QUAQ Mesh Coil Technology

Every current refill in the range uses a QUAQ mesh coil, the brand's in-house heating element. QUAQ is a flat horizontal mesh strip that increases the heated surface area in contact with the e-liquid. Which lifts flavour clarity and slows the coil burn-out cycle compared with older round-wire bar-vape platforms.

Because the mesh sits closer to the wick, the cartridge delivers a more consistent vape from first puff to last and reduces the burnt-cotton taste vapers used to hit at the end of a disposable.

The QUAQ generation varies across the range as iMiracle has iterated the mesh shape over launches. But the working principle is the same: more surface area, better wicking, longer life. There is no separate coil to buy and no coil head swap; the coil is integrated into the pod, and the pod is the consumable.

This is the design pivot that took Lost Mary out of the single-use category and into the legal rechargeable pod kit space.

20mg Nic Salt on Every Prefilled Cartridge

All current refills are filled with 20mg nic salt e-liquid, the UK TPD legal maximum strength for prefilled cartridges sold to UK consumers. Nic salt is a smoother nicotine form than freebase, designed to be inhaled MTL (mouth-to-lung) at the strength level that satisfies former smokers without the throat harshness of high-strength freebase.

There is no 0mg, 5mg or 10mg prefilled Lost Mary pod, the prefilled range runs at 20mg only.

Vapers stepping down on strength can switch to the bottled Lost Mary 10ml nic salts in 5mg, 10mg or 20mg, used with a refillable MTL pod kit. The bottled range was previously sold as Maryliq and uses the same flavour recipes as the prefilled line.

Pod Life and Refill Cycle

Pod life depends on which platform you are on, not on a single number that applies to the whole range. Compact prefilled cartridges sit at the lower end and last roughly the same as a bar-style session before the flavour fades.

Auto-refill pods on the higher-puff kits stretch much further because the sealed e-liquid container tops the cartridge up between vapes. And the coil itself is engineered for the longer cycle.

As a working rule, plan on swapping a refill when the flavour notably dulls, when the vape starts to taste burnt. Or when the pod indicator (where the kit has one) flags a fade.

Every Lost Mary refill pod sold in the UK is fully TPD compliant: 2ml pod capacity, 20mg nicotine cap, MHRA-registered product. And submitted under the rechargeable refill model rather than the single-use disposable model that was banned from sale on 1 June 2025.

The pod is the consumable, the kit is rechargeable and reusable, and the model is the legal post-ban successor to the original Lost Mary disposable lineup.

If you stocked up before the single-use ban, the original disposables are now expired and should be retired through a UK vape recycling point. The current refill pod model is the only legal Lost Mary format on UK shelves.

And it works out cheaper per puff than the previous single-use generation because the user keeps the kit and only replaces the cartridge.

The brand also bottles the same flavour recipes as 10ml nic salts in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg strengths (previously branded Maryliq).
