XROS COREX 3.0 Pods

The Vaporesso XROS COREX 3.0 pods are the newer-generation 2ml refillable pods for the entire XROS line. Built around a Hive Mesh honeycomb coil and the SSS silicone seal that arrived with the 3.0 update.

Inside each pod sits a Cumulus cotton wick around a pre-installed mesh coil. Together with the resistance set at the point of order across five options from a tight 1.2 ohm MTL through to a 0.4 ohm RDL.

The 3.0 generation sits alongside the older flat-mesh COREX 2.0 pod across the same magnetic fit, so either generation drops into any XROS kit without an adapter. The wider Vaporesso XROS pod kit range all takes this pod natively, from the original XROS through to the XROS 5 family, XROS Pro 2 and XROS 6. The COREX 3.0 sits inside Vaporesso's wider refillable pod range at the XROS-fitment end.

Each pack contains four pods. The 0.8 ohm sits as the most-picked option for nic salt users, the 0.6 ohm covers the loose MTL to light RDL crossover. The 0.4 ohm leans toward RDL with thicker 70/30 juice on the higher-wattage XROS kits.

Hive Mesh Honeycomb Coil

The COREX 3.0 pod moves away from the flat mesh pattern used on the older 2.0 generation. The honeycomb structure spreads e-liquid across a wider surface area and heats more evenly from the first puff.

This Vaporesso rates at around 40% more aroma intensity and around 30% smoother draw against the 2.0 baseline. Day-to-day that shows up as a fuller flavour ceiling on fruit and dessert juices, and a slightly cooler draw on menthol.

Cumulus cotton wraps the coil with a denser, more absorbent fibre than earlier XROS wicks. The pod stays saturated through longer sessions, and the dry, papery taste that signals end-of-life takes longer to arrive.

SSS Silicone Seal System

The SSS silicone seal is new to the 3.0 generation. It adds an extra gasket layer around the pod base, which cuts the small amount of weeping the older XROS pods could show after a few refills.

The seal is one of the two upgrades Vaporesso put against the 2.0 pod, the other being the Hive Mesh coil itself. Either change on its own is small.

Together they shift how often a pod needs wiping down between refills.

Five Resistance Options From RDL to Tight MTL

Each XROS COREX 3.0 pod has its coil pre-installed, so the resistance is locked in at the point of order. Match the resistance to the draw style and e-liquid that suits how the kit is being used day-to-day.

The 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm pair best with 10mg or 20mg nic salts and give the longest refill life. The 0.8 ohm is the everyday cross-over for nic salt users. The 0.6 ohm and 0.4 ohm reward 50/50 or 70/30 shortfills on the higher-wattage XROS kits.

Top-Fill Silicone Plug

The COREX 3.0 pod refills from the top through a silicone plug, with the pod still seated in the kit. Lift the plug at one edge, fill the pod with a 10ml nic salt or a 50/50 short fill.

Press the plug back down until it sits flush. Standing the kit upright for two or three minutes before the first puff gives the Cumulus cotton time to saturate fully.

This avoids the dry-hit taste a fresh coil can throw on the first draw.

Hive Mesh Coil Upgrades

The pin, pod shape and magnetic connector carry over from the older generation. The result is that the Hive Mesh pod drops into the same kit as the earlier flat-mesh pod with no extra adapter, and the reverse holds true. The distinction is the coil technology inside the pod, not pod fit.

The warmer, denser profile of the original mesh still has a following, and the older pods remain in stock at the same XROS-fit dimensions. Vapers who prefer that flavour profile can pick up the original flat-mesh XROS refillable pod in the same five resistance options.

Every kit in the Vaporesso XROS series uses the same magnetic pod connection, so a COREX 3.0 pod clicks into any XROS kit without an adapter. The current XROS lineup all takes this 3.0 pod natively:
