Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini Pod Kit

The Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini is the simplest Vaporesso XROS pod kit in the XROS 4 family. There is no screen, no fire button and no menu. The XROS 4 Mini is draw-activated, so you fill the pod and inhale.

Inside the all-aluminium alloy unibody is a 1000mAh battery, and one LED shows battery level by colour. The kit comes with a 0.4 ohm COREX 2.0 mesh pod fitted, and Vaporesso state the XROS 4 Mini is compatible with the entire XROS pod series.

The XROS 5 Mini is the next model up.

XROS 4 Mini Vape With No Buttons

The headline difference between the XROS 4 Mini and the standard XROS 4 is control. The XROS 4 has a power button and three output modes. The XROS 4 Mini has neither: inhale and it fires, with the AXON chip and Pulse mode looking after output.

That makes the XROS 4 Mini an easy first refillable pod kit for anyone moving on from disposables, or a second kit that needs no attention.

XROS 4 Mini Battery and Charging

The XROS 4 Mini has a 1000mAh battery and charges over Type-C at 1A.

The LED shows battery level by colour after each puff or when you fit a pod. Vaporesso's manual gives green for 70 to 100 percent, blue for 30 to 70 percent and red below 30 percent. While charging, the LED breathes in the current colour and stays green when full.

XROS 4 Mini Airflow

The airflow toggle on the back of the XROS 4 Mini slides from a tight MTL draw to a looser RDL pull. Our advice: a 0.6 or 0.8 ohm pod with the airflow opened up for RDL, or a 1.0 or 1.2 ohm pod with it closed down for a tight MTL draw.

Vaporesso recommend nicotine salt e-liquid for XROS pods, and in the UK that means nic salt up to 20mg.

Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini Pods

Vaporesso state the XROS 4 Mini is compatible with the entire XROS pod series. The pod fitted in the kit is a 0.4 ohm COREX 2.0 mesh pod, and our XROS COREX 2.0 pods are the direct replacement.

The newer COREX 3.0 Hive Mesh pods fit the same way, and Vaporesso list them at 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 ohm. Every XROS pod fills from the top, with Vaporesso's SSS leak-resistant design.

How to Use the XROS 4 Mini

• Pull out the pod and peel the sticker off the pre-installed pod before first use.
• Snap off the mouthpiece and fill through the filling hole, then press the mouthpiece back on firmly.
• On first fill, wait five minutes for the coil to prime.
• Push the pod back into the XROS 4 Mini.
• Set the airflow toggle on the back.
• Inhale to vape. There is no button to press.

If the red LED flashes three times and the XROS 4 Mini stops, the battery is low and needs charging.
