How to Look After Your Vape Kit

A bit of basic vape maintenance is the difference between a kit that lasts a year and one that dies in three months. None of this takes long. The daily stuff is 30 seconds, the weekly clean is five minutes, and knowing when to change your coil saves you money on replacements. This guide covers pod kits and sub-ohm setups. If you've just set up your first kit, our priming guide covers that first step. Daily Habits Don't let it run dry. This is the single biggest coil killer. When the e-liquid drops below the wicking holes, the cotton burns and the coil is finished. Top up before the pod looks empty, not after. After that, just wipe it down. E-liquid is sticky and it builds up fast around the pod connection and mouthpiece. A tissue after you've been vaping stops it turning into a crusty mess. And store it standing up. We see so many kits come back with leaking issues that are just down to someone leaving it on its side in a bag. Gravity pulls liquid away from the coil and into gaps it shouldn't reach. Weekly Kit Clean [shotcode_multi_image_section_7] Five minutes on a Sunday evening. That's the routine most of our staff follow and it keeps kits running for months. For pod kits, pull the pod out and clean the contacts on both sides with a cotton bud. E-liquid builds up here and causes misfires and weak hits. Check the pod for cracks while you're at it, especially around the mouthpiece. Blocked airflow holes? Toothpick. Sub-ohm setups need a bit more. Take the coil out and check the cotton. Dark or charred means it's time for a swap. Rinse the tank parts (not the coil) with warm water, dry everything, then reassemble. Worth checking the O-rings on the tank glass too. They're the rubber seals that stop leaking, and they do wear out. Spares usually come in the box. Once a month, give the mouthpiece and tank a wash with warm water and a drop of washing up liquid. Never get the battery section wet. Just wipe that down and clear pocket fluff out of the charging port with a dry toothbrush. When to Change Your Coil Most coils last one to two weeks. Sweeter flavours and high VG shortfills gunk them up faster than nic salts do, so coil life varies depending on what you vape. A burnt taste that won't clear after refilling is the obvious sign it's done. But coils also fade gradually. If the flavour has gone flat compared to when you first put it in, that coil is on its way out. Dark residue on the mesh or cotton confirms it. Pod kits are simple here. The coil is built into the pod, so you just replace the whole thing. Sub-ohm tanks need you to unscrew the old coil, fit the new one, prime it, and refill. Our coils and pods guide walks through both. Batteries and Knowing When to Replace Don't drain your battery to zero every time. Regularly running flat shortens the lifespan. Most pod kits charge via USB-C in under an hour, so topping up at around 20% is easy enough. Heat is the other thing to watch. A kit left in a hot car or on a sunny windowsill won't last as long, and the e-liquid can start tasting off. If you use a sub-ohm kit with removable batteries, keep them in a case. Loose batteries in a pocket with keys or coins is a real fire risk. Not being dramatic, it does happen. The kit itself should last 12 to 18 months with basic care. You'll know it's done when the battery won't get through a day, buttons stop responding, or the pod connection plays up after cleaning. At that point, you're better off putting the money toward a replacement than fighting a losing battle with a worn-out kit. Switching From Disposable Vapes: Prefilled or Refillable?

Ready to switch? Browse refillable pod kits or refillable kits. Disposables are gone. If you used one, you've got two options now: prefilled pod kits or refillable pod kits. Both work. Both feel similar to a disposable. The difference comes down to how much control you want. Here's a quick comparison so you can skip the parts that don't apply to you. Prefilled Refillable How it works Click in a pod, vape, replace Fill pod from a bottle Nicotine 20mg only 0mg to 20mg Flavours 10-20 per brand Thousands Cost ~£350-450/year ~£180-280/year Best for Zero hassle Choice and savings If You Want It Simple: Prefilled Pods Prefilled kits are the closest thing to a disposable. You charge the battery, click in a pod, and vape. When the pod runs out, you throw it away and click in a new one. No bottles, no filling, no vape coils. The trade-off is flexibility. Most prefilled pods only come in 20mg, so if you want to lower your nicotine over time, you're stuck. Flavour choice depends entirely on what that brand makes for their pods, which is usually 10-20 options. Still way more than a single disposable, but nothing compared to refillable. Big prefilled brands right now include Elf Bar, Lost Mary, SKE Crystal, IVG, and Hayati. Browse our prefilled kits and refill pods to see what's available. [shotcode_multi_image_section_8] If You Want Control: Refillable Kits Refillable kits give you access to every nic salt and 50/50 e-liquid on the market. That's thousands of flavours across dozens of brands, at any nicotine strength from 0mg to 20mg. The daily experience is almost identical to a disposable. You fill the pod, put it in, and vape. The extra step takes about 30 seconds. In return, you're paying roughly half what prefilled costs and you can reduce your nicotine whenever you're ready. If that sounds like the right fit, our beginner's guide covers everything you need to know about picking your first refillable kit. Our nic salt strength guide helps you choose between 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg. What About the Flavours? This is where refillable really pulls ahead. Disposables gave you maybe 5-10 flavours per brand. Refillable opens up the entire e-liquid market. If you liked your disposable flavours, bar salts are nic salt e-liquids made to taste exactly like the old disposables. Brands like Elux, ElfLIQ, and Bar Juice 5000 bottle the same recipes you already know. Our best nic salt brands guide covers the top picks. Beyond bar salts, there are custards, tobaccos, bakery flavours, drinks, menthols, and fruit combinations you'd never find in a disposable. UK e-liquid brands have had years to develop these and the quality is noticeably different. Which Route Should You Take? Go prefilled if you don't want to think about it at all. Charge it, click in a pod, done. It'll cost more and you'll have less choice, but there's nothing to learn. Go refillable if you care about flavour variety, want to control your nicotine level, or want to spend less. There's a 30-second learning curve on filling a pod and that's about it. Either way, you're spending less and wasting less than disposables. And if you start with prefilled and decide you want more options later, switching to refillable is easy. Browse our pod kits or beginner kits to see what's out there. How To Choose The Right Vape Kit

Ready to buy? Browse all vape kits or pod kits. Most people overthink this. Choosing a vape kit comes down to one question: what are you coming from? Your answer points you straight at the right type, and from there you're just picking a colour and a price. Here's the quick version. Coming from You want E-liquid type Budget Disposables Pod kit (refillable) Nic salts 10-20mg £15-£30 Disposables (want zero effort) Prefilled pod kit Prefilled pods £10-£20 + pods Cigarettes Starter kit (MTL) Nic salts 10-20mg £15-£25 Another vape kit (want an upgrade) Sub-ohm kit or higher-end pod Shortfills 0-6mg £25-£60 Nothing (complete beginner) Pod kit (refillable) Nic salts 10mg £15-£25 If that table gave you your answer, job done. Go browse. If you want a bit more detail on why, keep reading. Switching From Disposables This is the most common question we get since the ban came in. The short answer is a refillable pod kit with nic salts. The draw feels almost identical to a disposable and the nicotine hit is the same. Most bar salt e-liquids are based on the exact recipes you already know. The only real change is you fill the pod yourself, which takes about ten seconds. Our switching from disposables guide covers the whole process if you want the step-by-step. If even that feels like too much, prefilled pod kits are the middle ground. You buy a rechargeable battery and slot in pre-filled flavour pods. Less flexible than refillable, but the closest thing to a disposable that's still legal. Switching From Cigarettes Different situation entirely. You need a mouth-to-lung (MTL) draw because that's how you smoked. You also need enough nicotine to kill the cravings from the first puff, so 20mg nic salts for most pack-a-day smokers. Pod kits and starter kits both handle this well. The key is getting something with a tight draw and a small mouthpiece. We've got a nicotine strength guide that helps work out whether you need 10mg or 20mg based on how much you smoked. Plenty of our customers started on 20mg and dropped to 10mg within a few months without really thinking about it. The kit doesn't need to change when you reduce, just the liquid. Upgrading From a Basic Kit If you've been vaping a while and want better flavour or bigger clouds, you're after a sub-ohm kit or a pod kit with adjustable wattage. Sub-ohm kits use shortfill e-liquids at lower nicotine strengths (0-6mg) and produce noticeably more vapour. The trade-off is they're bigger, use more liquid, and the coils cost a bit more. Worth it if you enjoy the hobby side of vaping. Not worth it if you just want nicotine. Our MTL vs DTL vs RDL guide explains the different vaping styles in detail if you're not sure which direction to go. [shotcode_multi_image_section_10] Complete Beginners Never smoked, never vaped, just curious. Start with a refillable pod kit and 10mg nic salts. It's the simplest setup, the cheapest to run, and if you decide vaping isn't for you, you haven't spent much time finding out. Our beginner's guide covers everything from unboxing to your first puff. It's the page we send every new customer to, and it answers most of the questions people message us about in the first week. What About E-Liquid? Your kit choice determines your e-liquid type, not the other way round. Pod kits and starter kits work best with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquid. These are thinner liquids that wick well in smaller coils and carry nicotine smoothly at higher strengths. Sub-ohm kits need thicker high VG shortfills that can handle higher power without spitting or flooding. Using nic salts in a sub-ohm tank would give you far too much nicotine per puff. If that sounds confusing, it's not once you've picked your kit type. Every product page on our site lists the compatible e-liquid types, so you can't really go wrong. Beginner's Guide to Vaping: What to Know Before You Start

Ready to start? Browse beginner vape kits and pod kits. Most people who contact us have the same story. They've tried patches, gum, maybe Champix. Nothing stuck. Now they're looking at vaping but the amount of information out there is paralysing. This guide covers the basics and nothing more. We've got separate guides for the detailed stuff - vape coils, priming, e-liquid science, wattage settings - and we'll link to them as we go. What you'll get here is enough to walk into a shop or order online without feeling lost. How Vaping Works - the 30-Second Version Cigarettes burn tobacco at over 800 degrees. That burning is what creates the tar, the carbon monoxide, the formaldehyde - basically all the stuff that kills you. Nicotine on its own isn't great, but it's not what gives you lung cancer. Vaping skips the burning entirely. Your kit warms liquid to about 200 degrees, which is enough to turn it into vapour but nowhere close to combustion. We explain this to customers on live chat probably ten times a day. It's the bit that clicks for most people - once you take fire out of the equation, you take out most of the harm. The NHS puts vaping at around 95% less harmful than smoking. That number gets quoted a lot and occasionally argued about, but the basic logic is sound. No fire, no smoke, no tar. Inside the vape you've got a battery, a coil, and a pod or tank that holds the liquid. Battery powers the coil, coil heats the liquid, you inhale the vapour. Some kits have a button, some just activate when you draw on them. Choosing a Kit When You Don't Know What You Want [shotcode_multi_image_section_12] Since the disposable ban in June 2025, the market's actually easier to navigate. You've got two main options as a beginner. Prefilled pod kits are the closest thing to a disposable. Rechargeable battery, prefilled pods you swap when empty. No filling, no coil changes, no fuss. Brands like Elf Bar, Lost Mary, and IVG all make them. Good for people who want simplicity and don't care about having thousands of flavour options. Browse our prefilled pod kits to see what's available. Refillable pod kits are where most people end up. You fill the pod yourself from a bottle of e-liquid, which opens up thousands of flavours and saves a lot of money long-term. The OXVA Xlim, Uwell Caliburn, and Vaporesso XROS ranges are the ones we sell the most of. They're straightforward to use, hold up well, and cheap to run. Our pod kits collection has the full range, and there's a more detailed breakdown in our guide to choosing a pod vape kit. If you're coming from disposables specifically, we wrote a separate guide to switching from disposables to pod kits that covers the transition step by step. The Vaping Style That Matters - MTL vs DTL There are different ways to inhale vapour. Picking the wrong one is probably the fastest way to hate vaping before you've given it a fair go. MTL (mouth-to-lung) mimics how you smoke a cigarette. Draw into your mouth, pause, breathe into your lungs. Tighter airflow, less vapour, works with higher nicotine. This is what most smokers should start with. DTL (direct-to-lung) is breathing vapour straight into your lungs like you're inhaling through a wide straw. Big clouds, lower nicotine, more power. It's a hobby for experienced vapers and a terrible starting point if you're trying to quit cigarettes. RDL (restricted direct-to-lung) sits between the two. Some people drift toward it after a few months on MTL. Most beginner kits are MTL or adjustable between MTL and RDL. Our guide to vaping styles goes deeper if you want the full picture. E-Liquid Basics - What Goes in Your Vape Every e-liquid has four ingredients: propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerine (VG), nicotine, and flavouring. PG carries flavour and creates throat hit. VG makes the visible vapour. The ratio between them matters. A 50/50 split works well in most pod kits, and that's what the majority of nic salt e-liquids and 50/50 e-liquids use. Higher VG ratios (70/30 or above) are for bigger kits with more wattage. If you want the full breakdown, our e-liquids 101 guide covers ingredients, ratios, and how to match liquids to kits. Nicotine Strength - Getting This Right Matters Most Get the nicotine wrong and nothing else matters. Too low and you'll be back on cigarettes within days. Too high and it'll be harsh and unpleasant. There are two types of nicotine in e-liquid: Nicotine salts are smooth even at higher strengths. They hit your bloodstream fast, which feels closer to a cigarette. Available in 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg. This is what most people switching from smoking should use. Our nic salt guide explains the science, and the strengths guide helps you pick between 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg. Freebase nicotine gives a stronger throat hit but gets harsh above 12mg. It's the traditional type. Available from 3mg to 18mg. Quick starting point: How much you smoke Start with Under 10 a day 5-10mg nic salt 10-20 a day 10-15mg nic salt 20+ a day 15-20mg nic salt There's a more detailed version in our nicotine strength guide for smokers. If you're not sure, start slightly higher than you think you need. You can always step down later, but starting too low usually means going back to cigarettes. Flavour - Keep It Simple at First Fruit flavours are the most popular by a long way, followed by menthol and then dessert. Tobacco flavours account for less than 10% of the market now, though they're useful as a starting point if you're nervous about the change. Buy 2-3 different 10ml bottles to start. One fruit, one menthol if you like fresh tastes, one tobacco if you want familiar ground. Your taste buds recover fast once you stop smoking, so what you like in week one might be completely different by week four. Don't buy in bulk yet. Browse by flavour type: fruit, menthol, tobacco, candy and sweet. Your First Week - What to Expect The first few days feel odd. The vapour is different from smoke, the nicotine hits differently, and your brain keeps expecting a cigarette even when the craving has technically been satisfied. That's normal and it passes. Some practical things that help: Charge the battery fully before you start Prime new coils or pods by letting them sit with liquid for 10 minutes before you vape. Our priming guide walks through this Take shorter, slower draws than you would on a cigarette Keep the vape with you constantly for the first week. Reach for it before cravings build Don't try to cut down straight away. Replace first, reduce later If the flavour goes off after a week or two, it's probably the coil. Coils are a consumable part - they wear out and need swapping every 1-2 weeks. Our coils guide covers when and how to change them. Common Problems and Quick Fixes Problem Likely cause Fix Flavour tastes burnt Coil is worn out or wasn't primed Swap the coil, prime the new one Harsh on your throat Nicotine too high, or using freebase Drop the strength or try nic salts Barely any vapour Low battery or old coil Charge up and check the coil Leaking Overfilled, or damaged seal Leave air gap when filling, check seals Still craving cigarettes Nicotine too low Increase strength - better to succeed at 20mg than fail at 10mg Where to Go From Here Once you're comfortable with the basics, there's plenty to explore. You don't need to read all of these - just pick what's relevant: What wattage should you vape at Am I using the right e-liquid? Choosing Between 0.6 and 0.8 OXVA Xlim Pods

