SKE Bar 15K Review: Is It Worth It, and Why Is There an SKE Bar 6K?

The SKE Bar 15K is SKE's rechargeable prefilled pod kit. It has an 850mAh battery, a screen that shows the battery level and your puff count, and a two-piece pack: a 2ml mesh pod fed by a 10ml container, 12ml of 20mg nic salt in all.

SKE now make the SKE Bar 6K as well. It has the same 850mAh battery and pod fitting, but a smaller 7ml pack.

Is the SKE Bar 15K Good?

Yes, if you want one flavour to last and like to see where you stand. The container is clear, so you can see the e-liquid level. The screen shows the charge and your puff count. Every pack also brings a new mesh coil, so the flavour holds from one pack to the next. There is nothing to fill and no button to press.

The weak point is the size of the pack. 12ml ties you to one flavour for a long time. The vape tax is also charged per ml, so a 12ml pack carries more duty than a smaller one. That is where the 6K comes in.

What Is the Difference Between the SKE Bar 15K and the SKE Bar 6K?

Mainly it is the pack size. Both kits have an 850mAh battery that charges over USB-C. Both take 20mg nic salt pods with a mesh coil, and each takes the other's pods. The 15K pack is a 2ml pod with a 10ml container, 12ml in all. The 6K pack is a 2ml pod with a 5ml container, 7ml in all.

Do SKE Bar 6K Pods Fit the SKE Bar 15K?

Yes, and it works both ways. The fitting under the pod is the same on both kits. The 6K pod box is even printed "Compatible with SKE Bar 15K". So whichever kit you own, you can choose a 7ml or a 12ml pack each time you buy pods.

Why Is There an SKE Bar 6K?

SKE have not said why, but we think the answer is the vape tax. Vaping Products Duty started on 1 October 2026, and it is charged per 10ml of e-liquid with VAT on top. So the duty on a pack grows with the ml inside it.

A 7ml 6K pack carries a little over half the duty of a 12ml 15K pack. It adds less to each buy and lets you change flavour sooner. SKE are now moving the Bar kit on to the 6K. The 15K pods carry on, so you can still choose the bigger pack in the newer kit.

How Long Does an SKE Bar 15K Pod Last?

Go by the e-liquid, not the number on the box, because puff ratings change with how you draw. An SKE Bar 15K pack holds 12ml and an SKE Bar 6K pack holds 7ml. Long, hard draws use a pack faster than short ones.

The 15K makes it easy to keep track. The container is clear, so you can watch the level drop. The screen counts your puffs, so after one pack you know how long 12ml lasts you. For comparison, here is the e-liquid in each SKE pack:

Can You Refill an SKE Bar 15K?

No. The 2ml pod and the 10ml container come sealed and prefilled, and the mesh coil sits inside the pod. When a pack is empty, you replace the whole pack rather than filling it.

How to Set Up and Charge the SKE Bar 15K

Charge it over USB-C, snap the pod and container together, fit the pack and inhale. SKE do not publish a charge time. No USB-C lead comes in the box, so use one you already have. Step by step:

1. Charge the kit with a USB-C cable.
2. Peel the sticker off the pod.
3. Snap the 2ml pod and the 10ml container together.
4. Seat the pack in the top of the kit.
5. Inhale to vape. There is no button to press.
6. When the pack is empty, take it out and fit a new one.

What Pods Fit the SKE Bar 15K?

Should You Buy the SKE Bar 15K or the SKE Bar 6K?

Because the two kits take the same pods, the choice that matters most is the pack. Go for the 12ml 15K packs if you:

• Stick to one flavour for weeks at a time
• Want to change pods less often
• Want a 15K flavour the 6K range does not have, such as Fresh Menthol Mojito or Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

Go for the 7ml 6K packs if you:

• Like to change flavour more often
• Want less duty on each pack you buy
• Vape lightly to moderately, so 7ml lasts you well

Our Verdict on the SKE Bar 15K

The SKE Bar 15K is a simple, well made big pack kit. With the puff count screen and the clear container, you are never guessing how much is left. Its 12ml pack is now its weak point. It carries the most duty of the two and ties you to one flavour for longer.

Since the 15K and the 6K share pods, pick 12ml packs if you stick to one flavour. Pick 7ml packs if you want less to pay each time and more chances to switch.
