How to Charge a Lost Mary Vape: Charge Times by Kit

Every rechargeable Lost Mary kit charges the same way: plug a USB-C cable into the kit, then unplug it once it is charged. This guide covers the BM6000, Nera, BM600 and Crystal Pro: how to charge each one, how long it takes, what the lights mean, and what to do if your vape will not charge.

How Long Does a Lost Mary Take to Charge?

No official charge time is published by Lost Mary themselves for any of these kits, so the times given here are our estimates of a charge from flat, based on each battery size and on charge times reported by reviewers.

By our estimate, the BM600 is the quickest to reach a full charge at under an hour, and the BM6000, with the biggest battery, takes the longest to charge at about an hour to an hour and a half.

A kit that is only part empty charges faster. If yours takes much longer than this, go through the checks in the 'Lost Mary Not Charging' section further down.

How to Charge a Lost Mary BM6000

The BM6000, also called the Lost Mary 6K, charges through a USB Type-C port. There is no cable in the box, so use a USB-C cable you already have.

1. Plug the small end of a USB-C cable into the charging port.
2. Plug the other end into a USB wall plug or a laptop.
3. Watch the screen: it shows the battery level as a percentage from completely flat at 0% to fully charged at 100% while it charges.
4. Unplug once it reads 100%. By our estimate, that takes about 1 to 1.5 hours from flat.

One full charge is made to last the whole 12ml refill pack, the 2ml pod and its 10ml container, so a full battery should see you through a pack.

How to Charge a Lost Mary Nera

The Lost Mary Nera 30K and the Nera 15K are the same device, so their batteries charge the same way; through a USB Type-C port. No cable comes in the box.

1. Plug a USB-C cable into the Nera's charging port.
2. Plug the other end into a USB wall plug or a laptop.
3. Watch the battery display on the screen while it charges.
4. Unplug once it shows full. By our estimate, that takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour from flat.

The Lost Mary Nera 15K is the same kit with one pod in the box instead of two.

How to Charge a Lost Mary BM600

The Lost Mary BM600 kit charges through a USB Type-C port on its base, and its single light tells you what is happening. No cable is listed in the box.

1. Charge it when the light flashes three times, which means the battery is low.
2. Plug a USB-C cable into the port on the base.
3. Check that the light stays on: that means it is charging.
4. Unplug once the light goes off. By our estimate, that takes about 30 to 45 minutes from flat.

How to Charge a Hawcos x Lost Mary Crystal Pro

Unlike the other kits here, the Hawcos x Lost Mary Crystal Pro comes with a USB-C cable in the box. It has a 500mAh battery and overcharge protection.

1. Charge it when the light turns red, which means the battery is below 30%.
2. Plug the supplied USB-C cable into the charging port.
3. Plug the other end into a USB wall plug or a laptop.
4. By our estimate, it takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour from flat. The light turns white again once the battery reaches 30%.

How Do You Know When a Lost Mary Is Charged?

Each Lost Mary vape shows whether its battery is charged or not in a different way:

• BM6000: the screen reads 100%.
• Nera 30K and 15K: the battery display on the screen shows full.
• BM600: the light goes off.
• Crystal Pro: no full-charge signal is published, but the light changes from red to white once the battery reaches 30%.

The BM600 and the Crystal Pro use a light instead of a screen, most of which are signalling battery level information. This is what each light means:

How Many Times Can You Recharge a Lost Mary?

Many times. The BM6000, Nera, BM600 and Crystal Pro are made to be recharged and reused. When a pod is empty, you replace the pod, not the device. There is no official figure for how many charges the battery lasts, and like any vape battery, it slowly holds less charge over time.

What Charger Does a Lost Mary Use?

Each Lost Mary range uses a USB Type-C cable for charging, plugged into a USB wall plug or a laptop. Only the Crystal Pro comes with a cable in the kit box, so for the BM6000, Nera and BM600, use a good USB-C cable you already own, such as a phone cable. A wall plug is usually quicker than a laptop port.

Unplug the kit once it is full, and do not leave it charging overnight or unattended.

Lost Mary Not Charging?

In our experience, a Lost Mary that will not charge usually has a cable, plug or port problem rather than a faulty battery. Check these in order:

1. Try a different USB-C cable. A worn or cheap cable is the most common cause.
2. Try a different plug or USB port.
3. Push the cable all the way in, and check the port for fluff or dirt.
4. Leave it plugged in for a few minutes before deciding it is not charging, especially if the battery was completely flat.
5. Check the screen or light: the BM6000 and Nera screens should show the battery, and the BM600 light should stay on.

If it charges but is still not working, in our experience the pod is the usual problem: check it is pushed fully onto the kit and still has e-liquid in it.

Are Lost Mary Vapes Rechargeable?

Yes. Every Lost Mary kit we sell is rechargeable over USB-C, which is why each one has a charging port. The BM6000, Nera, BM600 and Crystal Pro also take replacement prefilled pods.

The old single-use Lost Mary bars were different. Some, like the BM3500 and BM5000, had a USB-C port too, but none of them could take a new pod.