Need new pods? Shop OXVA Xlim pods or the full OXVA Xlim range. Pick up two OXVA Xlim pods and they look identical from the outside. One says 0.6 ohm, the other says 0.8 ohm. But put them in your kit and they vape completely differently. Wrong choice and your setup will feel off no matter what wattage you run. I've sold both to thousands of customers at our Ecigone vape shop since the Xlim range launched. Most people know which they prefer within a few draws. Here's what each one actually does and how to get the best out of it. 0.6 Ohm vs 0.8 Ohm: The Short Version If you just want the answer, here it is. 0.6 Ohm 0.8 Ohm Draw Style Restricted direct lung (RDL) Mouth to lung (MTL) Best Wattage 23 to 28W 12 to 16W Throat Hit Softer, warmer Stronger, tighter Vapour More visible clouds Discreet, minimal Best Nic Strength 6mg to 12mg nicotine salts 10mg to 20mg nic salt Best VG/PG Ratio 60/40 or 50/50 50/50 Battery Drain Faster (higher wattage) Slower (lower wattage) Pod Life Slightly shorter Slightly longer Best For More flavour, more vapour Ex-smokers, stealth vaping That table covers the basics. Read on for the details behind each point. What 0.6 Ohm Pods Give You More vapour, more flavour, looser draw. You inhale straight to your lungs with a slight restriction, which vapers call restricted direct lung (RDL). Think of it as a step up from cigarette-style vaping without going full cloud chaser. Because the wattage sits higher at 23 to 28W, more e-liquid gets heated per puff. Dessert and fruit flavours really come alive on 0.6 ohm pods. You taste layers you'd miss on a tighter draw. Your battery won't last as long though. On an Xlim Go 2 with its 1000mAh battery, you'll feel the difference by mid-afternoon. Xlim Pro 3 and 3 Ultra have bigger batteries so they handle it better. What 0.8 Ohm Pods Give You This is the one for ex-smokers. You pull vapour into your mouth first, then inhale, just like a cigarette. That's mouth to lung (MTL) vaping and it's what most people switching from smoking are after. At 12 to 16W, you're running much less power than a 0.6 ohm pod. Less vapour comes out, but the throat hit is stronger and more concentrated. Pair it with 20mg nic salt and it scratches the itch that cigarettes left behind. Coil life is a bit longer too. Less heat going through the mesh means less wear, so you'll get an extra day or two from each pod before the flavour drops off. Wattage Settings by Pod Resistance This is where most people go wrong. Run a 0.8 ohm pod at 25W and you'll burn the coils out in two days. Stick a 0.6 ohm pod at 12W and you'll barely taste anything. Pod Resistance Minimum Sweet Spot Maximum 0.4 ohm 22W 26 to 30W 30W 0.6 ohm 18W 23 to 28W 30W 0.8 ohm 10W 12 to 16W 20W 1.2 ohm 8W 10 to 14W 18W On kits with a screen like the Pro 3, SQ Pro 2, and 3 Ultra, you set the wattage yourself. The chipset reads what pod you've put in and suggests a range. On the Xlim Go 2, it does it on its own. Flavour tasting weak on a 0.6 ohm pod? Bump it up 2W at a time. Getting a harsh vape on 0.8 ohm? Drop it down a notch. Small changes go a long way. Which E-Liquid Works Best Get the liquid wrong for your pod and you'll either burn through coils or wonder why the flavour is flat. For 0.8 Ohm Pods Nic salt at 10mg or 20mg, 50/50 VG/PG. Because the draw is tight and the wattage is low, each puff is concentrated. 20mg nic salt through a 0.8 ohm pod hits the spot without going overboard. Stay away from 70/30 VG or above. Thick liquid can't wick fast enough at lower wattages and you'll get dry hits. 50/50 is the safe bet every time. For 0.6 Ohm Pods Drop the nicotine down. 6mg to 12mg nic salt or 3mg to 6mg freebase. Both 50/50 and 60/40 VG/PG work well here since the higher wattage handles slightly thicker liquid without a problem. One thing to watch out for: 20mg nic salt at 25W hits much harder than you'd think. More vapour per draw means more nicotine per draw. If you're moving from 0.8 to 0.6 ohm pods, drop your strength down at the same time. Quick E-Liquid Pairing Table Pod Nic Salt Freebase VG/PG 0.6 ohm 6mg to 12mg 3mg to 6mg 50/50 or 60/40 0.8 ohm 10mg to 20mg 6mg to 12mg 50/50 1.2 ohm 20mg Not recommended 50/50 0.4 ohm 6mg to 10mg 3mg to 6mg 50/50 or 60/40 OXVA pods work best with 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids at the nicotine strengths listed above. If you want a matched option, our OX Passion Nic Salts range uses a 50/50 blend at 10mg and 20mg. Which Pod Fits Which Kit Good news here. All 0.6 and 0.8 ohm Xlim pods fit across most of the range. You don't need different pods for different kits. Pod Type Fits These Kits Xlim V3 (top fill) Xlim Go 2, Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2 DNA Xlim V2 (side fill) Xlim Go 2, Xlim Pro 3, older Xlim kits Xlim EZ Xlim Go 2, SQ Pro, older Xlim kits NeXlim and VPrime are the exceptions. They use their own pods and won't take Xlim pods at all. The full compatibility list is on our OXVA Pods page. Common Mistakes Running 0.8 ohm pods too hot. Anything above 20W and the coil burns out fast. Keep it between 12 and 16W. I see this one all the time when people switch from 0.6 to 0.8 and forget to drop the wattage. 20mg nic salt in a 0.6 ohm pod. Too much nicotine per puff for most people. Drop to 10mg or 12mg. Thick liquid in 0.8 ohm pods. 70/30 VG and above is too heavy. Stick with 50/50. Dry hits are almost always a wicking issue from liquid that's too thick for the pod. Writing off a resistance after one draw. Fresh coils need a few hours to break in properly. Give each pod half a day before you decide. How Pod Resistance Affects Cost Pod price is the same for both resistances. Where the cost differs is in how fast you go through liquid and how long each pod lasts. On 0.6 ohm, expect to go through 3 to 4ml of liquid per day. On 0.8 ohm, more like 2 to 3ml. Over a month that adds up, especially if you're buying 10ml bottles. 0.8 ohm pods also tend to last a day or two longer before the flavour fades. Less heat through the coil means less wear on the mesh. Not a huge difference week to week, but over a few months you'll buy fewer pods. Battery-wise, 0.8 ohm wins again. An Xlim Go 2 on 0.8 ohm pods will comfortably last a full day. The same kit on 0.6 ohm at double the wattage might need a top-up charge by evening. My Recommendation Coming off cigarettes? 0.8 ohm pods with 20mg of nic salt. That tight draw and concentrated throat hit is the closest thing to smoking you'll get from a vape. It's the setup I recommend to every new customer who's switching. Already vaping and want a bit more from your flavour? Give 0.6 ohm a go. Drop your nic strength to 10mg or 12mg, set the wattage around 25W, and see how you get on. Most people who try it don't go back. Not sure at all? Most OXVA Xlim vape Series kits come with a 0.6 and a 0.8 ohm pod in the box. Try each one for a day and you'll know. How to Use the OXVA NeXlim: Settings, Buttons & Modes Guide

Want the kit? Shop the OXVA NeXlim or browse all OXVA kits. There’s now a newer model too: the OXVA NeXlim 2 and compact NeXlim 2 Mini. This guide covers everything you need to know about using the OXVA NeXlim. Button functions, eco and boost modes, wattage settings, pod options, troubleshooting - all from months of real daily use. Looking to buy one? Shop the OXVA NeXlim vape kit here. Already got one and need help? Jump to the section you need below. The NeXlim covers 5 to 40W with Eco and Boost modes on a 1500mAh battery. For the full spec sheet, price and stock, see the OXVA NeXlim pod kit page. The rest of this guide is about using it day to day. How to Use the OXVA NeXlim Turning On Press the fire button five times quickly. The screen lights up and shows your current settings. Five clicks again to turn it off. Filling the Pod Pull the pod out of the kit Flip it over to find the silicone fill port on the side Lift the silicone plug Fill with e-liquid, leaving a small air gap at the top Close the plug and let the pod rest for 3 to 5 minutes before first use That wait time matters. Fresh vape coils need to soak up e-liquid before you vape. Skipping it risks a dry hit and can burn the coil on your first puff. First Draw Once the pod has soaked, slot it back into the kit. You can either press the fire button and inhale, or just draw on the mouthpiece. Auto-draw kicks in on its own. The screen shows your wattage, resistance, and battery level. Button Functions One main button on the side controls everything. Here's what each combination does. Action What It Does 5 clicks Turn on / turn off 3 clicks Switch between Eco and Boost mode Hold button and draw Manual fire (button activation) Just draw Auto-draw activation Button + up/down (on screen) Adjust wattage You don't need to use the button at all if you prefer auto-draw. Both activation methods work at the same time. Pick whichever feels more natural. Eco vs Boost Mode Simpler than most people think, this one. Eco mode lowers the power output to save battery. Slightly cooler vape, less vapour, but the battery stretches noticeably further. Good for days when you're out all day with no charger. Boost mode pushes the coil harder. More vapour, warmer vape, stronger flavour. Burns through the battery quicker but the taste difference is worth it when you want a fuller hit. Three clicks of the fire button swaps between them. The screen shows which mode you're in. Which Mode Should You Use Daily MTL vaping on a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod? Eco mode. You won't notice much flavour drop on the tighter pods and the battery goes further. Read our guide if you want to learn more about MTL versus DTL Vaping. On the 0.6 ohm pod I switch to boost. More vapour at higher wattage means the coil has more to work with and the flavour comes alive. RDL vapers will prefer boost almost every time. No harm keeping it on eco permanently. Pod life may stretch a bit longer too, since the coil stays cooler. Boost Mode Not Working Won't switch to boost? Pull the pod out and reseat it until it clicks. Still nothing? Try a fresh pod. Worn coils can block mode switching. Stuck in Eco Mode Same thing - reseat the pod first. Still stuck? Turn the kit off (five clicks), wait 10 seconds, power it back on, then try three clicks. A full restart sorts out most mode issues. Wattage Settings by Pod Every NeXlim pod has a wattage range. Stay inside it and you'll get the best flavour without killing pods early. Pod Resistance Style Wattage Range Best At 0.6 ohm 0.6 ohm RDL 20 to 40W 25 to 30W 0.8 ohm 0.8 ohm MTL 12 to 32W 14 to 18W 1.2 ohm 1.2 ohm MTL 10 to 25W 12 to 14W That "Best At" column comes from months of daily use. You can push higher or lower within the range, but those wattages hit the sweet spot between flavour and pod life. Your NeXlim reads the pod resistance automatically and suggests a starting wattage. Adjust from there using the button controls on the screen. Pod Options and Compatibility NeXlim pods only work in the NeXlim. Other Xlim kits use different pods and they won't cross over. Only exception in the OXVA range where pods aren't shared. The UK version is 2ml (TPD compliant). The international version is 4ml. All three resistances (0.6, 0.8, and 1.2 ohm) use dual-mesh coils with UniTech 2.0 wicking. The dual-mesh gives better flavour than single-coil pods across the board. Side-fill design with a silicone plug. How Long Do NeXlim Pods Last Expect 10 to 14 days from a pod of 50/50 nic salts. Sweet liquids cut that short. Fruit and menthol tend to go the distance; dessert and custard profiles gunk coils faster. Once flavour starts going dull or you catch a burnt note, bin the pod. Running a dead coil just ruins the vape. Best E-Liquid for the NeXlim 50/50 VG/PG nic salt at 10mg or 20mg in the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods. For the 0.6 ohm, 50/50 or 60/40 both work. Drop to 10mg at 0.6 ohm if 20mg feels like too much with the extra vapour. Freebase E-liquid works too - same ratios, same strengths, just a sharper throat hit at any given mg. OX Passion nic salts are OXVA's own line. 50/50, 20mg, and they pair well with the 0.8 ohm NeXlim pod. Airflow Control A slider on the bottom of the NeXlim adjusts airflow between tight MTL and looser RDL. Slide it fully closed for the tightest draw. This mimics a cigarette pull and works best with the 1.2 or 0.8 ohm pod. Slide it open for more air and a looser inhale. On the 0.6 ohm pod at higher wattage with open airflow, you get a full RDL vape. You can set it anywhere between the two extremes. Small adjustments make a noticeable difference to how the draw feels. Screen and Themes On the 0.85 inch colour screen you'll see battery level, wattage, puff count, coil resistance, and current mode (eco or boost). Three themes to pick from. Hold the button when the kit is unlocked to get into theme settings. Stays readable in direct sunlight. Dims after each draw to save battery. Puff Clear and Puff Counter Your puff count shows on screen and the NeXlim tracks it automatically. To reset it back to zero, go into the settings and find the puff clear option. Hold the button to confirm. This just resets the counter. It doesn't change any vaping settings. Some people reset it daily to track usage. Others reset when they put a new pod in to see how many puffs each pod lasts. Battery Life and Charging 1500mAh gets you through a full day on the 0.8 ohm pod in eco mode. Heavy use on 0.6 ohm in boost drains it faster - still a solid 8 to 10 hours though. USB-C at 2A. About 80% in an hour, full charge in 90 minutes. The screen shows the exact percentage so you're never guessing. Dead battery? Fifteen minutes on the cable gives you enough for a couple of hours. Quick desk charge while you work and you're sorted. [shotcode_multi_image_section_13] Troubleshooting NeXlim Not Turning On Plug it into a USB-C cable. If the screen shows a charging icon, the battery was just dead - wait a few minutes and try five clicks. Nothing on screen at all? Different cable, different plug. Some USB-C cables don't carry enough power. NeXlim Not Firing Pull the pod, check the contacts on the bottom for e-liquid. Wipe with a tissue, reseat it firmly. Still nothing? Fresh pod. A burnt-out coil triggers a safety cutoff and the kit won't fire until you swap it. Not Charging Different cable first. If no charging indicator shows with any cable, the port probably needs a clean. Dry cotton bud, gently inside. Lint and pocket dust build up there over time. Where the NeXlim Fits in the Xlim Range At 40W max output, the NeXlim is the highest-wattage pod kit in OXVA's lineup. Xlim Pro 2 and Pro 3 both cap at 30W. Trade-off: NeXlim pods only work in the NeXlim, while the rest of the Xlim range shares pods across kits. Want the most wattage and biggest flavour from OXVA? NeXlim. Want pod sharing across multiple kits? Xlim Pro 3 or 3 Ultra. IVG Vape Error Codes Explained: E2, H3, E1 and How to Fix Them (All IVG Kits)

Need a new IVG? Shop all IVG vapes or IVG Pro refill pods. Five IVG kits, one guide. Got the IVG 2400, IVG Air, IVG Pro 12, IVG Smart Max, or IVG XL 35K? Setup, charging, and fixing problems for all in the IVG Vape range are covered below. IVG 2400 Setup and How to Use No buttons on the IVG 2400 kit. It's draw-activated, so you just inhale to vape. Getting it going takes about two minutes. First time setup: Take the kit, mouthpiece, and four prefilled pods out of the box Push all four pods into the pod chamber until each one clicks Press the mouthpiece on top until it locks in place Twist the body to line up your chosen flavour with the indicator mark Wait 60 seconds for the vape coils to soak before your first draw Inhale to vape. You'll see the LED light up when it fires Switching flavours: Twist the body to rotate between the four pods. Each pod holds a different flavour (multi-edition) or the same flavour (single edition). You don't need to remove anything to switch. How to open the IVG 2400: Pull the mouthpiece straight up to remove it. Pods sit underneath. Push the mouthpiece back down until it clicks to reassemble. Once the originals run out, grab some IVG 2400 refill pods. Pull the mouthpiece off, remove the old pods, click fresh ones in, and wait 60 seconds before vaping. How to Charge the IVG 2400 You'll find a USB-C port on the bottom of the rechargeable IVG 2400 kit. Worth knowing: the original disposable IVG 2400 had no charging port at all. If yours doesn't have one, it's the old disposable version and can't be charged. IVG 2400 charging steps: Find the USB-C port on the bottom of the kit Plug in any USB-C cable (not included in the box) Connect to a USB power source (wall plug, laptop, power bank) LED turns red while charging LED turns off or changes colour when fully charged Question Answer How long does it take to charge IVG 2400? Around 45 to 60 minutes from empty IVG 2400 battery size 1,750mAh Can you charge IVG 2400? Yes, the rechargeable version has USB-C IVG 2400 no charging port? You have the old disposable version How to know when IVG 2400 is charged LED turns off or changes from red Can you vape while charging? Not recommended. Wait until it's done Should you take the pod out when charging? No. Leave the pods in while the IVG 2400 charges. Pulling pods in and out just increases the chance of a loose connection. At 1,750mAh, the battery should last through all four pods on a single charge for most vapers. Heavy vapers might need one top-up charge per set of pods. IVG 2400 Not Working: How to Fix It Most IVG 2400 problems come down to pod connections, flat batteries, or empty pods. Work through the fixes below based on what you're seeing. IVG 2400 lighting up but not producing vapour: Remove the mouthpiece and push all four pods down firmly Twist to a different pod to check if just one pod is the problem Check for e-liquid on the contacts and wipe with a dry cloth Reassemble everything and try again Nine times out of ten, "light on but no vapour" is a pod not sitting correctly in the chamber. IVG 2400 completely dead (no light, no vapour): Charge it for at least 30 minutes using USB-C If the LED doesn't come on while charging, try a different cable Remove all pods and the mouthpiece, then reassemble from scratch Check the contacts inside the pod chamber for dirt or liquid Got no charging port at all? You have the old disposable IVG 2400. That version can't be recharged or fixed once the battery runs out. IVG 2400 tastes burnt or off: Twist to a different pod. The current one is likely running low If all four taste bad, charge the battery. Low power affects flavour Let it rest for 5 minutes if you've been chain vaping Each IVG 2400 pod gives you approximately 600 puffs. When the flavour drops off, that pod is done. Swap to the next one or replace with fresh IVG 2400 refill pods. How to know when IVG 2400 pod is empty: Flavour weakens or tastes dry You get less vapour than normal Draw feels tighter or hollow You can see through the pod and the liquid level is low IVG Air: Charging and Flashing Red Fix Same pod format as the IVG 2400, but a different kit with a different battery. If your IVG Air is playing up, start here. IVG Air flashing red: A flashing red LED on the IVG Air usually points to one of these: Red Light Pattern What It Likely Means Fix Flashing red while vaping Battery is low Charge via USB-C Flashing red constantly Pod connection issue Remove and reseat pods Red flash then nothing Battery is flat Charge for 30+ minutes Flashing red while charging Charging normally Wait for light to stop IVG Air not charging: Try a different USB-C cable. Faulty cables are the most common cause Try a different power source (wall plug instead of laptop) Clean the charging port with a dry cotton bud to clear dust or lint If none of that works, the battery may be faulty. Contact the retailer IVG Air 2 in 1 not charging: Same fixes apply. Both the 2 in 1 and 4 in 1 versions use the same charging setup. If the LED doesn't respond to any cable or power source, the kit needs replacing. For replacement pods, head to the IVG 2400 pods collection. IVG Air pods and IVG 2400 pods are different products with different pod shapes, so make sure you pick the right ones for your kit. IVG Pro 12: Error Codes and Troubleshooting Your IVG Pro 12 has a screen that flashes error codes when it runs into a problem. IVG hasn't published an official list for these codes. Based on what vapers report and how similar kits work, the table below covers the most common codes and fixes. IVG Pro error codes (based on common vape kit codes): Error Code Most Likely Meaning What to Try E1 Kit can't detect the pod Remove and reseat the pod firmly E2 Pod or coil connection fault Try a different pod. Wipe the contacts clean H3 Overheating protection kicked in Stop vaping and let the kit cool for 5 minutes X3 Pod resistance reading is off Remove pod, clean contacts, reinsert OP Over-puff protection Kit locks after too many draws. Wait 30 seconds HI Temperature too high Let the kit cool down completely before vaping E3 Commonly an output or voltage fault Charge the kit fully, then try a fresh pod. If it stays, the battery may be faulty H1 Commonly an early overheat warning Stop vaping and let the kit cool before the next draw X1 Commonly pod resistance too low (possible short) Remove the pod, wipe the contacts and reseat it, or try another pod Note: If you see a code not listed here, or these fixes don't clear it, contact the retailer. It may be a fault with the kit itself. IVG Pro not working (no display, no vapour): Charge the kit for at least 30 minutes Remove the pod and check contacts are clean and dry Try a different IVG Pro 12 refill pod If the screen stays blank after charging, the battery is likely dead IVG Pro not charging: Try a different USB-C cable Try a different power source Clean the USB-C port with a dry cotton bud Check the screen while plugged in. You should see a charging icon IVG Pro E2 error (most searched): E2 on most vape kits points to a coil or pod connection fault. On the IVG Pro 12, it usually means the pod isn't making a clean contact with the kit. Pull the pod out, wipe the gold contacts on the bottom with a dry cloth, and push it back in firmly. If E2 keeps coming back even with different pods, the kit itself may have a fault. How to remove IVG Pro pod: Grip the pod at the top and pull straight up. Don't twist it. It sits in a magnetic connection so it should come out smoothly. If it's stuck, wiggle it gently side to side while pulling up. IVG Pro 12 Setup Charge the kit fully before first use (takes around 45 to 60 minutes) Unwrap a new IVG Pro 12 refill pod Push the pod into the top of the kit until it clicks Wait 60 seconds for the coil to soak Inhale to vape. Screen shows battery level and puff count A 10ml container sits behind the 2ml pod and tops it up as you vape. You don't need to do anything manually. IVG calls it auto-refill. When the container runs dry, the flavour drops off and it's time for a new pod. IVG Smart Max: Not Working and How to Refill Previously called the IVG Smart 5500, the Smart Max uses the same auto-refill pod setup as the Pro 12 but in a different kit body. IVG Smart Max not working: Check the pod is pushed in firmly. Loose pods cause most problems Charge the kit for at least 30 minutes Try a different IVG Smart Max refill pod Clean the pod contacts and the inside of the kit with a dry cloth If the LED flashes but you get no vapour, it's a pod connection issue How to refill IVG Smart 5500 / Smart Max: You can't refill these pods with your own e-liquid. They're sealed and prefilled at the factory. "How to refill" really means how to replace the pod: Pull the old pod straight out of the top of the kit Unwrap a fresh IVG Smart Max refill pod Push it into the kit until it clicks Wait 60 seconds for the coil to soak Inhale to vape If you had the older IVG Smart 5500, the Smart Max pods are the replacement. Same flavours, same fit, nearly double the puff count. Head to IVG Smart Max pods for the full range. How to remove IVG Smart pod: Grip the pod body (not the mouthpiece) and pull straight up. No twisting needed. IVG XL 35K: Setup and Troubleshooting Biggest kit in the IVG range. Approximately 35,000 puffs per refill pod. IVG XL 35K setup: Charge the kit fully before first use Unwrap the IVG XL 35K refill pod (2ml pod + two 10ml containers) Push the pod assembly into the kit until it clicks Wait 60 seconds for the coil to soak Inhale to vape IVG XL 35K how to switch pods: One pod at a time on this kit, not multiple like the 2400. Pull the current pod out and click a different one in to change flavours. IVG XL 35K only using one side / only one pod is empty: Two 10ml containers feed into one 2ml pod on the XL 35K. If one side looks empty and the other doesn't, the liquid is being drawn from one container first. Keep vaping and the second container will start feeding through. Completely normal. For replacement pods, head to IVG XL 35K refill pods. Charging Times and Tips for All IVG Kits [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_14] How long does each IVG kit take to charge? IVG Kit Battery Charge Time (approx.) IVG 2400 1,750mAh 45 to 60 minutes IVG Air 1,100mAh 30 to 45 minutes IVG Pro 12 1,000mAh 45 to 60 minutes IVG Smart Max 1,000mAh 30 to 45 minutes IVG XL 35K 1,000mAh 30 to 45 minutes Do you take the pod out when charging a vape? No. Leave the pod in while charging any IVG kit. Taking pods in and out can loosen the connection over time. How do you know when a vape is fully charged? On most IVG kits, the LED turns off or changes colour when charging is done. IVG Pro 12 shows a battery icon on screen. Don't leave any vape on the charger overnight. How many times can you charge a vape? Most rechargeable vape batteries last 300 to 500 charge cycles before the capacity starts dropping. For IVG kits, that's months of regular use. Charging safety: Any standard USB-C cable works fine Don't charge in direct sunlight or near heat Don't charge unattended overnight If the kit gets hot while charging, unplug it and let it cool IVG Pod Replacement: When and How to Swap Every IVG kit uses prefilled sealed pods. You can't open them or top them up with your own e-liquid. When a pod runs out, you swap the whole thing for a fresh one. Signs your IVG pod needs replacing: Flavour goes weak or tastes dry Less vapour than normal on each draw Draw feels tighter or hollow You can see the liquid level is low through the pod Last Update: February 12, 2026 Related products & ranges Shop all IVG IVG Pro refill pods IVG 2400 refills More vaping guides How to recharge a Lost Mary All about vape coils

