Caliburn G3 Pods vs GPP Pods: Which Fit Your Kit and What's the Difference?
Ready to buy? Browse Uwell Caliburn kits and G Pod refills. We get asked this constantly. "Do GPP pods fit my G3?" "Are G3 pods the same as GPP?" "Which resistance do I need?" Uwell hasn't made it obvious, so I'll clear it up. There are Caliburn G3 pods and GPP pods. Both come in four resistances. Both have top-fill and side-fill versions. They look nearly identical. Confusing? Yeah. But the actual differences are small, and both work with the same kits. What Are G3 Pods? These launched with the original Caliburn G3 back in 2023. Four resistances: 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.9Ω, and 1.2Ω. Built-in vape coils in every one, so when a pod's finished you bin it and grab a fresh one. The 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω are top-fill - pull the mouthpiece off to refill. The 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω are side-fill with a rubber bung. All hold 2ml under UK TPD rules. G3 pods fit every G3 series kit and every G4 series kit too. What Are GPP Pods? GPP stands for G Pod Platform. Uwell launched it alongside the Caliburn G4 as a universal pod system - one pod type that works across current kits and whatever comes next. Same four resistances as G3 pods. Same mesh coil construction. They look almost identical from the outside. The upgrades are internal: PRO-FOCS 4.0 flavour tech (up from 3.0 on G3 pods) and a slightly tweaked version of the U² anti-leak construction. Like G3 pods, GPP pods fit all G3 and G4 series kits. G3 Pods vs GPP Pods: What's Actually Different? Not much, honestly. I'll lay it out. G3 Pods GPP Pods Resistances 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.9Ω, 1.2Ω 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.9Ω, 1.2Ω Capacity (UK) 2ml 2ml or XL Coil Built-in mesh Built-in mesh Fill 0.4/0.6 top-fill, 0.9/1.2 side-fill 0.4/0.6 top-fill, 0.9/1.2 side-fill Flavour tech PRO-FOCS 3.0 PRO-FOCS 4.0 Fits G3 kits Yes Yes Fits G4 kits Yes Yes Pack size 4 pods 3 (side-fill) or 4 (top-fill) Packaging Labelled "G3" Labelled "GPP" The jump from PRO-FOCS 3.0 to 4.0 is subtle. I've used both back to back and the flavour difference is marginal at best. If you're buying fresh pods today, go GPP - it's the newer line and where Uwell is putting its development. But if you've got G3 pods that work well, absolutely no reason to switch. Which Pods Fit Which Kit? Every G3 kit takes both pod types. One thing to watch: the 0.4Ω pod wants 20-25W to run properly. Kits that max out at 25W will fire it, but only just. The 35W kits give it room to breathe. Kit G3 Pods GPP Pods Max Wattage 0.4Ω Caliburn G3 Yes Yes 25W Borderline G3 Pro Yes Yes 35W Full power G3 Lite Yes Yes 25W Skip it G3 Pro KOKO Yes Yes 35W Full power GK3 Tenet Yes Yes 25W Borderline The G3 Lite doesn't support the 0.4Ω well at all - stick with 0.6Ω and above on that kit. The G3 Pro and G3 Pro KOKO handle everything including the 0.4Ω without issue. Own a G4 kit? Same story. All G3 and GPP pods fit across the G4 range too. Which Resistance Should I Pick? Same options whether you buy G3 or GPP. The coil construction is identical across both lines. 1.2Ω (8-12W) - Tightest draw, closest to a cigarette. Strong throat hit, low vapour. Pair with 20mg nic salts. The go-to for heavy smokers making the switch. 0.9Ω (12-16W) - Comes included with most G3 kits for a reason. Slightly more open than the 1.2Ω but still firmly MTL. Works brilliantly with 10mg or 20mg salts. If you don't know what to pick, pick this. 0.6Ω (16-20W) - Restricted lung draw. Warmer, more vapour, sits between MTL and a proper lung hit. Better with 50/50 freebase or lower strength salts. 0.4Ω (20-25W) - Loose draw, most vapour. Only runs right on 35W kits. Best with freebase e-liquids. Coming off disposables and not sure? Start with the 0.9Ω. Closest thing to what you're used to. Do I Need to Switch from G3 to GPP? No. If your G3 pods are doing the job, keep buying them. Both types fit the same kits, come in the same resistances, and perform near identically. GPP is where Uwell is heading with future releases, so it'll likely become the main option over time. But right now either works. New G4 kits may ship with GPP pods in the box rather than G3. Doesn't matter - they're cross-compatible. Pick up whichever type you prefer from our Caliburn pods collection. What About Prefilled Caliburn G3 Pods? Uwell did release prefilled G3 pods through the GPP, preloaded with e-liquid in a range of flavours. These are MTL only at a single resistance. Availability varies by region and in the UK the refillable pods are what most retailers stock, us included. Worth checking back on as availability shifts. How to Refill a Vape Pod and Choose Your First Pod Kit
