Vaporesso Armour Series: Every Kit Compared
The Vaporesso Armour series kicked off with the Max back in 2023 and there are now five kits in the lineup. They've all got reinforced builds and the AXON chipset inside, but they're aimed at pretty different vapers.

The Vaporesso Armour Ultra vape kit is the newest in the Armour range. The Vaporesso Armour Ultra kit runs off a big 5500mAh internal battery so there's nothing to swap out or charge separately. The uni-lock connection means the iTank T clicks on and off with one hand, no threading needed. You're getting 220W, a TFT colour display and every AXON chip mode. The Vaporesso Armour Ultra UK stock at Ecigone includes all colourways.
The Vaporesso Armour Max kit takes two 21700 batteries so it'll outlast anything else in the Armour range on a single charge. 220W with the iTank 2 on top gives you the full sub-ohm experience. The 0.96 inch TFT screen is easy to read even outside and you've got temp control for SS, Ni and Ti wire built in.
The Vaporesso Armour S kit is the same iTank 2 and GTi coils but in a single battery format. It runs on a 21700 or you can drop in an 18650 with the included adapter. 100W is plenty for any GTi coil and the whole thing fits in a coat pocket unlike the Max.

Armour G and GS Pod Kits
The Vaporesso Armour G pod vape kit and Vaporesso Armour GS pod vape kit are the compact options in the Armour lineup. Both run at 80W with GTX coils and adjustable airflow for MTL or RDL vaping.
The main difference between the Armour G and GS comes down to the battery. The G has a built in 3000mAh cell that you charge via USB-C. The GS takes a single 18650 that you can pull out and swap for a fresh one. If you're out all day and don't want to find a charger, carrying a spare 18650 for the GS is handy. If you'd rather just plug in at night and not think about it, the G is the easier option.
Both come with 2ml Pods with magnetic connection and side fill ports with the option of 5ml G Pods. The Vaporesso Armour G vape kit and GS both have zinc alloy bodies that feel solid and take a knock without cracking.
GTi Coils and GTX Coils for Armour Kits
The Armour range uses two separate coil families depending on which kit you've got.
GTi coils fit the Armour Ultra, Armour Max and Armour S via the iTank 2. These are the newer coil type with longer life and bigger wicking ports than previous generations.

GTX coils fit the Armour G and Armour GS pods. These are the same Vaporesso GTX coils used across the Luxe and XROS ranges, so you can use them on multiple Vaporesso kits.

If you've previously used a Vaporesso Armour Pro, those older GTX coils won't fit the current GTi tanks. The Armour Pro used a different tank to the iTank 2 on the current range.