Troubleshooting Your Vaporesso: Common Problems and How to Fix Them

Need a replacement? Browse Vaporesso kits and pods. If your Vaporesso has stopped working, won't charge, or is flashing lights at you, this guide covers every common issue and how to sort it. Each section starts with a quick check and then walks through the fix step by step. For specs on the kits referenced below, the Vaporesso XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, and XROS Pro 2 product pages have full details. Jump to your problem: Vaporesso not working At check error Not charging Flashing lights Not hitting or pulling Check atomizer error How to reset XROS 5 Mini not working Vibe not working Balance wire fault Vaporesso Not Working This is the most common issue we hear about. Your Vaporesso won't fire, there's no LED response, and nothing happens when you draw or press the button. Quick check before anything else: Make sure it's turned on. Five rapid clicks of the fire button turns most Vaporesso kits on and off. It's easy to pocket-lock without realising. Check the battery isn't dead. Plug it in for 15 minutes and try again. If the charging LED doesn't light up either. Check the pod is seated properly. Pull it out and push it back in until you feel the click. If it still won't work after those checks: Try a different Vaporesso pod. A faulty pod can stop the whole kit from firing, and swapping it is the quickest way to rule that out. Clean the pod contacts on both the pod and inside the battery well. Use a dry cotton bud to clear any e-liquid residue from the metal pins. Try a different USB-C cable and charge for at least 30 minutes. The cable that came with your phone might not deliver enough power. If your kit has a screen, check for error messages. "At check" and "check atomizer" both have their own sections below. Vaporesso not working after charging? This usually means the pod connection is the problem rather than the battery. Clean the contacts with a cotton bud, try a different pod, and make sure the pod's clicking in with no wobble. Vaporesso At Check Error "At check" shows on your Vaporesso screen when the kit can't detect the pod or coils properly. Some models display this as "check atomizer" instead. Both mean the same thing and the fixes are identical. What "at check" means: Your kit's checking the atomizer resistance and can't get a stable reading. This can be the pod, the coil, or the connection between them. How to fix at check on your Vaporesso: Pull the pod out and check for e-liquid on the base contacts. Wipe both the pod pins and the contacts inside the kit with a dry cloth. If you're using a tank with replaceable coils (Luxe XR Max 2, iTank T), unscrew the coil and screw it back in hand-tight. A loose coil gives an unstable reading. Try a different pod or coil. If the error clears with a new one, the original pod or coil was the problem. Check for liquid inside the 510 connection on sub-ohm kits. Use a twisted tissue to dry it out. At check on the XROS Pro 2: The Pro 2 shows this when the pod magnets aren't making clean contact. Pull the pod, wipe the base, and reseat it firmly. If it keeps coming back, the pod's seal may have warped. Try a fresh pod. Check on the Luxe XR Max 2: Usually the coil inside the pod. Push the coil in firmly and make sure there's no play when you wiggle it. Error Most Likely Cause First Fix At check Dirty pod contacts Clean contacts, reseat pod At check (tank) Loose coil Tighten coil hand-tight At check (persists) Faulty pod/coil Try a different pod or coil Vaporesso Not Charging Your Vaporesso is plugged in but nothing's happening. No charging light, no screen activity, or the light comes on but the battery never fills up. No charging light at all: Try a different USB-C cable. This fixes the problem more often than you'd expect. Not all cables carry enough current for fast charging. Try a different wall adapter or USB port. Some laptop USB ports don't supply enough power. Check the charging port for lint or pocket debris. Use a toothpick to gently clear anything blocking the connection. If the port looks damaged or loose, the USB connection may need repairing. Get in touch and we'll check options. Charging light comes on but battery won't fill: Leave it plugged in for at least 45 minutes. If the battery was completely flat, some kits take a while before the indicator updates. Try charging from a wall socket rather than a laptop or PC. Wall adapters give more consistent power. Charged but still not working: This usually means the battery is fine but the pod connection has an issue. Symptom Try This First No light when plugged in Different cable Light on, won't fill Wall adapter, wait 45 mins Charged but won't fire Clean pod contacts Red light flashing while charging Normal on some kits, means charging Vaporesso Flashing Lights and What They Mean Vaporesso vape kits use LED colours and flash patterns to tell you what's going on. The colour matches your current battery level: green means above 60%, blue is 30-60%, and red is below 30%. Here's what each pattern means. During normal vaping: The LED flashes in green, blue, or red while you draw. This just shows your battery level. Green is good, blue is getting there, red means charge soon. 3 flashes then the kit stops working: Three flashes in the current battery colour means the voltage is too low. Charge the kit. If it's already been on charge and still shows 3 flashes, the battery may be over-discharged. Leave it plugged in for at least 30 minutes before trying again. 5 flashes then the kit stops working: Five flashes is more serious. This can mean: Low resistance or short circuit: The pod or coil has an electrical fault. Remove the pod, check for liquid on the contacts, and try a different pod or coil. High temperature: The kit has overheated. Let it cool down for 10 minutes before trying again. No load or high resistance: The kit can't detect the pod. Clean the contacts and reseat the pod. 8-second timeout: You've been drawing for more than 8 seconds in one go. This is a safety cutoff. Take shorter draws. While charging: Red breathing (pulsing) light: Normal. The kit is charging. Solid green light: Fully charged. Unplug it. No light while plugged in: Try a different USB-C cable and adapter. 5 clicks of the fire button: The LED flashes to confirm the kit is turning on or off. Five rapid clicks toggles power on most Vaporesso models. Flash Pattern What It Means What to Do 3 flashes, stops working Low voltage Charge the kit 5 flashes, stops working Short circuit, no pod, or overheat Reseat or replace pod, let it cool Flashes during 8s draw Safety timeout Take shorter draws Red breathing while plugged in Charging normally Wait for green Solid green while plugged in Fully charged Unplug Green/blue/red during draw Battery level indicator Normal use No light at all Dead battery or fault Charge with different cable Vaporesso Not Hitting or Pulling You're drawing on your Vaporesso but getting little or no vapour. The LED might flash normally but nothing comes through. This is different from "not working" because the kit is responding, it's just not producing vapour. For draw-activated kits (XROS 5 Mini, Vibe): Check the airflow isn't blocked. On the XROS 5 Mini, make sure the airflow slider isn't fully closed. Draw more slowly. A sharp, hard pull can confuse the draw sensor. A steady two to three second inhale works better. Remove the pod and blow gently into the airflow slot to clear any condensation from the sensor. If the pod's nearly empty, the wicking can't keep up. Refill or swap the pod. For button-activated kits (XROS 5, XROS Pro 2, Luxe XR Max 2): Check the kit isn't locked. On most models, click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to lock or unlock. The power on/off function (5 clicks) still works while locked. If the screen shows a wattage but no vapour comes out, the coil may be burnt or flooded. Try a new pod or coil. Check the airflow is open. A fully closed airflow restricts vapour even though the coil is firing. Auto-draw not working on the XROS Pro 2: The Pro 2 has both button and draw activation. If auto-draw stops responding, the draw sensor may have liquid on it. Remove the pod, dry the inside of the battery well, and leave it to air for 10 minutes. Check Atomizer Error on Vaporesso "Check atomizer" is similar to "at check" but specifically means the kit can't read the coil resistance at all. You'll see this on screen-equipped models like the XROS 5, XROS 5 Nano, XROS Pro 2, and Armour Ultra. How to fix check atomizer: Remove the pod or tank completely. Wait five seconds and reinsert it. If you're using a sub-ohm tank, unscrew the coil and check the o-rings. A missing or damaged o-ring can break the electrical contact. Clean the 510 connection (the threaded part on top of the mod) with a twisted tissue. E-liquid in here causes false readings. Try a different coil. If the error clears, the old coil is dead. Check atomizer on the XROS 5 Nano: The Nano's touchscreen shows this when the pod magnets aren't aligned. Push the pod in firmly and make sure it's centred, not sitting at an angle. Short atomizer: The coil resistance is reading too low for the kit to fire safely. It's usually a damaged coil. Replace it with a fresh one. Error Message What It Means Fix Check atomizer Can't read coil Reseat pod/coil, clean contacts Short atomizer Coil resistance too low Replace coil No atomizer No pod/coil detected Insert pod, check connection How to Reset Your Vaporesso A reset clears glitchy behaviour, resets the puff counter, or fixes a kit that's stuck on a weird setting. The method depends on which kit you've got. XROS 5 (screen model): Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to enter the mode settings menu. Use the fire button to cycle through options. Wait 3 seconds to save and exit. To reset the puff counter on the XROS 5, click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds. Select YES when prompted and wait 3 seconds to confirm. XROS 5 Nano (touchscreen): The Nano has a RESTORE option integrated into its touchscreen menu. Navigate to settings and select RESTORE to return the kit to factory defaults. XROS Pro 2 (screen model): Click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds to enter the puff reset screen. Click the fire button to choose YES or NO. Wait 3 seconds to exit. For full settings changes, click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to enter the mode menu. XROS 5 Mini (no screen): The Mini doesn't have a traditional reset since it's draw-activated only with no buttons or menus. If it's misbehaving, remove the pod, plug it in to confirm it charges, then reinsert the pod. That's the closest thing to a reset on this kit. Luxe XR Max 2: Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to access the settings menu. Navigate using the up and down buttons. Armour Ultra and other AXON chip mods: Click the fire button 5 times to turn off, then 5 times to turn back on. For mode settings, click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds and use the adjustment buttons to navigate. The Armour Ultra also has a physical lock slider on the side for quick locking without button presses. Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini Not Working If you are troubleshooting the previous-generation model instead, the Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini page covers spec details and pod fitment for that older device. The XROS 5 Mini is draw-activated only with no fire button and no screen. That makes troubleshooting slightly different because you can't see error messages or manually fire the coil. LED doesn't light up at all: Charge it for at least 20 minutes using a different cable from the one you've been using. If the LED still doesn't appear during charging, the battery may have failed. Get in touch about a replacement. LED lights up but no vapour: The pod isn't seated properly. Pull it out and push it back in firmly until you feel the magnetic click. Clean the contacts on both the pod base and inside the kit with a dry cotton bud. Try a different pod. If a new pod works, the old one was the issue. Draw more slowly. The XROS 5 Mini's draw sensor needs a steady, gentle pull rather than a sharp inhale. LED flashes but cuts out mid-draw: The battery's low. Charge it up. If it cuts out with a full charge, the draw sensor may have liquid on it. Remove the pod and let the kit air dry for 15 minutes with the pod slot facing down. XROS 5 Mini stopped working suddenly: Usually one of two things. Either the battery's completely flat (charge it), or e-liquid has reached the draw sensor through the pod contacts (clean and dry everything). Vaporesso Vibe Not Working The Vibe SE and Vibe Nano are draw-activated pod kits that get a lot of "pod check" errors. Vibe pod check error: Pull the pod out and check for liquid around the contacts. Wipe the pod base and the inside of the kit with a tissue. Push the pod back in until it clicks firmly. If "pod check" keeps showing, try a different pod. The contacts on the original may be worn. Vibe SE not working: Charge it first. The Vibe SE has a small battery, so it runs flat quickly with heavy use. If the LED flashes red when you draw, it's out of charge. If no lights appear at all, try a different cable and adapter. Vibe SE flashing red: Red flashing on the Vibe usually means low battery. Plug it in. If it flashes red while charging and then stops, the charge may have completed. Try drawing on it. Vaporesso Balance Wire Fault This error appears on dual-battery Vaporesso mods like the Armour Max and older Gen series. It means the mod has detected a voltage difference between the two batteries. What it means: Your two batteries aren't at the same charge level. This is a safety warning because mismatched batteries can cause problems. How to fix it: Remove both batteries and charge them externally in a dedicated battery charger until both are fully charged. Always use a matched pair of batteries. Same brand, same age, same capacity. Don't mix old and new batteries. If you only have one battery charger bay, charge one at a time and make sure both reach full charge before reinserting. If the error keeps appearing with fully charged matched batteries, one of the batteries may be degraded. Replace both as a pair. Note: This error only applies to dual-battery mods with removable batteries. If you're using a kit with a integrated battery like the Armour Ultra or any of the XROS 5 range, you won't see this message. Don't ignore the warning if it does appear on an older mod. Mismatched batteries can reduce performance and potentially cause safety issues. Vaporesso XROS Series Buying Guide: Which Model to Pick | Ecigone

Skip to shopping: browse the full Vaporesso XROS range - or read on to pick your model. This is a buying guide for the Vaporesso XROS series. The current lineup has four kits based around the same pod platform - the XROS 5, the XROS 5 Mini, the XROS 5 Nano, and the XROS Pro 2. Every model takes the same XROS pods from 0.4 ohm to 1.2 ohm, charges over USB-C, and handles both nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids. The difference comes down to battery size, screens, controls, and how much you want to tinker with settings. This guide walks through each one so you can figure out which XROS suits how you vape. We'll cover specs, pods, and the key differences between all four before you buy. You can also see every current kit, pod, and accessory together on the wider XROS lineup page. The Current XROS Lineup Vaporesso refreshed the XROS range in 2025 with three new kits and an upgraded Pro model. Here's what you're choosing between right now. Model Battery Screen Activation Modes XROS 5 1500mAh 0.88" colour Draw + button Smart, Normal, Power, Eco XROS 5 Mini 1500mAh LED only Draw only Smart (auto) XROS 5 Nano 1600mAh 1.09" touchscreen Draw + button Eco, Normal, Power XROS Pro 2 2000mAh 0.96" TFT Draw + button Wattage control (0.1W) All four take the same COREX 3.0 pods from 0.4 ohm up to 1.2 ohm, and older COREX 2.0 pods still fit too. All four ship with COREX 3.0 in the box. Every one of them charges over USB-C with fast charging as standard. XROS 5 - the everyday all-rounder The XROS 5 is the middle ground of the range. You get a 0.88 inch colour screen, a fire button and auto draw, plus four power modes to pick from. Battery's 1500mAh, which is 50% bigger than the old XROS 4 and lasts most people a full day on MTL. Four modes give you some control without overcomplicating it. Smart reads your pod and sorts the wattage on its own. Normal lets you set it yourself between 15W and 30W. Power cranks the output up for more flavour. Eco dials it back to stretch battery life when you're running low. Two COREX 3.0 pods in the box at 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm. The 0.6 suits a looser RDL draw on 50/50 juice and the 0.8 gives a tighter MTL pull on nic salts. USB-C 3A charging hits 80% in about 20 minutes. Fourteen colours available across leather, silk, opal, and carbon finishes. If you want a screen and some manual control but don't need the full wattage precision of the Pro 2, this is the one. XROS 5 Mini - the compact option The XROS 5 Mini strips it right back. There's no screen, no buttons, and you can't change the wattage yourself. You fill a pod, slot it in, and inhale. Smart Mode handles everything automatically by reading the pod resistance and picking the right wattage. Battery's the same 1500mAh as the full XROS 5, which gives you a full day on MTL without thinking about it. One COREX 3.0 pod in the box at 0.8 ohm. The airflow slider on the side is the only manual control you've got. Tighten it right down for MTL or open it up for a looser RDL draw. USB-C 2A charging gets you to 80% in 20 minutes. Fourteen colours here too, including some leather edition finishes. This is the one for anyone who's switching from disposables or just doesn't want to mess about with settings. XROS 5 Nano - the pocket pick The XROS 5 Nano is the odd one out because it weighs 86g and has a 1.09 inch touchscreen. That's a real touchscreen at 311 PPI, not just an LED indicator. You swipe through 29 wallpapers, check battery percentage, and swap between three power modes without pressing any buttons. This battery is actually the biggest of the three XROS 5 models at 1600mAh. Eco stretches it over a full day, and even on Power mode most vapers get through to evening. Two COREX 3.0 pods come in the box at 0.4 ohm and 0.8 ohm, so you've got an RDL and MTL option straight away. Eight colours available on the Nano, fewer than the other XROS 5 models. If you want the lightest kit in the range with a full touchscreen, this is it. The touchscreen takes a minute to get used to compared to button controls, but once you've figured out the swipe gestures it's quick to navigate. XROS Pro 2 - the premium choice The XROS Pro 2 is the one you go for when battery life matters more than anything else. 2000mAh is the biggest in the XROS range by a long way and most vapers get two to three days between charges. It's also the only XROS with wattage control down to 0.1W increments, giving you the most precise output of the four. The 0.96 inch TFT screen shows wattage, resistance, puffs, and battery level. Super Pulse mode is the key thing here. It monitors battery voltage and adjusts output automatically so your first puff matches your last. Your vape stays consistent at 5% battery the same as it does at 100%, with no weak hits as the charge drops. Made from aerospace alloy at just 65g despite the 2000mAh battery, and it comes with two COREX 3.0 pods at 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm. Seven colours to pick from and a slide lock on the side stops it firing in your pocket. If you vape heavily or just hate charging, the Pro 2 is the clear pick. XROS Pods: What Fits What Every kit in the current XROS range takes the same pods. You don't need to worry about buying the wrong one. Pod Ohm Style E-Liquid All 4 Kits COREX 3.0 0.4 RDL 50/50 Yes COREX 3.0 0.6 RDL 50/50 Yes COREX 3.0 0.8 MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 2.0 0.8 MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 2.0 1.2 Tight MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 3.0 is the newer pod with improved replacement coils. Flavour lasts longer and airflow's smoother than the 2.0 versions. If you've got old COREX 2.0 pods lying around they still fit in all four kits, so nothing goes to waste. If you're not sure which resistance to start with, the nic salt strengths guide covers which strength works best with each pod. And our MTL vs DTL vs RDL guide explains the different draw styles if you're not sure which one you prefer. XROS 5 vs XROS Pro 2 This is the comparison most people are weighing up. Both have screens, both have button activation, and both take the same pods. The differences come down to battery, precision, and size. Spec XROS 5 XROS Pro 2 Battery 1500mAh 2000mAh Screen 0.88" colour 0.96" TFT Wattage Control Mode-based (Smart/Normal/Power/Eco) Manual 0.1W increments Charging 3A (80% in 20 mins) USB-C (full in under 30 mins) Weight 68g 65g Super Pulse No Yes Colours 14 7 The XROS 5 gives you four preset modes and a smaller colour screen. For most vapers that's more than enough control. The Pro 2 steps it up with 0.1W wattage adjustments, Super Pulse for consistent output across the full charge, and 500mAh more battery. Pick the XROS 5 if you want something straightforward with enough options to tweak. Go Pro 2 if battery life and precise wattage control are top of your list. XROS 5 vs XROS 5 Mini Both share the same 1500mAh battery, but that's about where the similarities end. The XROS 5 has a screen, four power modes, and dual activation with a fire button. The Mini has no screen, one auto mode, and draw activation only. If you like adjusting wattage and seeing your stats on screen, that rules the Mini out. The Mini's the better shout for simplicity though. You don't have settings to configure or modes to cycle through. Smart Mode reads the pod and does it all on its own. It's the closest thing to a disposable experience you can get from a refillable kit, and that's exactly who it's aimed at. People switching from disposable vapes tend to find the Mini easier to get on with because there's nothing to learn. XROS 5 Nano vs XROS 5 Mini The Nano weighs 86g and has a touchscreen. The Mini doesn't have a screen at all. That's the biggest gap between these two. Both are compact kits aimed at people who want something small and portable. The Nano gives you three power modes and a battery percentage readout on the touchscreen. The Mini gives you Smart Mode and an LED that tells you roughly how much charge you've got left. If you want to check your exact battery level or swap between Eco and Power mode depending on your day, the Nano handles that. If you'd rather just inhale and not think about it, the Mini keeps it simpler. Which XROS Pod Should I Use? People get confused about this one, especially with COREX 2.0 and 3.0 both available. COREX 3.0 pods are the newer version and they're what Vaporesso ship in every current kit. They last longer before the flavour drops off and the airflow is smoother through the mesh coil. If you're buying replacement pods now, stick with the COREX 3.0 versions. For the resistance itself, it depends how you vape. The 0.8 ohm is the most popular because it gives a tight MTL draw that works well with 10mg and 20mg nic salts. The 0.6 ohm is looser for people who like a bit more vapour on 50/50 juice. The 0.4 ohm is the loosest draw in the range for full RDL vaping. If you're coming from a disposable, start with the 0.8 ohm COREX 3.0 and 20mg nic salt. It's the closest match to the draw you're used to. Still Available: XROS 4 Range The XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini are still in the sale section while stock lasts. They won't be restocked once they've sold through. Pods are the same across both generations, so picking up a discounted XROS 4 kit won't leave you stuck for replacement pods later. Vaporesso XROS 4 vs XROS 5: What's Actually Different?