Ready to buy? Shop refillable pod kits or all vape kits. If you've just picked up a pod kit or you're thinking about getting one, this is the guide you need. How to refill a vape pod without making a mess. What types of pod kit exist. How long your pods will last, and what to do when something goes wrong. I've been selling and using these things for over a decade, so I'll keep it practical. What Is a Pod Vape Kit Two parts. A battery and a pod. That's it. The pod holds your e-liquid and contains a small replacement coils that heats it into vapour. Most pod kits are draw activated, so you inhale and it fires. No buttons, no screens, nothing to configure. Small enough for a pocket, charges over USB-C, runs on nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids. If you've used a disposable before, same experience. You just refill the pod yourself instead of throwing the whole thing in the bin. Refillable Pods, Prefilled Pods, and Box Mods Three main types of vape kit exist in the UK right now. Refillable pod kits are what most vapers end up with. You buy the kit, fill the pod with whatever e-liquid you want, and swap the pod out when the coil wears down. Thousands of flavours to pick from. A 10ml bottle of nic salt lasts roughly the same as five disposables and costs a couple of quid, so the savings add up fast. Browse refillable pod kits to see what's available. Then you've got prefilled pod kits. Rechargeable battery, but the pods come pre-filled and you bin them when they're empty. Convenient, yes. You're paying for that convenience though. Two or three times more per month than refillable users, and you're stuck with whatever flavours the brand decides to make. Prefilled pod kits are here if that trade off suits you. Box mods are a completely different animal. Bigger, heavier, with external batteries and adjustable wattage. Sub-ohm coils, shortfill e-liquids e-liquids, clouds everywhere. I wouldn't touch one as a beginner. Get comfortable with a pod kit first. If you end up wanting more power down the line, box mods are on the site waiting. How to Refill a Vape Pod: Top Fill Top fill is what you'll find on most pod kits sold today. The fill port sits under the mouthpiece. Pull the pod out of the kit Remove or flip the mouthpiece to expose the fill port Tilt the pod slightly and squeeze e-liquid in slowly Stop just below the max line, never right up to it Push the mouthpiece back into place Wait five minutes before you vape That wait matters. The cotton inside needs time to soak up the liquid. Skip it and you'll scorch the coil on your first pull. Horrible dry hit, and the pod's done for. If the mouthpiece feels stiff, wiggle it gently. Forcing it cracks the plastic. [shotcode_multi_image_section_3] How to Refill a Vape Pod: Side Fill Side fill pods have a rubber bung on the side instead of a top port. Pull the pod out, peel back the bung, tilt and fill slowly. Push the bung back until it sits completely flush. Wipe any spilled liquid off the contacts with kitchen roll before you slot the pod back in. Give it five minutes to prime, same as top fill. Side fill pods leak less often in my experience. But that rubber bung wears out after a few weeks of daily pulling and pushing. Once it stops holding a seal, the pod needs swapping. How Long Do Vape Pods Last One to three weeks for most refillable vape pods. Sweet and dessert flavours contain more sweetener, and that gunks up coils faster. I get about a week from heavy dessert liquids. Fruit or menthol with less sweetener stretches closer to three weeks. In terms of refills, expect anywhere from 10 to 30 from a single pod before the coil packs in. The signs are obvious. Flavour goes flat, vapour thins out, and eventually you catch a faint burnt edge even with a full pod. Swap it at that point rather than squeezing another few days out of it. Two pods in rotation last longer than hammering one until it dies. Keeping the kit upright helps too. Troubleshooting Common Pod Problems Leaking from the base. Nine times out of ten, overfilling. Pull the pod out, dry the contacts with kitchen roll, and fill to just below the max line next time. Worn rubber seals cause it too, but that's less common. Burnt taste on a new pod. You didn't wait long enough after filling. Once cotton burns, that's it. New pod. I know it's tempting to start vaping straight away. Don't. Spitting liquid into your mouth. Take the pod out and blow through it firmly onto kitchen roll. Excess liquid pools on the coil after a refill sometimes, and blowing it through sorts it out. Lost all flavour suddenly. Could be the coil wearing out. Could be vaper's tongue, which happens when you've been on the same flavour for weeks. Switch flavours for a day and see if it comes back. Still nothing after that, swap the pod. Related products & ranges Shop pod kits Shop all vape kits Nic salt e-liquids More vaping guides MTL vs DTL vs RDL explained Nic salts explained

