OXVA Pods

OXVA pods are the refillable replacement cartridges for OXVA's Xlim, NeXlim and VPrime pod kits. Each one has its mesh coil sealed inside, so when the flavour fades you swap the whole OXVA cartridge rather than a coil.

OXVA Pod and Cartridge Compatibility

Every OXVA pod fits only its own kit family: Xlim cartridges fit Xlim kits, NeXlim pods fit NeXlim kits and VPrime pods fit VPrime kits. The table lists each pod with the kits OXVA make it for.

The VPrime pods are the sub-ohm option, with the 0.2 ohm pod built for full DTL.

OXVA Xlim Cartridge

The OXVA Xlim V3 cartridge fits every Xlim kit, including the Xlim 4, Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, Xlim SQ Pro 2, Xlim Go 2, Xlim Go Lite and Xlim Pro 2 DNA. It is OXVA's upgrade on the older Xlim V2 pod, so a spare Xlim V3 pod is the one to buy in place of V2 pods.

The OXVA Xlim 4 ships with OXVA's UniTech 3.0 top fill cartridge, and OXVA list it as compatible with the standard Xlim top fill cartridge, so V3 pods work as spares.

The Xlim EZ cartridge fits most Xlim kits, from the Xlim Go and older Xlim kits to the Xlim Pro 3 and Xlim Pro 2 DNA. OXVA say the 0.4 ohm EZ pod does not fit the Xlim SE, Xlim SQ or the original Xlim Pod.

The Xlim SS pod has a stainless steel coil made for the Evolv DNA chip in the Xlim Pro 2 DNA. OXVA state it will not work in the standard Xlim Pro 2 or other Xlim kits. The Xlim Pro 2 DNA also takes V3 and EZ cartridges.

OXVA NeXlim Pods

OXVA NeXlim pods fit the NeXlim, NeXlim Go, NeXlim 2 and NeXlim 2 Mini, in 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 ohm. Both the original UniTech 2.0 cartridge and the UniTech 3.0 cartridge from the NeXlim 2 fit all four kits, and both are on our OXVA NeXlim pods page.

OXVA Pod Resistance: 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.2 Ohm

Choose a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm OXVA pod for a tight mouth to lung draw with nic salts, or a 0.4 or 0.6 ohm pod for a looser, warmer draw with more vapour. These are OXVA's own wattage ranges for the Xlim cartridges.

The 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods pair well with OXVA's own OX Passion vape juice, which comes as nic salt.

How to Refill an OXVA Pod

To refill an OXVA Xlim EZ pod, pull off the mouthpiece, fill through the red top port and click the mouthpiece back on.

Pull the mouthpiece straight up off the pod to open the fill port.
Fill with e-liquid, leaving a small air gap at the top.
Push the mouthpiece back on until it clicks.
Leave a new pod to soak for a few minutes before the first puff so the cotton is wet through.

Xlim V3 pods have a silicone plug on top rather than a lift off mouthpiece: lift the plug, fill, and press it back in. NeXlim pods fill the same way, through a silicone plug on top.

VPrime and VPrime Dual Mesh pods also fill from the top, through a silicone plug on the shoulder of the pod: lift it, fill, and press it back in.

OXVA Coils for Older Pods

OXVA Unicoil coils fit the Origin and Origin X pods, so on those two you change the coil rather than the whole pod. Xlim, NeXlim and VPrime pods have the coil built in, and there is no separate coil to buy.

The Origin and Origin X take OXVA Unicoil replacement coils. The Vativ pod takes OXVA Uniplus coils instead.

An OXVA pod usually lasts four to five days of daily use. OXVA's own ratings go further: up to 30 refills in Eco and 20 in Boost for a NeXlim pod, and up to 50ml of e-liquid for an Xlim EZ. Sweet and high VG e-liquids shorten a pod's life, so change the pod once the flavour fades or tastes burnt.

No, NeXlim pods do not fit Xlim kits, as the two are separate pod families. NeXlim pods fit the NeXlim, NeXlim Go, NeXlim 2 and NeXlim 2 Mini, and Xlim cartridges fit the Xlim kits.

0.8 ohm is better for a tight MTL draw with nic salts, and 0.6 ohm is better for a looser, warmer RDL draw that takes nic salt or freebase e-liquid. It depends on the pod. An Xlim EZ pod opens by lifting the mouthpiece straight off to reach the red fill port. Xlim V3, NeXlim and VPrime pods stay closed and fill through a silicone plug on top, which you lift, fill through and press back in. The coil is sealed inside, so there is nothing else to take apart.

A burnt taste from an OXVA pod usually means the cotton was not soaked through, the e-liquid got too low, or the coil is worn out. Soak a new pod for a few minutes before the first puff, keep it topped up, and change the pod once the burnt taste stays.