Ready to buy? Get the Vaporesso XROS 5 or the Vaporesso XROS 4 - or see what is actually different below. If you're weighing up the Vaporesso XROS 5 against the Vaporesso XROS 4, this guide walks through what's actually changed between the two generations in 2025. The kits look almost identical sitting next to each other - same shape, same general size, near enough swappable on a shelf. The differences are where you use them day to day. I've had both on rotation for a while. From the Vaporesso XROS vape series, the 5 brings genuine upgrades in the places that matter for daily use. Whether they're worth it depends on what's bugging you about your current setup. Battery and Charging This is the big one. The XROS 4 runs a 1000mAh battery with 2A USB-C charging. Full charge takes about 30 minutes, and I'd get through most of a day on normal use before it needed topping up. Heavy chain vaping sessions? I was reaching for the cable by mid-afternoon. XROS 5 bumps that to 1500mAh with 3A fast charging. Vaping360 tested a full charge at 26 minutes, which matches what I've seen. The extra 500mAh sounds modest on paper but it's a 50% increase. I'm comfortably getting a full day out of it, sometimes stretching into the next morning if I'm not hammering it. The charging speed is where it gets silly. Ten minutes plugged in while you're making a brew gives you enough for hours. COREX 2.0 vs 3.0 Pods Both kits use Vaporesso XROS pods and every pod in the range works in either device. So you're not locked in. The XROS 4 shipped with COREX 2.0 pods. Solid flavour, reliable, lasted me about a week per pod with sweet liquids. XROS 5 introduced COREX 3.0. The Hive Mesh coils structure spreads heat more evenly and the upgraded cotton wicks faster. In practice: cleaner flavour that holds up longer before dropping off, and fewer dry hits when the liquid gets low. I'm getting a couple of extra days per pod compared to 2.0 on the same juice. Here's the thing though - you can pick up COREX 3.0 pods separately and use them in your XROS 4. You get most of the flavour improvement without buying a new kit. The XROS 5 does seem to squeeze a bit more out of them, but the pods themselves are the bigger upgrade. Older COREX 2.0 pods still fit both kits, so spares don't go to waste. Screen and Display The XROS 4 doesn't have a screen. It uses coloured LED indicators - green, blue, red - for battery level and power mode. Functional but basic. You learn to read the colours after a few days. XROS 5 has a 0.88-inch colour screen showing battery percentage, wattage, pod resistance, puff count, and six theme options. It's small but sharp. I didn't think I'd care about having a screen on a pod kit but checking exact battery percentage instead of guessing from LED colours is genuinely handy. Power Modes and Wattage Both max out at 30W. Both have Eco, Normal, and Power presets. The difference: the XROS 5 unlocks precise wattage control in 0.5W steps when you slot in a 0.4Ω pod. Every other pod resistance gives you the same three presets as the XROS 4. So if you're using the 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω pods with nic salt e-liquids, the power control is functionally identical between the two kits. The XROS 5 also holds power more consistently as the battery drains. With the XROS 4, I'd notice weaker hits once it dropped below about 30%. The 5 keeps hitting the same right until it dies. Airflow Both have the sliding airflow adjuster on the back. Both cover MTL through to restricted DTL. The XROS 5's slider moves more smoothly and has more usable positions between tight and open. It's not a dramatic difference. But if you're fussy about dialling in your exact draw - and a lot of ex-smokers are - the 5 gives you finer control. XROS 4 Mini vs XROS 5 Mini The Minis follow the same pattern as the full-size kits but stripped back. No screen, no fire button, draw-activated only. XROS 4 Mini XROS 5 Mini Battery 1000mAh 1500mAh Charging 1A USB-C 2A USB-C Pods COREX 2.0 included COREX 3.0 included Max output 30W 30W Airflow Adjustable slider Adjustable slider Screen LED indicators LED indicators Same 50% battery jump. Charging is faster on the 5 Mini too, though not as quick as the full-size XROS 5 since it uses 2A instead of 3A. If you want the simplest possible vape with no screen and no buttons, the Mini range is where to look. Where Does the XROS Pro 2 Fit? If battery life is your main thing, the XROS Pro 2 is worth knowing about. It has a 2000mAh battery into a body that weighs just 65g thanks to a magnesium alloy shell. That's the biggest battery in any stick-style pod kit I've seen. It charges at 2A (slower than the XROS 5's 3A) and takes about 50-60 minutes for a full charge. But you're charging less often, so it balances out. It has a 0.96-inch colour screen, the same COREX 3.0 pods, and Vaporesso added puff tracking with daily and weekly charts if you're trying to keep an eye on your usage. The Pro 2 is positioned above the XROS 5 in the range. If you don't want to think about charging for a full day or more, it's the one to look at. If the XROS 5's battery gets you through the day comfortably, save yourself the difference. Which Should You Buy? Upgrading from XROS 4? If the battery annoys you, the XROS 5 fixes it. If the XROS 4 does the job and you want better flavour, just pick up COREX 3.0 pods for it and save the money. First refillable pod kit? The XROS 5 is the smarter starting point. Better battery, better pods in the box, the screen is useful, and it'll age better. The XROS 4 is still a solid kit if you find it on sale. Want maximum battery? XROS Pro 2. Nothing else in this form factor matches 2000mAh at 65g. Prefer no screen, no fuss? XROS 5 Mini. Same battery as the full XROS 5, simpler operation. If you'd rather weigh up the whole Vaporesso XROS pod kit range in one place, the family page lays the four current kits and both pod generations side by side. For the latest specs and pricing, see the Vaporesso XROS 5 and Vaporesso XROS 4 product pages. How to Use the XROS 5: Settings, Controls and Setup Guide