Choosing Between 0.6 and 0.8 OXVA Xlim Pods
Need new pods? Shop OXVA Xlim pods or the full OXVA Xlim range. Pick up two OXVA Xlim pods and they look identical from the outside. One says 0.6 ohm, the other says 0.8 ohm. But put them in your kit and they vape completely differently. Wrong choice and your setup will feel off no matter what wattage you run. I've sold both to thousands of customers at our Ecigone vape shop since the Xlim range launched. Most people know which they prefer within a few draws. Here's what each one actually does and how to get the best out of it. 0.6 Ohm vs 0.8 Ohm: The Short Version If you just want the answer, here it is. 0.6 Ohm 0.8 Ohm Draw Style Restricted direct lung (RDL) Mouth to lung (MTL) Best Wattage 23 to 28W 12 to 16W Throat Hit Softer, warmer Stronger, tighter Vapour More visible clouds Discreet, minimal Best Nic Strength 6mg to 12mg nicotine salts 10mg to 20mg nic salt Best VG/PG Ratio 60/40 or 50/50 50/50 Battery Drain Faster (higher wattage) Slower (lower wattage) Pod Life Slightly shorter Slightly longer Best For More flavour, more vapour Ex-smokers, stealth vaping That table covers the basics. Read on for the details behind each point. What 0.6 Ohm Pods Give You More vapour, more flavour, looser draw. You inhale straight to your lungs with a slight restriction, which vapers call restricted direct lung (RDL). Think of it as a step up from cigarette-style vaping without going full cloud chaser. Because the wattage sits higher at 23 to 28W, more e-liquid gets heated per puff. Dessert and fruit flavours really come alive on 0.6 ohm pods. You taste layers you'd miss on a tighter draw. Your battery won't last as long though. On an Xlim Go 2 with its 1000mAh battery, you'll feel the difference by mid-afternoon. Xlim Pro 3 and 3 Ultra have bigger batteries so they handle it better. What 0.8 Ohm Pods Give You This is the one for ex-smokers. You pull vapour into your mouth first, then inhale, just like a cigarette. That's mouth to lung (MTL) vaping and it's what most people switching from smoking are after. At 12 to 16W, you're running much less power than a 0.6 ohm pod. Less vapour comes out, but the throat hit is stronger and more concentrated. Pair it with 20mg nic salt and it scratches the itch that cigarettes left behind. Coil life is a bit longer too. Less heat going through the mesh means less wear, so you'll get an extra day or two from each pod before the flavour drops off. Wattage Settings by Pod Resistance This is where most people go wrong. Run a 0.8 ohm pod at 25W and you'll burn the coils out in two days. Stick a 0.6 ohm pod at 12W and you'll barely taste anything. Pod Resistance Minimum Sweet Spot Maximum 0.4 ohm 22W 26 to 30W 30W 0.6 ohm 18W 23 to 28W 30W 0.8 ohm 10W 12 to 16W 20W 1.2 ohm 8W 10 to 14W 18W On kits with a screen like the Pro 3, SQ Pro 2, and 3 Ultra, you set the wattage yourself. The chipset reads what pod you've put in and suggests a range. On the Xlim Go 2, it does it on its own. Flavour tasting weak on a 0.6 ohm pod? Bump it up 2W at a time. Getting a harsh vape on 0.8 ohm? Drop it down a notch. Small changes go a long way. Which E-Liquid Works Best Get the liquid wrong for your pod and you'll either burn through coils or wonder why the flavour is flat. For 0.8 Ohm Pods Nic salt at 10mg or 20mg, 50/50 VG/PG. Because the draw is tight and the wattage is low, each puff is concentrated. 