OXVA Xlim Series History
OXVA launched the first Xlim vape in 2021. The original model set the template with refillable pods, draw activation, and MTL vaping. Since then OXVA has released multiple versions with each one improving on the last.
The biggest leap came with V3 pods in 2024. Top-fill design solved the mess of bottom-fill pods. Leak resistance improved. Airflow channels got wider. Pod lifespan jumped from a few days to 1-2 weeks for most vapers.
The current 2025 lineup includes entry-level models with simple draw activation, mid-range models with screens and wattage control, feature-rich models with touch screens, and advanced models with DNA chipsets. Every model uses the same V3 pods so you're not locked into one device forever.

Xlim Vape Pods Explained
V3 pods are what make the Xlim series work. Every Xlim vape uses the same pods whether you buy entry-level or advanced models. That's rare in vaping where most brands lock you into specific pod types per device.
V3 pods come in 2ml for UK TPD compliance and 3ml for international markets. The top-fill plug sits at the side. You flip it open, fill through the port, close it, done. No pod removal, no bottom bungs, no drips on the table.

The 0.8Ω pod is the most popular across the range. Good flavour, decent clouds, and the coil lasts 1-2 weeks for most vapers. If you're switching from smoking, the 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω gives you the tight draw you're used to.
Top-fill works identically on 2ml and 3ml pods. The rubber plug flips open at the side of the pod. You don't remove the pod from the device. The fill port takes standard 10ml bottle nozzles. Once filled, close the plug and you're ready to vape. No mess, no removing the pod, no fiddling with bottom bungs.

Which E-Liquid for Xlim Vapes?
Xlim vapes work best with 50/50 nic salts. The Unitech coils in V3 pods handle thicker liquids but balanced VG/PG wicks fastest and gives cleanest flavour. You're looking at 10mg or 20mg nicotine strength for MTL vaping.
50/50 shortfills work too if you prefer freebase nicotine. Keep strength at 3mg or 6mg. Higher PG ratios like 40/60 are fine but you'll get more throat hit. Avoid high VG liquids above 70/30 as they don't wick well in MTL coils.
OX Passion nic salts pair well with Xlim vapes. OXVA designed them specifically for the Unitech coil system. Any 50/50 nic salt works but OX Passion flavours are tuned to the resistance range.

Compatibility & Costs
Every OXVA Xlim vape uses the same V3 pods. All models take identical pods. One pod type fits all.
This keeps running costs simple. You buy a pack of 0.8Ω pods and they work in whichever Xlim you own. No hunting for model-specific pods. No worrying if OXVA discontinues your device because the pods fit the newer models too.

V3 pods last 1-2 weeks depending on how much you vape and which e-liquid you use. One 10ml nic salt bottle lasts 3-5 days for most vapers. That works out cheaper than disposables or prefilled pods long-term.
Xlim Battery Life & Charging
All Xlim vapes use built-in batteries with USB-C charging. Entry-level models have no screen so you rely on LED colours to check battery. Mid-range and feature-rich models show exact battery percentage on their screens. Advanced models track battery stats through software if you connect to a PC.
All Xlim vapes charge via USB-C. Takes 45-60 minutes from flat to full. You can vape while charging on most models. LED indicators show battery level with colours changing as you drain the battery.
Why Choose OXVA Xlim Vapes?
V3 pods solved every complaint users had with earlier refillable systems. Top-fill design, leak resistance, and longer coil life. The 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω resistance range covers MTL to RDL without needing different pod systems.
One pod type across the entire range. Start with entry-level and upgrade to advanced models later without changing your pod routine. That's not common in vaping where most brands push you into model-specific pods.
The Xlim range covers entry-level to advanced with the same pod quality across the price range. The difference is in features like screens, chips, and batteries. The vaping experience stays consistent.
Xlim has been running since 2021. Millions of users worldwide. OXVA keeps developing the platform with new models, new pod resistances, and backwards compatibility with older devices. It's not a one-off range that gets abandoned after 6 months.
