OXVA Refillable Pod Cartridge Range
OXVA pods are refillable cartridges that fit the brand's full pod kit range. You fill each cartridge with bottled e-liquid and vape the pod over a week or so of refills. When the flavour starts to fade, you swap it for a fresh one.
OXVA Tech is the pod-focused brand set up in 2018 by Justin Lai, the same engineer who co-founded GeekVape. Every refillable OXVA pod comes from OXVA Tech's tight remit: refillable pod kits and the matched cartridges that fire them, sold across more than sixty countries. The brand took Best Pod at the 2024 Ecigclick Awards and Best Vape Brand at the 2025 MIST Awards.

UniTech 2.0 Mesh Coil Platform
Every refillable OXVA pod fires a UniTech 2.0 mesh coil built into the cartridge body. There are no separate coil heads to fit. When the coil wears out after roughly two to three weeks of refilling, you swap the entire pod.
UniTech 2.0 heats more evenly across the mesh surface than the previous generation. The result is steadier flavour from first refill to last, with less of the muted top-of-pod sweetness that creeps in on older mesh designs. Higher-power pods in the range fit a dual-mesh layer for a stronger flavour hit per draw.
Resistance options across the OXVA pod family cover MTL through to sub-ohm DTL:

1.2 ohm - Tight MTL draw at 10W to 14W, best with 20mg nic salts for a cigarette-style pull

0.8 ohm - All-rounder MTL at 12W to 18W, fits 10mg or 20mg nic salts, slightly warmer vapour

Switching from a prefilled kit, most vapers land on the 0.8 ohm cartridge at 20mg nic salt for a tight MTL draw that feels familiar.
Pod Pack Size and Capacity
OXVA pod pack size depends on the family. Xlim V3, Xlim SS, Xlim EZ and NeXlim all come three cartridges per pack. VPrime, the legacy Origin and the Vativ empty pods come two per pack. Origin X ships as a single cartridge.
Every cartridge holds 2ml of e-liquid for UK TPD compliance. International 3ml XL versions exist in some Xlim and NeXlim families for overseas markets, but every OXVA pod sold in the UK is the 2ml format. The coil tech, fit and flavour stay identical.

Cross-Kit Compatibility
OXVA pod families cross-fit within their own line rather than across the whole range. The shape of the pod-well and the contact-pin layout differ family to family, so buying the wrong cartridge for your kit ends in a non-fit.
Xlim V3 is the broadest fit, sliding into every current Xlim kit from Go 2 up to Pro 3 and SQ Pro 2. The exception is the Xlim Pro 2 DNA, which uses the Xlim SS stainless-steel pod so the Evolv DNA chipset can drive temperature control. Xlim EZ also fits across most Xlim kits including the Pro 2 DNA, though without the SS temperature-control feature.
NeXlim cartridges fit the NeXlim and NeXlim Go alone. VPrime pods fit the VPrime kit, the higher-power sub-ohm option in the range. The legacy Origin, Origin X and Vativ pods stay paired to their original kits.
OXVA Pod Lifespan and When to Swap
An OXVA pod cartridge typically lasts around twenty refills before the coil fades. That works out at roughly two to three weeks for an average vaper.
Sweeter recipes and high-VG juice shorten that window. Lower-strength nic salts at sub-2% nicotine usually stretch it longer.
Three signs the cartridge is done:
- Flavour drops off on the draw and vapour thins even on a fresh battery
- A slight burnt edge creeps in on the inhale
- The wick darkens through the cartridge wall
When any of those hit, fit a fresh pod.
E-Liquid Pairing for OXVA Pods
Refillable OXVA pods work best with 50/50 nic salts or thinner 70/30 e-liquids. Heavy high-VG shortfills can struggle to wick through the smaller cartridge coils, leading to dry hits and a scorched edge on the inhale.