20mg nic salt through a 0.8 ohm pod hits the spot without going overboard. Stay away from 70/30 VG or above. Thick liquid can't wick fast enough at lower wattages and you'll get dry hits. 50/50 is the safe bet every time. For 0.6 Ohm Pods Drop the nicotine down. 6mg to 12mg nic salt or 3mg to 6mg freebase. Both 50/50 and 60/40 VG/PG work well here since the higher wattage handles slightly thicker liquid without a problem. One thing to watch out for: 20mg nic salt at 25W hits much harder than you'd think. More vapour per draw means more nicotine per draw. If you're moving from 0.8 to 0.6 ohm pods, drop your strength down at the same time. Quick E-Liquid Pairing Table Pod Nic Salt Freebase VG/PG 0.6 ohm 6mg to 12mg 3mg to 6mg 50/50 or 60/40 0.8 ohm 10mg to 20mg 6mg to 12mg 50/50 1.2 ohm 20mg Not recommended 50/50 0.4 ohm 6mg to 10mg 3mg to 6mg 50/50 or 60/40 OXVA pods work best with 50/50 VG/PG e-liquids at the nicotine strengths listed above. If you want a matched option, our OX Passion Nic Salts range uses a 50/50 blend at 10mg and 20mg. Which Pod Fits Which Kit Good news here. All 0.6 and 0.8 ohm Xlim pods fit across most of the range. You don't need different pods for different kits. Pod Type Fits These Kits Xlim V3 (top fill) Xlim Go 2, Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2 DNA Xlim V2 (side fill) Xlim Go 2, Xlim Pro 3, older Xlim kits Xlim EZ Xlim Go 2, SQ Pro, older Xlim kits NeXlim and VPrime are the exceptions. They use their own pods and won't take Xlim pods at all. The full compatibility list is on our OXVA Pods page. Common Mistakes Running 0.8 ohm pods too hot. Anything above 20W and the coil burns out fast. Keep it between 12 and 16W. I see this one all the time when people switch from 0.6 to 0.8 and forget to drop the wattage. 20mg nic salt in a 0.6 ohm pod. Too much nicotine per puff for most people. Drop to 10mg or 12mg. Thick liquid in 0.8 ohm pods. 70/30 VG and above is too heavy. Stick with 50/50. Dry hits are almost always a wicking issue from liquid that's too thick for the pod. Writing off a resistance after one draw. Fresh coils need a few hours to break in properly. Give each pod half a day before you decide. How Pod Resistance Affects Cost Pod price is the same for both resistances. Where the cost differs is in how fast you go through liquid and how long each pod lasts. On 0.6 ohm, expect to go through 3 to 4ml of liquid per day. On 0.8 ohm, more like 2 to 3ml. Over a month that adds up, especially if you're buying 10ml bottles. 0.8 ohm pods also tend to last a day or two longer before the flavour fades. Less heat through the coil means less wear on the mesh. Not a huge difference week to week, but over a few months you'll buy fewer pods. Battery-wise, 0.8 ohm wins again. An Xlim Go 2 on 0.8 ohm pods will comfortably last a full day. The same kit on 0.6 ohm at double the wattage might need a top-up charge by evening. My Recommendation Coming off cigarettes? 0.8 ohm pods with 20mg of nic salt. That tight draw and concentrated throat hit is the closest thing to smoking you'll get from a vape. It's the setup I recommend to every new customer who's switching. Already vaping and want a bit more from your flavour? Give 0.6 ohm a go. Drop your nic strength to 10mg or 12mg, set the wattage around 25W, and see how you get on. Most people who try it don't go back. Not sure at all? Most OXVA Xlim vape Series kits come with a 0.6 and a 0.8 ohm pod in the box. Try each one for a day and you'll know. How to Use the OXVA NeXlim: Settings, Buttons & Modes Guide
Want the kit? Shop the OXVA NeXlim or browse all OXVA kits. There’s now a newer model too: the OXVA NeXlim 2 and compact NeXlim 2 Mini. This guide covers everything you need to know about using the OXVA NeXlim. Button functions, eco and boost modes, wattage settings, pod options, troubleshooting - all from months of real daily use. Looking to buy one? Shop the OXVA NeXlim vape kit here. Already got one and need help? Jump to the section you need below. The NeXlim covers 5 to 40W with Eco and Boost modes on a 1500mAh battery. For the full spec sheet, price and stock, see the OXVA NeXlim pod kit page. The rest of this guide is about using it day to day. How to Use the OXVA NeXlim Turning On Press the fire button five times quickly. The screen lights up and shows your current settings. Five clicks again to turn it off. Filling the Pod Pull the pod out of the kit Flip it over to find the silicone fill port on the side Lift the silicone plug Fill with e-liquid, leaving a small air gap at the top Close the plug and let the pod rest for 3 to 5 minutes before first use That wait time matters. Fresh vape coils need to soak up e-liquid before you vape. Skipping it risks a dry hit and can burn the coil on your first puff. First Draw Once the pod has soaked, slot it back into the kit. You can either press the fire button and inhale, or just draw on the mouthpiece. Auto-draw kicks in on its own. The screen shows your wattage, resistance, and battery level. Button Functions One main button on the side controls everything. Here's what each combination does. Action What It Does 5 clicks Turn on / turn off 3 clicks Switch between Eco and Boost mode Hold button and draw Manual fire (button activation) Just draw Auto-draw