kit. A 0.4 ohm pod at 30W empties it far quicker than a 0.8 ohm pod in Eco, and somebody on twenty puffs a day will get a different answer from somebody on two hundred. Vaporesso rate it at up to five days for an average mouth to lung vaper, and their own launch announcement for the kit says four.

Power, Normal and Eco Modes on the XROS 6

Which of the two control methods you get depends on the pod you have fitted, and it is the thing most people get wrong about this kit.

• With the 0.4 ohm pod: you set the wattage directly, in 0.5W steps up to 30W.
• With any other pod: you pick a mode instead of a wattage. Power for the warmest draw, Normal for everyday, Eco to make the charge go further.

There is also a shortcut Vaporesso call Quick Draw. Two draws in quick succession change the setting without opening the menu: on the 0.4 ohm pod that steps the wattage through 15W, 25W and 30W, and on any other pod it moves between Power, Normal and Eco.

It can be turned off in the settings if you trigger it by accident, and the same menu clears the puff counter.

Which Pods Fit the Vaporesso XROS 6

All of them. Vaporesso list the XROS 6 as taking the whole XROS pod range, and both pod generations use the same fitting, so pods from an older XROS drop straight in.

The UK XROS 6 pod vape kit ships with the 0.6 ohm fitted and an 0.8 ohm spare in the box. Both are COREX 3.0 pods, and replacements come four to a pack.

If you are looking for the pink XROS 6, it is the one called Dreamy Pink, a soft matte finish rather than a bright one. The Chrono, Flow and Racing finishes sit alongside the original colours.

The pods and the coil platform are the same across all three. What separates them is the screen, the battery and how much control you want.

Take the XROS 6 Mini if you want the smaller and simpler one and have no interest in a screen. It has no button at all, and no cable in the box.

If it is a bigger battery and more power you are after, the XROS Pro 2 is the flagship of the range.

And if it is the touchscreen you want rather than a button and a small display, that is the XROS 5 Nano, which is a different shape entirely.

XROS 6 Release Date and UK Availability

It is out. Vaporesso announced the XROS 6 in May 2026 alongside the XROS 6 Mini, and both are out in the UK 2ml version.

The Chrono, Flow and Racing finishes came later than the original eleven, so some listings elsewhere still show the shorter colour list.

Fitting a Pod and the First Draw

A fresh pod needs a minute before the first draw, and the XROS 6 builds that in as 60s Smart Prime. Four steps:

1. Snap off the mouthpiece, squeeze the e-liquid in through the filling hole, then put the mouthpiece back and make sure it is shut firmly.
2. Push the pod into the kit.
3. Leave it a minute. This is the Smart Prime window, and it is what stops a new pod tasting burnt.
4. Draw on it, or hold the button. Either fires it.

Set the airflow with the toggle on the side: closed for a tight cigarette-style draw on nic salt, open for a looser one.