Want the kit? Shop the Vaporesso XROS 5 and XROS pods. This is a step-by-step how-to guide for the Vaporesso XROS 5. Every button combo, every mode, and every setting for the XROS 5 and XROS 5 Mini kit - all verified against the official Vaporesso manual. If you're looking for the wider XROS series, you can explore the full Vaporesso XROS range. Jump to a section: Turn on and off Button functions quick reference Modes explained: NOR, PWR, ECO How to change wattage How to fill and refill pods How to empty a pod Airflow settings Screen, themes, and animation How to lock and unlock Puff counter and clear puff Charging and battery indicators XROS 5 Mini setup What e-liquid to use How long pods last How to Turn On and Off the XROS 5 Five clicks of the fire button within 2 seconds. That's it. The screen lights up and you're good to go. The same 5 clicks turns it back off. Once it's on, you've got two ways to vape. Hold the fire button while you inhale, or just draw on the mouthpiece without touching anything - the auto-draw kicks in on its own. XROS 5 Mini: No fire button on the Mini at all. Just inhale and the LED lights up. Nothing to turn on or off. Button Functions One button does everything on the XROS 5. The number of clicks within 2 seconds determines what happens: Clicks Function 1 click Fire the replacement coils (hold while inhaling) 2 clicks Change screen theme (6 themes available) 3 clicks Change mode (NOR/PWR/ECO) or adjust wattage (0.4Ω pod) 4 clicks Open the settings menu (lock, button on/off, animate, puff clear) 5 clicks Turn the kit on or off That 4-click settings menu is where most of the deeper options live - screen lock, button activation toggle, animation on/off, and puff counter reset. Once you're in, click to cycle through options and hold for 2 seconds to confirm. Modes Explained: What NOR, PWR and ECO Mean This is the one we get asked about most. You'll see three letters on your XROS 5 screen - NOR, PWR, or ECO. If nobody's told you what they stand for, it's not exactly obvious. NOR just means Normal. That's the default. Mode What It Does NOR Normal mode. Balanced power and battery life. PWR Power mode. Higher output for warmer vapour and more clouds. ECO Eco mode. Lower output to extend battery life. Cooler, lighter vape. How to change modes: Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds. The screen flashes the current mode. Click the fire button again to cycle through NOR → PWR → ECO. Stop clicking when you've landed on the mode you want. Wait 3 seconds and the kit saves your selection. Which mode should you use? Start on NOR. Most people stay there. PWR is worth trying if you want more warmth or vapour, and ECO is handy when you're out all day and can't charge. Note: These three modes only appear when you're using 0.6Ω, 0.7Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, or 1.2Ω pods. If you're using a 0.4Ω pod, the 3-click shortcut gives you direct wattage control instead. How to Change Wattage This depends on which pod you've got in. With 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω pods: There's no specific wattage number to set. You pick between NOR, PWR, and ECO using the 3-click method above, and the kit handles the wattage for you based on your pod's resistance. With 0.4Ω pods (up to 30W): Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds. The screen shows the current wattage. Click the fire button to increase the wattage. Wait 3 seconds to save. The 0.4Ω pod lets you fine-tune output up to 30W, giving you more control over warmth and vapour than the three preset modes. How to Fill and Refill the Kit Same process on both the XROS 5 and Mini - they share the same XROS COREX 3.0 pods. Pull the black mouthpiece upward to detach it from the pod. It clicks off. Look for the fill hole next to the centre chimney. The fill hole is about 3.5mm wide. Place your e-liquid nozzle into the fill hole and squeeze gently. Fill until the liquid is near the top, but leave a small gap. Push the mouthpiece back on firmly until it clicks shut. Wait 5 minutes before your first draw. This lets the cotton soak up the liquid inside the coil. Don't fill through the centre hole. That's the airflow chimney, not the fill port. If liquid goes down there, you'll get gurgling and spitting. How to refill: Top up whenever the liquid drops below the wicking holes on the side of the pod. Keeping the level above the holes prevents dry hits and burnt cotton. You don't need to empty the pod before topping up. How to prime a new pod: Fill it and leave it to soak for 5 minutes. Then take a few gentle draws without pressing the fire button. This pulls liquid into the coil and prevents a burnt taste on your first real hit. How to Empty a XROS 5 Pod Switching flavours? You'll want to drain the old liquid out first. Pull the XROS pod out of the kit. Remove the mouthpiece by pulling it upward. Turn the pod upside down over a tissue or sink and let the liquid drain out through the fill hole. Wrap the pod in tissue and blow gently through the base to push out any remaining liquid from the coil area. Let the pod dry for a few minutes before refilling with a different flavour. Mixing leftover liquid with a new flavour won't damage anything. The taste will be muddled for the first few draws until the old liquid works through. Airflow Settings There's a slider on the back of both the XROS 5 and Mini. Move it to change how tight or loose the draw feels. Slide left (fully open): Loose, airy draw. More vapour, less throat hit. Closer to a direct-lung vape. Slide right (fully closed): Tight draw. Stronger throat hit, less vapour. Closer to a cigarette. Somewhere in the middle: Most people land here. Start halfway and adjust from there. XROS 5 Mini airflow: Works the same way. Same toggle, same range of adjustment. One thing to watch: don't close the airflow all the way. Fully shut, the pod can't draw liquid into the coil fast enough, and you'll get dry hits. Screen: Themes, Display and Animation The 0.88-inch screen on the XROS 5 has a lot into a small space. Here's what you're looking at and how to change it. How to change the screen theme: Click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds. The screen cycles to the next theme. Keep double-clicking to cycle through all 6 options. Stop on the one you want and it saves automatically. What the screen shows: Display Element What It Means NOR / PWR / ECO Current power mode Wattage number (0.4Ω pod only) Current power output in watts Ω number (e.g. 0.8Ω) Resistance of the inserted pod Battery bar Remaining battery level Puff number Total puffs since last reset How to turn animation on or off: Tap the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to open settings. Navigate to Settings. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to confirm. Navigate to the animation toggle and hold for 2 seconds to switch it on or off. Turning animation off can help save a small amount of battery life. How to Lock and Unlock the Device There are actually two separate locks on the XROS 5, which trips people up a bit. Screen lock (stops accidental settings changes): Click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds. Select SCREEN LOCK from the menu. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to lock. The power on/off function (5 clicks) still works while locked. To unlock, click the fire button 4 times again. Button lock (disables the fire button but keeps draw activation): Press the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds. Select BUTTON ON/OFF. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to toggle. With button activation off, you can still vape by drawing on the mouthpiece. The 5-click on/off function still works even with the button locked. The button lock is the one most people want. Stop the kit firing in your pocket while still letting you vape through draw activation when you take it out. Puff Counter and Clear Puff Your screen keeps a running tally of every puff since the counter was last cleared. What clear puff means: It just resets that number back to zero. Nothing else changes - your mode, wattage, and all other settings stay exactly as they were. How to reset the puff counter: Click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to open settings. Navigate to Settings, then hold the fire button for 2 seconds. Select the puff clear option. Confirm by clicking the fire button. It's purely a personal tracker. Clearing it won't touch your power or mode settings. Charging the Kit Both kits have a 1500mAh battery and charge through USB-C. Plug in, and you'll see the charge status straight away. Plug the included USB-C cable into the port on the bottom of the kit. Connect the other end to a wall adapter or USB port. The screen shows the charge percentage in real time (XROS 5) or the LED breathes red (Mini). 100% on screen or a solid green LED means fully charged. How to tell when your Vaporesso is charged: Indicator XROS 5 XROS 5 Mini Charging Screen shows percentage LED breathes red Fully charged Screen shows 100% LED stays solid green Low battery Red battery bar on screen LED flashes red when drawing Any standard USB-C cable works fine. Just avoid those fast-charge phone adapters - they push more power than the kit's made for. Setting Up the XROS 5 Mini The Mini is the stripped-back version. There's no screen, no fire button, and modes aren't adjustable. You inhale, it fires. That's the whole thing. First-time setup: Remove the sticker from the pre-installed pod if it's your first time using the kit. Pull the pod out and remove the mouthpiece. Fill the pod through the fill hole (not the centre chimney). Replace the mouthpiece and push the pod back into the kit. Wait 5 minutes for the coil to soak. Inhale through the mouthpiece. The LED will flash to show the kit is working. Mini LED colours: Green means the battery is above 60%. Blue means 30-60%. Red means below 30% and it's time to charge. Mini airflow: Same slider on the back as the XROS 5. Slide left for a looser draw, right for a tighter draw. The Mini uses the same XROS COREX 3.0 pods as the standard XROS 5. If you own both kits, you can swap pods between them. What E-Liquid to Use Thinner liquids work best. Thick, high-VG juice can't wick fast enough in a pod coil, so you'll end up with dry hits. E-Liquid Type Works With XROS 5? Best For Nic salts (50/50) Yes, ideal Smooth throat hit, higher nicotine strengths (10-20mg) 50/50 freebase Yes Lower nicotine strengths (3-6mg), good flavour 70/30 or higher VG Not recommended Too thick for XROS pods, can cause dry hits If you're switching from disposables, start with a nic salt at 10mg or 20mg. That's the closest match to what disposables use. For more on pairing flavours with the XROS 5, see our best e-liquids for the XROS 5 guide. How Long Do XROS 5 Pods Last? Depends on how much you vape and what liquid you're using. Here's a rough guide: Usage Level Approximate Pod Life Heavy (refilling 1-2 times daily) 4-7 days Moderate (refilling every other day) 7-14 days Light (refilling twice a week) 2-3 weeks Sweet and dessert flavours tend to shorten pod life because the sweeteners coat the coil faster. Fruit and menthol flavours are generally kinder on coils. When to change your pod: The flavour drops off, you get a slight burnt taste, or vapour production decreases. The liquid looking darker than when you filled it is another sign. Replacement pods come in packs with different resistance options across the COREX 3.0 and COREX 2.0 ranges. The 0.8Ω is best for a tighter, cigarette-style draw. The 0.6Ω gives a slightly looser draw with more vapour. Both pod generations fit every kit in the Vaporesso XROS pod kit line, so spares carry across if you ever upgrade. Kit Not Working? If your XROS 5 has stopped working, won't charge, or is showing error messages, we've written a separate troubleshooting guide covering every common problem. What’s the Difference Between BM600 & BM6000 Lost Mary Vapes?

Ready to buy? Get the Lost Mary BM6000 or the Lost Mary BM600. The Lost Mary Lost Mary BM600 vape kit and BM6000 pod kit are both prefilled pod kits from the Lost Mary collection but they're built for different vapers. One's a compact 600 puff kit that fits in any pocket. The other uses a reserve container to stretch a single refill pack to approximately 6,000 puffs. Both replaced Lost Mary's old disposable vapes after the UK ban in June 2025. They share the same flavour range, the same 20mg nic salt e-liquid, and the same draw activated setup with no buttons or settings. The differences come down to size, battery, puff count, and how the pods work. This guide breaks down exactly how the two compare so you can work out which one fits the way you vape. Lost Mary BM600 vs BM6000 Comparison [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_18] Here's how the two kits stack up side by side: Spec BM600 BM6000 Approx Puff Count 600 6,000 Pod Capacity 2ml 2ml pod + 10ml reserve container Battery 750mAh 1,000mAh Charging USB-C USB-C Nicotine Strength 20mg nic salt 20mg nic salt Coil Type Mesh Mesh Draw Type MTL, draw activated MTL, draw activated Screen No (LED indicator) Yes (battery percentage) Size Smaller, lighter Slightly larger Refill Method Swap whole pod Swap pod + reserve container The BM600 is the simpler kit. One pod, one battery, nothing else to think about. The BM6000 has more going on with its reserve container, but it lasts roughly ten times longer between pod changes. What Does BM6000 Mean? The BM in Lost Mary's naming stands for their product line. The number after it refers to the approximate puff count. A BM600 gives you around 600 puffs per pod. A BM6000 gives you around 6,000 puffs per refill pack. The original BM600 and BM6000 were single use disposable vapes. After the UK disposable ban in June 2025, Lost Mary kept the same names but turned them into rechargeable prefilled pod kits. The names carried over, but the products are completely different now. You might also see references to the BM8000 and BM10000 Vision online. These are newer Lost Mary vapes with higher puff counts that follow the same naming pattern. How Does the Lost Mary BM6000 Work? The BM6000 uses a reserve container setup to get around the UK's 2ml TPD limit on pod capacity. Here's how it works. The kit comes with a 2ml pod and a separate 10ml e-liquid container. The container connects to the pod and tops it up on its own as you vape. You don't need to fill anything yourself. The e-liquid moves from the container into the pod gradually, keeping the pod topped up until the container runs dry. That's how you get approximately 6,000 puffs from a 2ml pod. The pod itself only holds 2ml at any one time, but the reserve container feeds it another 10ml over the life of the refill pack. Setting up a new BM6000 refill pack: Take the silicone plug off the pod Slot the pod into the kit Push the e-liquid container in until it clicks Wait 3 to 5 minutes for the pod to soak Start vaping The kit is draw activated. No buttons, no power settings, no menus. You inhale and it fires on its own. How Does the Lost Mary BM600 Work? The BM600 is more straightforward. There's no reserve container. You get a single 2ml prefilled pod that slots into a rechargeable battery. When the pod runs out after approximately 600 puffs, you pull it out and click in a fresh one. That's it. Setup is the same idea as the BM6000 but without the container step. Remove the plug, slot the pod in, wait a few minutes, and you're vaping. Draw activated, no buttons, no settings. The BM600 is closer to how a disposable vape worked. One pod, use it until it's empty, swap it for a new one. The only difference is you're keeping the battery and just changing the pod. How Long Does the Lost Mary BM6000 Last? The BM6000 refill pack gives you approximately 6,000 puffs. How long that lasts in days depends on how much you vape. Vaping Frequency Approx Days Per Refill Pack Light (under 200 puffs a day) 4+ weeks Moderate (200 to 400 puffs a day) 2 to 4 weeks Heavy (400+ puffs a day) 1 to 2 weeks Puff counts are always approximate and vary based on draw length and vaping style. Longer draws use more e-liquid per puff, so heavy vapers with long draws will get fewer total puffs. The 1,000mAh battery lasts a full day for most vapers before it needs charging. It charges through USB-C and takes roughly an hour from flat to full. The BM600 lasts for approximately 600 puffs per pod. For most vapers that's one to three days depending on usage. The 750mAh battery is enough to get through a full pod before it needs a charge. What Nicotine Strength Are Lost Mary BM6000 and BM600 Pods? Both the BM6000 refill pods and BM600 refills use 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid. That's the only strength available across both ranges right now. 20mg nic salt gives a smooth throat hit without the harshness you sometimes get with freebase nicotine at the same strength. It's the same level that was in the original Lost Mary disposables, so if you used those before the ban, the nicotine hit will feel the same. There are no 10mg, 5mg, or 0mg options for either kit yet. If you want a lower nicotine strength, a refillable pod kit with nic salt e-liquid at 10mg or 0mg shortfill gives you that flexibility. Which Lost Mary Kit Should You Get? It depends on how you vape and what matters most to you. If the smaller device suits your style, you can buy the Lost Mary BM600 vape kit directly. The BM600 suits you if: You're a lighter vaper who doesn't go through much e-liquid in a day You want the smallest, most pocket friendly option You liked the size and shape of the old 600 puff disposables You don't mind swapping pods more often The BM6000 suits you if: You vape regularly throughout the day and want fewer pod changes You'd rather carry one refill pack that lasts a week or more You want a battery percentage screen so you know exactly when to charge You prefer the longer lasting setup even if it's slightly bigger The vaping experience is very similar between the two. The BM6000 lasts longer between changes and has a bigger battery capacity compared to the BM600. You can view the full range of Lost Mary pods, and which devices the pods are compatible with. For vapers who want even more puff count from Lost Mary, the Nera 30K goes further with approximately 15,000 puffs per pod side and a full view screen. Our switching from disposables guide covers all the options if you're still working out what to go for. Are Lost Mary Pods The Best Choice For Nicotine Free Vapers?