activation Button + up/down (on screen) Adjust wattage You don't need to use the button at all if you prefer auto-draw. Both activation methods work at the same time. Pick whichever feels more natural. Eco vs Boost Mode Simpler than most people think, this one. Eco mode lowers the power output to save battery. Slightly cooler vape, less vapour, but the battery stretches noticeably further. Good for days when you're out all day with no charger. Boost mode pushes the coil harder. More vapour, warmer vape, stronger flavour. Burns through the battery quicker but the taste difference is worth it when you want a fuller hit. Three clicks of the fire button swaps between them. The screen shows which mode you're in. Which Mode Should You Use Daily MTL vaping on a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod? Eco mode. You won't notice much flavour drop on the tighter pods and the battery goes further. Read our guide if you want to learn more about MTL versus DTL Vaping. On the 0.6 ohm pod I switch to boost. More vapour at higher wattage means the coil has more to work with and the flavour comes alive. RDL vapers will prefer boost almost every time. No harm keeping it on eco permanently. Pod life may stretch a bit longer too, since the coil stays cooler. Boost Mode Not Working Won't switch to boost? Pull the pod out and reseat it until it clicks. Still nothing? Try a fresh pod. Worn coils can block mode switching. Stuck in Eco Mode Same thing - reseat the pod first. Still stuck? Turn the kit off (five clicks), wait 10 seconds, power it back on, then try three clicks. A full restart sorts out most mode issues. Wattage Settings by Pod Every NeXlim pod has a wattage range. Stay inside it and you'll get the best flavour without killing pods early. Pod Resistance Style Wattage Range Best At 0.6 ohm 0.6 ohm RDL 20 to 40W 25 to 30W 0.8 ohm 0.8 ohm MTL 12 to 32W 14 to 18W 1.2 ohm 1.2 ohm MTL 10 to 25W 12 to 14W That "Best At" column comes from months of daily use. You can push higher or lower within the range, but those wattages hit the sweet spot between flavour and pod life. Your NeXlim reads the pod resistance automatically and suggests a starting wattage. Adjust from there using the button controls on the screen. Pod Options and Compatibility NeXlim pods only work in the NeXlim. Other Xlim kits use different pods and they won't cross over. Only exception in the OXVA range where pods aren't shared. The UK version is 2ml (TPD compliant). The international version is 4ml. All three resistances (0.6, 0.8, and 1.2 ohm) use dual-mesh coils with UniTech 2.0 wicking. The dual-mesh gives better flavour than single-coil pods across the board. Side-fill design with a silicone plug. How Long Do NeXlim Pods Last Expect 10 to 14 days from a pod of 50/50 nic salts. Sweet liquids cut that short. Fruit and menthol tend to go the distance; dessert and custard profiles gunk coils faster. Once flavour starts going dull or you catch a burnt note, bin the pod. Running a dead coil just ruins the vape. Best E-Liquid for the NeXlim 50/50 VG/PG nic salt at 10mg or 20mg in the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods. For the 0.6 ohm, 50/50 or 60/40 both work. Drop to 10mg at 0.6 ohm if 20mg feels like too much with the extra vapour. Freebase E-liquid works too - same ratios, same strengths, just a sharper throat hit at any given mg. OX Passion nic salts are OXVA's own line. 50/50, 20mg, and they pair well with the 0.8 ohm NeXlim pod. Airflow Control A slider on the bottom of the NeXlim adjusts airflow between tight MTL and looser RDL. Slide it fully closed for the tightest draw. This mimics a cigarette pull and works best with the 1.2 or 0.8 ohm pod. Slide it open for more air and a looser inhale. On the 0.6 ohm pod at higher wattage with open airflow, you get a full RDL vape. You can set it anywhere between the two extremes. Small adjustments make a noticeable difference to how the draw feels. Screen and Themes On the 0.85 inch colour screen you'll see battery level, wattage, puff count, coil resistance, and current mode (eco or boost). Three themes to pick from. Hold the button when the kit is unlocked to get into theme settings. Stays readable in direct sunlight. Dims after each draw to save battery. Puff Clear and Puff Counter Your puff count shows on screen and the NeXlim tracks it automatically. To reset it back to zero, go into the settings and find the puff clear option. Hold the button to confirm. This just resets the counter. It doesn't change any vaping settings. Some people reset it daily to track usage. Others reset when they