SKE Crystal 600 Pro Review: Is the Rechargeable Crystal Bar Worth It?

The SKE Crystal 600 Pro is SKE's rechargeable replacement for the Crystal Bar 600. It keeps the slim shape, the Crystal Bar flavours and the tight mouth to lung draw. The difference is you charge it over USB-C. When a 2ml prefilled pod is empty, you push in a new one instead of throwing the whole vape away.

Is the SKE Crystal 600 Pro Good?

Yes, if you want the Crystal Bar 600 in a kit you keep. It is small, with no buttons or settings. Every pod brings a fresh 1.1 ohm mesh coil, so the flavour stays the same pod after pod. The 400mAh battery charges over USB-C and the pods are 20mg nic salt. It is less suited to heavy vapers. A 2ml pod empties far sooner than the 7ml and 12ml packs on SKE's bigger kits.

What Is the Difference Between the Crystal Bar 600 and the SKE 600 Pro?

The Crystal Bar 600 was a sealed disposable: when it was empty, the battery went in the bin with it. The SKE 600 Pro keeps the look and the flavours. It splits the vape in two: a battery you recharge and a pod you replace.

SKE 600 Pro vs SKE Bar 600 Zero

The SKE Bar 600 Zero is the same compact format with no nicotine. It takes 2ml pods at 0mg with a 1.2 ohm mesh coil, and has a 500mAh battery. The 600 Pro has 20mg pods, a 1.1 ohm coil and a 400mAh battery. Zero pods are made for the Zero kit only, so the two kits do not share pods.

How Long Does an SKE 600 Pro Pod Last?

SKE rate each 2ml pod at up to 600 puffs, and a refill pack of two is 4ml. Puff counts change with how you draw, so go by the e-liquid. Long, hard draws empty a pod faster than short ones.

• SKE Crystal 600 Pro: 2ml per pod, 4ml per pack of two
• SKE Bar 6K: 7ml, a 2ml pod and a 5ml container

Does the Vape Tax Make the SKE 600 Pro Cost More?

A little, and less per pack than any bigger SKE kit. Vaping Products Duty started on 1 October 2026 and is charged per 10ml of e-liquid, with VAT on top. It applies whether the liquid has nicotine or not.

Duty goes by the ml, so a 2ml pod carries a sixth of the duty of a 12ml pack. The duty per ml is the same on every kit, but a 2ml pod adds the least to each buy.

Shane expects that to bring compact 2ml kits like the 600 Pro back into favour. Before the disposable ban, the Crystal Bar 600 was everywhere. Some vapers who moved to big puff kits may well come back.

Can You Refill SKE 600 Pro Pods?

No. SKE 600 Pro pods are sealed with the coil inside and are made to be replaced, not refilled. When a pod tastes weak or stops making vapour, swap in the second pod from the pack.

To vape the same flavours from a bottle, SKE Crystal nic salts come in 10ml bottles at 10mg and 20mg.

How to Charge and Use the SKE Crystal 600 Pro

Charge it over USB-C, push a pod into the top and inhale. SKE do not publish a charge time, and no cable comes in the box, so use any USB-C lead. Step by step:

1. Charge the kit with a USB-C cable.
2. Peel the sticker off the pod.
3. Push the pod into the top of the kit until it clicks.
4. Inhale to vape. There is no button to press.
5. When the pod is empty, pull it out and push in a new one.

What Pods Fit the SKE Crystal 600 Pro?

SKE Crystal 600 Pro vs Other SKE Kits

All of SKE's kits take sealed prefilled pods. The real difference is how much e-liquid each pack holds and how often you change it. The 600 Pro is the compact kit closest to the Crystal Bar. The SKE Bar 6K is the next step up with a 7ml pack. It also takes the 12ml Bar 15K pods. The Bar 600 Zero is the 0mg version of the compact format.

The SKE Crystal 600 Pro is the closest kit to the Crystal Bar 600 now that disposables are gone. It suits anyone who wants something small and simple with the Crystal Bar flavours. You do need to be happy changing a 2ml pod often. Heavy vapers will get on better with a 7ml or 12ml SKE kit.