Going nicotine free? Browse 0% shortfill e-liquids and refillable kits. Lost Mary zero nicotine options exist in only one corner of the range. The Lost Mary BM6000 has 0mg refill pods and 10mg refill pods on selected flavours, and Ecigone is bringing the 0mg BM6000 kit and 0mg pods into stock. Every other Lost Mary kit and pod on UK sale, including the Nera 30K, Pro Max 7000, BM600, Hawcos Crystal Pro, Tappo, and 4-in-1, is 20mg nicotine salt only. That leaves nicotine-free vapers with two routes. The first is the new BM6000 0mg lineup once it lands in stock at Ecigone. The second is a refillable pod kit paired with 0mg shortfill e-liquid, which works today and gives access to the wider 0mg flavour market. This guide covers what nicotine each Lost Mary kit contains, which BM6000 flavours are on sale at 0mg and 10mg, and how to pick the right route for nicotine-free vaping. Do Lost Mary Pods Have Nicotine? Yes for most of the range, with one exception. The Lost Mary BM6000 has 0mg and 10mg refill pods available on selected flavours. Every other Lost Mary kit, including the Nera 30K, Pro Max 7000, BM600, Hawcos Crystal Pro, Tappo, and 4-in-1, is 20mg nicotine salt only. The 0mg BM6000 refill pods come in 5 flavours: Blueberry, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, and Strawberry Ice. The 0mg refill pod and refill container set is designed to deliver approximately 6,000 puffs (varies by usage and draw style), the same as the 20mg version. The 10mg BM6000 refill pods cover selected flavours across the BM6000 kit and pod range. The 10mg flavours are Blueberry, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, and Strawberry Ice - the same 5 flavours as the 0mg lineup, available in both the BM6000 kit and refill pod packs. Nicotine breakdown by Lost Mary kit range: Range Nicotine Strength Nicotine Type Approximate Puffs BM6000 0mg, 10mg, 20mg (selected flavours) Nic salt 6,000 per refill pod Nera 30K 20mg Nic salt 15,000 per refill pod (30,000 total in the kit) Pro Max 7000 20mg Nic salt 7,000 per refill pod BM600 20mg Nic salt 600 per pod Hawcos Crystal Pro 20mg Nic salt 600 per pod Tappo 20mg Nic salt Varies by pod 4-in-1 20mg Nic salt Varies by pod The 20mg figure holds across the Nera 30K, Pro Max 7000, BM600, Hawcos Crystal Pro, Tappo, and 4-in-1. The BM6000 is the only Lost Mary kit where 0mg and 10mg refill pods are available, and only on selected flavours. The wider Lost Mary pod range sits at 20mg by default. Is There a Nicotine Free Lost Mary? Yes, but only on the BM6000. The Lost Mary BM6000 Zero Nicotine prefilled pod kit and the matching 0mg refill pods exist in the UK market. Ecigone is bringing the 0mg BM6000 kit and pods into stock - the BM6000 refill pod collection is the right place to check stock status until the dedicated 0mg listings go live. The 0mg BM6000 refill pod and refill container pack is designed to deliver approximately 6,000 puffs per refill (varies by usage and draw style), the same as the 20mg version. The kit format and 2ml prefilled pod plus 10ml auto-refill container layout are identical to the 20mg BM6000 - the only difference is the e-liquid inside the pod is 0mg MaryLiq nic salt rather than 20mg. The 0mg BM6000 lineup at launch covers Blueberry, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, and Strawberry Ice. No other Lost Mary kit currently has a 0mg version, so vapers who prefer the Nera 30K, Pro Max 7000, BM600, Hawcos Crystal Pro, Tappo, or 4-in-1 will need a refillable kit with 0mg shortfill instead. Lost Mary pods themselves cannot be opened and refilled. The pods are factory sealed and designed to be swapped whole when the e-liquid runs dry. Any attempt to break the seal damages the pod and voids any safety guarantee. Does Lost Mary Do Low Nicotine Pods? Yes, but only on the BM6000. The Lost Mary BM6000 has 10mg refill pods on selected flavours alongside the 20mg standard. The 10mg flavours are Blueberry, Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Cherry Ice, Pineapple Ice, and Strawberry Ice - the same 5 flavours as the 0mg lineup, available in both the BM6000 kit and refill pod packs.. No other Lost Mary kit has a 10mg option - the Nera 30K, Pro Max 7000, BM600, Hawcos Crystal Pro, Tappo, and 4-in-1 are all 20mg nic salt only. That is why most prefilled-pod vapers stepping down from 20mg end up looking outside the Lost Mary range. The wider UK prefilled-pod market launched on 20mg because that is what the majority of ex-disposable vapers were already using. 10mg coverage in the prefilled space is still limited. Vapers who want lower nicotine have one practical route - a refillable pod kit. A refillable setup covers every strength legally available in the UK: 20mg nic salt for full strength, the same level as Lost Mary prefilled pods 10mg nic salt for a lighter throat hit 0mg shortfill for completely nicotine-free vaping 3mg or 6mg freebase when a nicotine shot is added to a 0mg shortfill The Ecigone nic salt strengths guide covers how to pick the right level when stepping down from 20mg. Why Nicotine Free Vapers Are Better Off With Refillable Kits For 0mg vaping, a refillable pod kit paired with nicotine free shortfill e-liquid offers more flexibility, more flavour choice, and a lower running cost than any prefilled pod system on the UK market. A refillable kit is not locked into one brand flavour list. It is not stuck on one nicotine strength. And the e-liquid cost per ml is far lower than buying individual prefilled pods. How the two formats compare for nicotine-free vapers: Feature Prefilled Pod Kits Refillable Kit + Shortfill Nicotine Options 20mg only (most brands) 0mg, 3mg, 6mg, 10mg, 20mg Flavour Choice Limited to what the brand makes Hundreds of e-liquids from many brands Bottle Size 2ml per pod 100ml shortfill bottles Ongoing Cost Higher per ml of e-liquid Lower per ml of e-liquid Flexibility Swap the whole pod when empty Refill with any e-liquid at any time Flavour matters more in nicotine free vaping than people expect. Without nicotine, there is no throat hit to lean on, so the e-liquid recipe carries the whole sensation. 50/50 VG/PG shortfills tend to give cleaner, more accurate flavour in pod kits than most prefilled options. Best Zero Nicotine E-Liquids for Pod Kits For the refillable route, 50/50 shortfill e-liquids are the format to look at. The 50/50 VG/PG ratio works well in pod kit replacement coils and the 100ml bottles last a long time when nicotine is not driving heavy chain-vaping. UK 0mg shortfill brands stocked at Ecigone include Doozy Vape, Zeus Juice, Dinner Lady, and IVG, with profiles spanning fruit, menthol, dessert, and bakery. Browse the full 0mg shortfill range at Ecigone to filter by VG ratio and flavour family. Every 100ml shortfill is sold at 0mg by default. Adding a 10ml nicotine shot lifts a 100ml shortfill to 3mg in a 60ml bottle, which is a common step for vapers who want a small amount of nicotine without going back to nic salt strength. For vapers who prefer some nicotine but want to step down from 20mg, 10mg nic salt e-liquids work well in pod kits and sit between 0mg and the 20mg Lost Mary prefilled standard. What Are the Best Zero Nicotine Pod Vape Alternatives? For UK vapers searching for "0mg vape pods" or "nicotine free pod vape", the practical options break into two groups. Option 1: A refillable pod kit filled with 0mg shortfill e-liquid. This is the most flexible long-term route. Choose a kit, fill with any 0mg e-liquid, and vape. The kit body recharges and the same pods get cleaned and reused for many bottles. Browse refillable pod kits at Ecigone to start. Option 2: Sticking with prefilled until a nicotine-free prefilled product launches. A handful of brands now sell prefilled 0mg pods in dedicated nicotine-free product lines. None are made by Lost Mary at the time of writing. Anyone holding out for a Lost Mary 0mg pod release will need to wait for an official Lost Mary or Ecigone announcement. Until then, Option 1 is the working route for nicotine-free pod vaping. What Happened After the Disposable Ban? The UK banned single-use disposable vapes on 1st June 2025. That ban included 0mg disposables, so vapers who used those lost their go-to option overnight. The Ecigone Lost Mary vape ban guide covers the full regulatory timeline. Prefilled pod kits from Lost Mary, Elf Bar, SKE, and others stepped in as the post-ban replacement. Most launched with 20mg pods only, leaving nicotine-free vapers without a like-for-like swap in the prefilled format. The refillable vape market has grown faster since the ban as a result. There are more refillable pod kits and a far bigger 0mg e-liquid range available than there was before June 2025. The Ecigone guide to switching from disposables covers the format-by-format options for ex-disposable vapers, and the Lost Mary recharge guide covers charging if a Lost Mary 20mg kit is being kept alongside a refillable for nicotine-free sessions. For more on the wider Lost Mary range, the Ecigone Lost Mary flavours guide breaks down the flavour list across every kit, and the Lost Mary safety guide covers ingredients and TPD compliance for vapers weighing up the trade-offs of staying on 20mg. OXVA Xlim Pro 2 DNA Review: Evolv Chip Tested

Ready to buy? Browse the OXVA Xlim series and replacement pods. OXVA's Xlim Pro 2 DNA vape kit is the same Pro 2 body with an Evolv DNA chip inside. First pod kit to carry one. I've had the forged carbon version for weeks now and the DNA chip does change things, but not all in the ways you'd expect. Battery life is noticeably longer from the same 1300mAh cell. Replay mode locks in a good puff and repeats it. Temperature control stops dry hits completely with the stainless steel pods. Those three things are what matter. Everything else is a bonus for people who like to tinker. This review is based on daily use alongside the standard Xlim Pro 2, not first impressions. Specs Spec Detail Battery 1300mAh built-in Output 5 to 30W Screen 0.56 inch colour display Charging USB-C (about 45 minutes to full) Chipset Evolv DNA Activation Auto-draw and button fire Pod Capacity 2ml (UK TPD) Airflow Adjustable, MTL to RDL Pods Included 0.6 ohm SS and 0.8 ohm SS (top-fill) Pod Compatibility All Xlim pods (V2, V3, EZ, SS) [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_19] What the DNA Chip Actually Does Standard pod kit chips fire at a set wattage. The Evolv DNA chip inside the Pro 2 DNA makes 30,000 micro-adjustments per second. It reads coil resistance, temperature, and battery voltage in real time and adjusts power on the fly. In practice, three things come from this: Better battery efficiency - the chip only sends the power the coil needs at that exact moment, not a fixed amount Replay mode - locks in a specific puff profile and recreates it every time Temperature control - sets a ceiling so the coil can't overheat, killing dry hits before they happen You don't need to understand any of that to use the kit. It works out of the box with the settings OXVA dialled in. But if you want to know why the battery lasts longer and the flavour stays more consistent, that's the answer. Battery Life Same 1300mAh battery as the standard Pro 2. Different results. I ran both kits side by side for a week. Same pods, same 10mg dessert nic salt, same vaping pattern. The standard Pro 2 got me through the day. The DNA version pushed four hours past that, well into the next morning. That's not a bigger battery. It's a better chip. The DNA doesn't waste power overshooting or undershooting wattage like a standard chip does. It sends exactly what the coil needs and nothing more. For heavy use at around 400 puffs a day, I'm getting a day and a half per charge. USB-C charging takes about 45 minutes from flat to full, with a faster charge up to 80% then a slower taper to protect the cell. Replay Mode Take a puff you like right warmth, right flavour intensity, right throat hit. Press the button to save it. From that point, every puff tries to match those exact conditions. From that saved puff, the DNA chip remembers the power curve, coil temperature, and resistance profile. It adjusts in real time to recreate it regardless of battery level or coil age. I've been using replay mode on a 0.6 ohm SS pod with 10mg vanilla custard nic salt. Puff one tastes like puff one hundred. The consistency is the single biggest difference between the DNA and standard Pro 2. On a normal chip, flavour drifts as the battery drops or the coil ages. Replay mode compensates for both. Not every vaper will care about this. If you just want to fill and go, you won't miss it. But once you've used it, you notice the inconsistency on kits without it. Temperature Control Stainless steel pods open up temperature control. Set a maximum temperature and the coil won't go past it. When e-liquid runs low, instead of a burnt hit, the kit dials back power on its own. I tested this by vaping a pod almost dry on purpose. No burnt taste. Flavour faded gradually and the hit got lighter, but nothing unpleasant. On a standard chip, that same pod would've tasted like charcoal. Temperature control only works with the SS (stainless steel) pods. Kanthal pods from the standard V2 and V3 range still work in the kit but fire in standard wattage mode only. Pro 2 DNA vs Standard Pro 2 This is the comparison most people are searching for. Pro 2 DNA Standard Pro 2 Battery 1300mAh 1300mAh Battery life (real) Day and a half One day Chipset Evolv DNA X-TREME Replay mode Yes No Temp control Yes (SS pods) No Escribe software Yes No Pods All Xlim pods All Xlim pods Output 30W 30W Screen 0.56 inch colour 0.56 inch colour Airflow Adjustable MTL to RDL Adjustable MTL to RDL Auto-draw Yes Yes Button fire Yes Yes Same body. Same pods. Same airflow. The DNA chip is the only physical difference. It changes battery life, adds replay mode and temp control, and opens up Escribe software customisation. If your standard Pro 2 does everything you need and you're happy with the battery, there's no urgent reason to swap. If you want longer battery life, replay consistency, or dry hit protection, the DNA version is the upgrade. Escribe Software and Themes Plug the Pro 2 DNA into your PC via USB-C and Escribe opens up full customisation. Power curves, screen themes, wallpapers, temperature profiles, and display layout. Most people won't touch this. Out of the box settings work well. You can dial in a custom power curve for a specific e-liquid. Set different profiles for MTL and RDL pods. Escribe handles all of it. Themes and wallpapers can be changed through Escribe too. You can upload custom backgrounds or pick from existing options. A few people are searching for "oxva dna theme" and this is where you change it - not on the kit itself, through the PC software. Storage Mode If you're not using the kit for a while, Escribe has a storage mode that drops the battery to a safe level for long-term storage. Keeps the cell healthy if you're shelving it between uses. Fill Pod Error Some users are seeing a "fill pod" error on screen. This happens when the kit detects the pod isn't seated properly or the contacts aren't connecting. Pull the pod out. Check the bottom contacts for e-liquid residue. Wipe clean with a tissue. Reseat the pod firmly until it clicks. If the error keeps showing, try a different pod - a faulty contact on the pod itself can trigger it. Pod Compatibility Every Xlim pod works in the Pro 2 DNA. V2 side-fill, V3 top-fill, EZ 3ml, and the new SS stainless steel pods. No need to buy special pods for the DNA version. For temperature control and replay mode, use the SS pods. They're the only ones that support those features. Kanthal pods (V2, V3, EZ) work fine for standard wattage vaping but can't do temp control. Browse the Xlim range for the full range of resistance options. The pattern shifts depending on the light. Under indoor lighting it looks dark with subtle texture. In direct sunlight the weave shows through more. After weeks of pocket carry, mine still looks fresh with no visible wear. Build and Design Same dimensions as the standard Pro 2. Fits the same in a pocket. Same button placement, same weight. If you've held any kit in the OXVA range, the DNA version feels familiar in hand. The screen is the same 0.56 inch colour display. Shows wattage, coil resistance, battery percentage, and current mode. Readable in sunlight. Three clicks for mode cycling, five clicks to lock. Magnetic pod connection holds firm. No rattling, no accidental pops. The airflow slider on the side adjusts from tight MTL to open RDL with clear steps between settings. OXVA Xlim SQ Pro 2 Review: Touchscreen Pod Kit Tested