put a new pod in to see how many puffs each pod lasts. Battery Life and Charging 1500mAh gets you through a full day on the 0.8 ohm pod in eco mode. Heavy use on 0.6 ohm in boost drains it faster - still a solid 8 to 10 hours though. USB-C at 2A. About 80% in an hour, full charge in 90 minutes. The screen shows the exact percentage so you're never guessing. Dead battery? Fifteen minutes on the cable gives you enough for a couple of hours. Quick desk charge while you work and you're sorted. [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_13] Troubleshooting NeXlim Not Turning On Plug it into a USB-C cable. If the screen shows a charging icon, the battery was just dead - wait a few minutes and try five clicks. Nothing on screen at all? Different cable, different plug. Some USB-C cables don't carry enough power. NeXlim Not Firing Pull the pod, check the contacts on the bottom for e-liquid. Wipe with a tissue, reseat it firmly. Still nothing? Fresh pod. A burnt-out coil triggers a safety cutoff and the kit won't fire until you swap it. Not Charging Different cable first. If no charging indicator shows with any cable, the port probably needs a clean. Dry cotton bud, gently inside. Lint and pocket dust build up there over time. Where the NeXlim Fits in the Xlim Range At 40W max output, the NeXlim is the highest-wattage pod kit in OXVA's lineup. Xlim Pro 2 and Pro 3 both cap at 30W. Trade-off: NeXlim pods only work in the NeXlim, while the rest of the Xlim range shares pods across kits. Want the most wattage and biggest flavour from OXVA? NeXlim. Want pod sharing across multiple kits? Xlim Pro 3 or 3 Ultra. Are ElfBars Safe? ElfBar Safety Guide for UK Vapers
Are They Safe? Short answer: Elf Bar vapes sold through authorised UK retailers and any online vape shop are TPD compliant and registered with the MHRA. They meet UK safety standards for nicotine content, e-liquid volume, and packaging. They're not risk free though. No vaping product is. The NHS says vaping is far less harmful than smoking, and Cancer Research UK confirms e-cigarettes don't contain tobacco or most of the toxic chemicals you'd find in cigarettes. That doesn't mean zero risk. It means lower risk than the alternative for adult smokers looking to switch. Not intended for non-smokers or anyone under 18. Ingredients Four ingredients inside every UK legal Elf Bar. Nothing exotic. Ingredient What It Does Propylene Glycol (PG) Carries flavour, gives throat hit. Food grade. Used in medicines and food. Vegetable Glycerin (VG) Creates the vapour. Food grade. Found in cosmetics and food products. Flavourings Food grade compounds. Different combinations for each Elf Bar flavour. Nicotine Salt 20mg/ml in standard UK pods. Smoother than freebase nicotine at the same strength. TPD rules mean the packaging has to list all ingredients and carry health warnings. No ingredients list on the box? Probably not genuine. Zero nicotine options are also available across some ranges if you've already stepped down. Do Elf Bars Contain Diacetyl? This one comes up a lot. Diacetyl got linked to "popcorn lung" years ago when factory workers inhaled high concentrations in food manufacturing plants. It's been banned from UK e-liquids under TPD rules since then. Elf Bar says their UK products don't contain it. Buy genuine from authorised UK retailers and you're covered by those regulations. Counterfeits? No idea what's in them. Nobody can verify it. Nicotine Content 20mg/ml nic salt e-liquids. That's what you get in standard UK Elf Bar pods, and it's the maximum allowed under TPD law. Nic salt absorbs faster than freebase nicotine so the hit comes quicker with less throat harshness at the same strength. Elf Bar vs Cigarettes: Nicotine Comparison People ask this constantly, but comparing nicotine in an Elf Bar to a cigarette isn't as simple as matching numbers. A cigarette holds roughly 10-12mg of nicotine. You only absorb about 1-2mg of that per cigarette though. Elf Bar pods deliver nicotine through vapour instead of smoke, so the absorption works differently. Factor Cigarette Elf Bar (20mg) Nicotine per unit ~10-12mg per cigarette 20mg/ml in 2ml pod Nicotine absorbed ~1-2mg per cigarette Varies by draw length and frequency Delivery method Combustion (burns tobacco) Vapour (heats e-liquid) Tar Yes No Carbon monoxide Yes No The nicotine level isn't really the point though. It's everything else. Cigarettes burn tobacco and produce tar, carbon monoxide, and thousands of other chemicals in the process. Elf Bars heat liquid. Nothing burns. Elf Bar Nicotine Strength Options 20mg nic salt comes as