Ready to buy? Browse the OXVA Xlim series and replacement pods. I've been carrying the OXVA Xlim SQ Pro 2 for two weeks alongside my Pro 2 and NeXlim. After testing it through busy workdays and a trip to Spain, it's taken over as my main kit. Not because of the touchscreen gimmick factor. Because the battery lasts longer, the screen makes wattage changes faster, and the core vaping performance holds up against everything else in the Xlim range. This is my honest take after daily use, not first impressions out of the box. Specs at a Glance Spec Detail Battery 1600mAh (33% more than original SQ Pro) Output 5 to 30W Screen 1.09 inch HD touchscreen Charging USB-C Activation Auto-draw Pod Capacity 2ml (TPD compliant) Airflow Adjustable, MTL to RDL Pods Included Xlim V3 top-fill Colours 8 options   [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_20] Touchscreen: Actually Useful or Just a Gimmick I was sceptical. Every touchscreen pod kit I've tried before has been laggy, confusing, or both. OXVA got this one right. Swipe to adjust wattage. Tap to check resistance. Glance at battery percentage without pressing anything. Zero lag between touch and response. In bright sunlight during my Spain trip, the screen stayed readable without tilting or shading it. After two weeks, I'm using the touchscreen more than I expected. Wattage adjustments are quicker and more precise than button tapping on the Pro 2. You slide your finger and the number changes in real time. Fine-tuning between 14W and 16W on a 0.8 ohm pod takes a second instead of multiple button presses. 64 Theme Combinations You get 64 different combinations of themes, animations, and wallpapers. Swipe through and pick one, or change it daily if you get bored. It's not a selling point on its own, but it's a nice touch that most kits at this price don't bother with. Puff Tracker Built-in puff counter that tracks daily, weekly, and monthly usage. Works like a step counter for vaping. Your data stays on the kit only. OXVA doesn't collect or store anything. I found this more useful than expected. Knowing my daily puff count helped me notice patterns I hadn't thought about before. Not essential, but interesting. Six Built-In Tools Torch, stopwatch, calendar, language settings, date display, and eco mode. I'll be honest: the torch and stopwatch feel like filler. I've got a phone in my other pocket that does both better. Eco mode is the one worth using. It stretches the battery out to roughly 7 days on light use. Battery: 1600mAh This is where the SQ Pro 2 pulls ahead of the standard Xlim Pro 2. At 1600mAh, it's 300mAh bigger. On a 0.8 ohm pod at 14W, I'm getting a full day and evening without charging. On the 0.6 ohm pod at higher wattage, I still make it through a workday. I vape dessert nic salt e-liquids at 10mg and 5mg throughout the day. That's moderate to heavy use. The SQ Pro 2 kept up every single day during testing without needing a lunchtime top-up. My Pro 2 can't say the same. USB-C charging brings it back quickly. Eco mode on top of the 1600mAh battery makes this the longest-lasting Xlim vape kit I've used. Vaping Performance Here's the part that actually matters. Flavour from the SQ Pro 2 is on par with the Pro 2 and NeXlim. Dessert nic salts come through clean with the 0.8 ohm V3 pod at 14W. Every layer of a custard or bakery profile holds up throughout the pod's life. Auto-draw calibration is spot on. Not too sensitive (no pocket firing), not too slow to respond. Draw, and it fires. Consistent from the first puff of the day through to the last. Power holds steady as the battery drains. At 20% battery I'm still getting the same flavour quality as at full charge. That's worth more than any touchscreen feature. Pod Compatibility Every Xlim pod in the range works with the SQ Pro 2. V3 top-fill, V2 side-fill, and EZ pods all fit. You're not locked into one pod type. I've been using EZ pods alongside V3s during testing. The EZ pods have a 3ml capacity (international version) with a snap-top refill that's easier to fill than the V3's silicone bung. If you've got bigger fingers, the EZ refill is noticeably better. Pod Type Resistance Style Wattage V3 0.4 ohm 0.4 ohm RDL 26 to 30W V3 0.6 ohm 0.6 ohm RDL 20 to 25W V3 0.8 ohm 0.8 ohm MTL 12 to 16W V3 1.2 ohm 1.2 ohm MTL 10 to 12W Airflow adjusts from tight MTL to loose RDL via a slider on the side. On the 0.8 ohm pod closed down, the draw is close to a cigarette. Open it up on a 0.6 ohm pod and you get more vapour with a looser inhale. Colours Eight finishes available: Black Carbon Black Leather Brown Leather Frost Marble Gunmetal Wood Blue Shadow Dream Pink Celadon Marble I've been using Black Carbon. It hides fingerprints better than the glossy finishes and matches the square form factor well. Build and Design Square body with rounded edges. 114g, so it's heavier than a standard Xlim but not enough to weigh down a pocket. The edges are smoother than the original SQ Pro, and extended hand time feels comfortable. Compared to the slimmer Pro 2 and Pro 3, the SQ Pro 2 takes up a bit more room. You notice it in a shirt pocket but not in a trouser pocket. Trade-off for the bigger battery and larger screen. SQ Pro 2 vs Xlim Pro 2 This is the comparison most people searching for this kit want to see. SQ Pro 2 Xlim Pro 2 Battery 1600mAh 1300mAh Screen 1.09 inch touchscreen 0.56 inch button-controlled Output 30W 30W Activation Auto-draw Auto-draw Pods Full Xlim range Full Xlim range Airflow Adjustable MTL to RDL Adjustable MTL to RDL Button Fire No No Extras Puff tracker, eco mode, torch, themes Colour themes Battery and screen are the two biggest upgrades. Vaping performance is nearly identical. If your Pro 2 battery gets you through the day and you don't need a touchscreen, there's no urgent reason to swap. If you want more battery life and a quicker way to adjust settings, the SQ Pro 2 is the better kit. Who It's For Heavy daily vapers who need a battery that lasts past 6pm. Anyone who wants quick wattage adjustments without button pressing. Existing OXVA Xlim owners who want an upgrade without buying new pods. If you want a simpler kit with no screen at all, the Xlim Go 2 is the stripped-back option. If you want the Photon chipset and button fire, the Xlim Pro 3 is the newer pick in the range. The Honest Bits Torch and stopwatch are filler. I used the torch once to find a pod I'd dropped behind the sofa. Stopwatch hasn't been touched. OXVA put them in to pad out the feature list, and I'd rather they spent that development time on something else. Puff tracker, eco mode, and touchscreen wattage control are the ones worth having. Those three justify the touchscreen. Everything else is a bonus you'll use once and forget about. Auto-draw only means no button fire option. If you're coming from a Pro 3 where you've got both, you'll miss the button. If you've been on a Pro 2 (also auto-draw only), it won't matter. What Vape Liquid Works Best in a Caliburn? Juice, Strength and Mode Guide

Ready to buy? Browse Uwell Caliburn kits and e-liquids. Got a Caliburn and the flavour isn't quite right? Nine times out of ten it's the liquid, not the kit. I've lost count of how many people message us saying their Caliburn tastes rubbish, and it turns out they've filled it with 70/30 liquid or the wrong nic strength. This applies to every Caliburn from the G3 through to the G4 Pro KOKO. They all use the same pod system, same wicking, same rules. Nic Salts or Freebase? Nic salts. Caliburn pods are built around them. Salts absorb faster and the flavour comes through cleaner, especially at higher strengths. Try 20mg freebase in a Caliburn and the throat hit will overpower everything else. 20mg nic salt? Smooth enough that you're actually tasting the juice instead of wincing through the draw. You can run freebase at lower strengths (3mg, 6mg) and it's perfectly fine. Some of our regulars do exactly that. But if you're switching from disposables or cigarettes and want that same quick hit, salts are what you want. What VG/PG Ratio? 50/50, always. I've tested thicker liquids in these pods and the result is always the same - flavour drops off after a few puffs and you start getting dry hits because the wick can't keep up. Caliburn replacement coils have small wicking holes. 70/30 or max VG just sits there instead of soaking through. On the other end, really thin high-PG liquid floods the coil and you get spitting and gurgling. 50/50 E-Liquid matches the wicking speed perfectly. Worth knowing: if a nic salt bottle doesn't list the ratio, it's almost always 50/50. That's standard for UK salts. Which Nicotine Strength? 20mg works for heavy smokers (15+ a day) and anyone coming off disposables. Strong throat hit, fast satisfaction. This is where most switchers start and it's the right call. 10mg suits moderate smokers or people who've been on 20mg and fancy dialling it back. I vape 10mg day to day and it's enough without being aggressive. 5mg is for light or social vapers. Barely any throat hit. Honestly, a lot of people who try 5mg after using disposables find it too weak and go back up to 10mg. Don't force yourself to stick with a strength that isn't working. Feeling dizzy or nauseous on 20mg? That's your body telling you to drop down, not push through. 10mg is the safest starting point if you're genuinely unsure, and you can also have a read of our nicotine strength guide. Caliburn G4 Waves vs Storm Mode Only on the G4 and G4 Pro - G3 kits don't have this. Storm fires at full power the whole puff. Warmer, more immediate flavour hit, chews through battery and liquid faster. Uwell markets it as the intense option and yeah, that's about right. Waves ramps up more gradually. Cooler draw, smoother delivery, kinder on your battery. I've seen reviewers say they can barely tell the difference between the two modes, and honestly at lower wattages I'd agree. Where it gets noticeable is with bold fruity or menthol flavours on higher wattage - Storm punches the flavour at you straight away while Waves lets it build across the draw. My advice: live in Waves for daily vaping and flip to Storm when you want a stronger hit. That's how I use it. Getting Better Flavour from Your Caliburn Prime your pods. Fill it, then leave it alone for 5 minutes. I know that's annoying when you've just bought a fresh pod and want to try it. But dry-firing a new coil ruins it. Five minutes of patience saves you from binning a pod after three puffs. Keep the airflow tight with nic salts. Tighter draw concentrates the flavour. If you're on a 0.9Ω or 1.2Ω pod with salts, close that airflow down. Open airflow is for the 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω pods with freebase. Top up the pod before it gets below a quarter full. Vaping on dregs gives you harsh, thin hits and burns the wick out faster than it should. Know when a pod's done. Most Caliburn pods last a week or two. Sweet flavours kill them quicker - all that sugar gunks up the coil. Once the taste goes flat or slightly burnt, no amount of refilling will bring it back. Swap it. What Flavours Work Well? Bold, punchy flavours tend to land best. Fruits, menthols, anything with a strong primary note. The mesh coils are great at picking up those sharp top notes and delivering them cleanly. Subtler stuff - custards, tobaccos, layered desserts - needs a bit more care. Drop the wattage, tighten the airflow, and give it time to breathe. High power on a delicate flavour just tastes like sweetener. Browse our nic salt collection for the full range. Keep it 50/50 and you'll be sorted in any Caliburn kit. Geekvape Wenax Not Working? Leaking, Check Pod and Coil Errors Fixed

Your Wenax has stopped playing ball. Could be leaking from the bottom, flashing red, throwing a "check pod" error - whatever it is, I've probably seen it before. After years of fielding these questions from customers, nearly all of them boil down to the same handful of fixes. Same goes for the Sonder Q and Q2 since they run on the same Q pod system. If your Sonder is playing up, you're in the right place. Try These First Seriously - before you read any further, do these four things. They clear up about 80% of "not working" complaints. Yank the pod out and push it back in. Hard. A loose connection is behind most of these issues. Wipe the contacts on the bottom of the pod and inside the kit with a dry tissue. Check there's actually liquid in the pod. Obvious, I know. But it happens. Plug it in and charge it. A dead battery looks a lot like a broken kit. Sorted? Great. If not, keep going. Wenax Pod Leaking Most leaks aren't a fault with the kit. Nearly every one I've seen comes down to how the pod is being used or filled. You're Overfilling It By far the most frequent cause. Every pod has a max fill line. Go past it and you're creating pressure inside the pod that pushes liquid out through the seals. Side-fill pods are worse for this because you can't see the level as clearly while you're filling. Keep it to about 80%. That air gap at the top matters - it's what stops liquid being forced through the replacement coils too quickly. Your E-Liquid's the Wrong Thickness Wenax pods and Q pods are built around 50/50 VG/PG nic salt e-liquids. Thick 70/30 or max VG juice can't wick fast enough and pools around the coil until it leaks. Too thin and it seeps straight through the seals. 50/50 is the sweet spot. Stick with it. You've Gone from a Cold Place to a Warm One Classic winter issue, this. Leave your kit in a cold car then walk into a warm office and the air inside the pod expands. That pushes liquid through the seals. If it's happened, pull the pod out and blow gently through the mouthpiece over a tissue to clear the excess. Let it sit for a minute before you reinsert. The Pod's Had Its Day Rubber seals wear out. Magnetic contacts degrade. If you've been on the same pod for two weeks or more and it's started leaking even though you're doing everything right, the pod is done. Bin it. Fresh pod, problem solved. It's Not Sitting in the Kit Properly Should click in with a clean, solid connection. Wobbly? Liquid will seep down into the battery contacts. Pull it out, wipe any juice off the contacts, dry them properly, and push it back in until it clicks. No gaps. "Check Pod" Error Your screen says "check pod" - or on a screenless model like the Sonder Q, it's not responding at all when you inhale. The kit can't read the pod. That's it. Almost always one of these: Pod isn't pushed in all the way. Push harder. New pod still has a plastic cover or sticker over the contacts on the bottom. Peel it off. Dirty contacts. Wipe the gold pins on the pod and inside the kit with a dry tissue. Try a different pod entirely. If that one works, the first pod was a dud. If nothing works, the kit might be the problem. On the Sonder Q2 specifically, "check pod" doesn't show on screen because there isn't one. You'll just get zero response when you inhale - dead silent, nothing happens. Same fixes apply. "Coil Out of Range" Error Only shows up on Wenax models with a screen (Q Pro, Q Ultra). The kit's reading a resistance it doesn't recognise. A few reasons this happens: Pod went in while the kit was still warm from use. Switch the kit off, pull the pod, wait ten seconds, reinsert. Gunk on the contacts. Even a thin layer of dried e-liquid throws the reading off. Clean everything. Dead coil. Sometimes a coil just fails internally - burns out or shorts. You won't see it from the outside. If cleaning doesn't work, try a new pod. Wrong pods. Needs to be genuine Geekvape Q pods. Third-party ones sometimes sit at slightly different resistances and the kit flags them. Wenax Not Firing Won't produce vapour at all? Work through this. Red light blinks 3 times - it can't find a pod. Pull it out and put it back in. Clean contacts. 5 red blinks - battery's dead. Charge it fully, then try. 8 red blinks - short circuit. Pull the pod out, press the fire button on its own. If you get 3 blinks now, the coil resistance is too low - grab a different pod. Still 8 blinks? Clean the connector pins inside the kit with a dry cotton bud. Red light holds steady for about 10 seconds - overheating. You've been chain vaping. Put it down and let it cool. Nothing at all? No light, no response? Flat battery. Plug in a USB-C cable and give it 10-15 minutes. If it still won't respond after that, the battery's likely reached end of life. Time for a new kit. All these LED codes work the same on the Sonder Q and Sonder Q2 since they share the same internals. You're Using the Wrong Resistance Pod This one catches people out. Wrong resistance for your draw style = gurgling, spitting, leaking. Tight draws (MTL): 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω. Lower wattage, tighter airflow. Bigger draws (RDL): 0.4Ω or 0.6Ω. More power, more open airflow. Where it goes wrong: MTL pod with the airflow wide open floods the coil. RDL pod with airflow cranked tight creates back-pressure that forces liquid out. Match the pod to how you vape and most gurgling/leaking issues disappear. Replace the Pod or Replace the Kit? Swap the pod when: It's over 7-10 days old and flavour's gone flat Rubber seals look worn or the pod feels loose It leaks even after you've tried everything above A different pod clears the error Swap the kit when: Multiple pods all fail (tested, cleaned, still nothing) Won't charge at all LED is completely dead Contact pins inside are visibly damaged Pod Leaking Right Now? Stop vaping it. Pull the pod out and stand it on a tissue. Wipe down everything inside the kit - especially the battery contacts. Get it properly dry. Liquid on those contacts can cause shorts and stop the whole thing working. Once it's dry, pop the pod back in and test. Leaks again straight away? Pod's done. Bin it. Replacement pods come in packs of three from Ecigone, both top-fill and side-fill. Side-fills hold 3ml (2ml TPD) with colour-coded resistances.