standard across all Elf Bar refill pods. Some ranges stock 10mg too. If you've stepped down completely, zero nicotine pods are available. Too strong at 20mg? The ELFLIQ nic salt e-liquid range is 5mg, 10mg, and 20mg for refillable kits. Our nic salt strengths guide covers which strength works for different habits. Side Effects Switching from cigarettes to vaping can throw up a few things your body isn't used to. Most of it settles down within a week or two. Coughing and Sore Throat Really common in the first few days. Your throat's adjusting to vapour instead of smoke and the sensation is different. Shorter, gentler draws help a lot. Still coughing after a couple of weeks? Worth a chat with your GP. 20mg nic salt doesn't mess about either. That strength hits the throat firmly. Dropping to 10mg or switching to a lower powered pod kit with refillable pods takes the edge off if it's too much. Feeling Sick or Dizzy That's the nicotine. Happens when you vape more than your body can handle in one go. Chain vaping and long deep draws are the usual culprits. Space your puffs out a bit and drink some water. Worth saying: if you weren't a smoker before and an Elf Bar is making you feel rough, that's nicotine hitting a body that isn't used to it. These products exist as a smoking alternative for adults, not as something to pick up fresh. Allergic Reactions Uncommon but it happens. Some people react to propylene glycol with skin irritation, a rash, or extra throat discomfort. If something feels off after vaping that you don't normally get, stop using it and talk to your GP. Overheating and Safety Issues Your Elf Bar getting slightly warm while you vape? Normal. The battery and replacement coils both generate heat during use. That's just physics. What's not normal is a vape that feels properly hot, won't stop producing vapour on its own, or gets warm sitting in your pocket when you haven't touched it. Issue What's Going On What You Should Do Warm during use Normal. Battery and coil working. Nothing. Carry on. Hot when not in use Battery fault or auto-firing. Stop using it straight away. Don't try charging it. Won't stop firing Auto-fire fault. Coil stays active on its own. Pull the pod out if you can. Don't leave it sitting somewhere flammable. Smoking by itself Internal short or liquid on the contacts. Stop using. Take it to a battery recycling point. Nine times out of ten, overheating traces back to counterfeit products, damaged batteries, or someone leaving their vape baking on a car dashboard in summer. Buy genuine, store at room temperature, and most of this never happens. If your Elf Bar starts firing on its own, don't try opening it or fixing it yourself. Pod out, non-flammable surface, battery recycling point. That's the lot. How to Tell If Your Elf Bar Is Genuine Counterfeits are the real safety problem. Fake Elf Bars don't go through TPD testing, so what's actually inside them is anyone's guess. Wrong nicotine levels, unknown chemicals, dodgy batteries. All possible. Every genuine Elf Bar has a scratch panel on the packaging with an authentication code underneath. Enter that code on Elf Bar's website and it'll tell you straight away if the product is real. Fakes either fail the check or show up as a code that's already been used a hundred times. Red flags to watch for: Health warnings missing or badly printed No TPD compliance info anywhere on the box Price that seems too good to be true Spelling mistakes on the packaging Taste or feel that's noticeably different from the same flavour you've had before Ecigone is an authorised Elf Bar stockist. Authentication codes verified on every product we sell. UK Vaping Regulations and Elf Bar Everything Elf Bar sells in the UK has to pass through the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). Here's what that actually means in practice: TPD Rule What It Means Max e-liquid volume 2ml per prefilled pod, 10ml per bottle for refills Max nicotine strength 20mg/ml. Nothing stronger is legal in the UK. Health warnings Must be printed on every box MHRA registration Every product registered before it goes on sale Ingredient disclosure Full ingredients list on the packaging Child resistant packaging Required across the board Since June 2025, single use disposable vapes have been banned in the UK. Elf Bar made the switch to rechargeable pod kits with replaceable prefilled pods before the deadline. The Elf Bar 600 Prefilled Pod Kit, Dual 10K, JoinOne15, and Plus 50 are all legal rechargeable alternatives you can buy right now. Our disposable vape ban guide covers the full picture of what changed and why. Safety Tips Check the authentication code on every pack. Takes 30 seconds and rules out counterfeits. Leave 20-30 seconds between draws. Coils overheat when you chain vape. Give it a breather. Room temperature storage. Hot cars, direct sunlight, and damp conditions all damage batteries and e-liquid quality. Standard USB-C cable for charging. Don't leave it plugged in overnight or unattended for hours. Burnt taste, overheating, or auto-firing? Replace it. Don't try to fix a faulty vape. Keep them away from children and pets. Nicotine is toxic if swallowed. All Elf Bar products are for adults only. Battery recycling point when you're done. Household bins aren't the place for lithium batteries. Elf Bar Safety: FAQs Are Elf Bars safe to use daily?Used as intended, a genuine Elf Bar bought from a UK retailer is far less harmful than smoking, though not risk-free. Always buy genuine, avoid fakes, and store the device safely. Related products & ranges Shop Elfliq nic salts by Elf Bar More vaping guides UK vaping laws explained

Troubleshooting Your Vaporesso: Common Problems and How to Fix Them
Need a replacement? Browse Vaporesso kits and pods. If your Vaporesso has stopped working, won't charge, or is flashing lights at you, this guide covers every common issue and how to sort it. Each section starts with a quick check and then walks through the fix step by step. For specs on the kits referenced below, the Vaporesso XROS 5, XROS 5 Mini, and XROS Pro 2 product pages have full details. Jump to your problem: Vaporesso not working At check error Not charging Flashing lights Not hitting or pulling Check atomizer error How to reset XROS 5 Mini not working Vibe not working Balance wire fault Vaporesso Not Working This is the most common issue we hear about. Your Vaporesso won't fire, there's no LED response, and nothing happens when you draw or press the button. Quick check before anything else: Make sure it's turned on. Five rapid clicks of the fire button turns most Vaporesso kits on and off. It's easy to pocket-lock without realising. Check the battery isn't dead. Plug it in for 15 minutes and try again. If the charging LED doesn't light up either. Check the pod is seated properly. Pull it out and push it back in until you feel the click. If it still won't work after those checks: Try a different Vaporesso pod. A faulty pod can stop the whole kit from firing, and swapping it is the quickest way to rule that out. Clean the pod contacts on both the pod and inside the battery well. Use a dry cotton bud to clear any e-liquid residue from the metal pins. Try a different USB-C cable and charge for at least 30 minutes. The cable that came with your phone might not deliver enough power. If your kit has a screen, check for error messages. "At check" and "check atomizer" both have their own sections below. Vaporesso not working after charging? This usually means the pod connection is the problem rather than the battery. Clean the contacts with a cotton bud, try a different pod, and make sure the pod's clicking in with no wobble. Vaporesso At Check Error "At check" shows on your Vaporesso screen when the kit can't detect the pod or coils properly. Some models display this as "check atomizer" instead. Both mean the same thing and the fixes are identical. What "at check" means: Your kit's checking the atomizer resistance and can't get a stable reading. This can be the pod, the coil, or the connection between them. How to fix at check on your Vaporesso: Pull the pod out and check for e-liquid on the base contacts. Wipe both the pod pins and the contacts inside the kit with a dry cloth. If you're using a tank with replaceable coils (Luxe XR Max 2, iTank T), unscrew the coil and screw it back in hand-tight. A loose coil gives an unstable reading. Try a different pod or coil. If the error clears with a new one, the original pod or coil was the problem. Check for liquid inside the 510 connection on sub-ohm kits. Use a twisted tissue to dry it out. At check on the XROS Pro 2: The Pro 2 shows this when the pod magnets aren't making clean contact. Pull the pod, wipe the base, and reseat it firmly. If it keeps coming back, the pod's seal may have warped. Try a fresh pod. Check on the Luxe XR Max 2: Usually the coil inside the pod. Push the coil in firmly and make sure there's no play when you wiggle it. Error Most Likely Cause First Fix At check Dirty pod contacts Clean contacts, reseat pod At check (tank) Loose coil Tighten coil hand-tight At check (persists) Faulty pod/coil Try a different pod or coil Vaporesso Not Charging Your Vaporesso is plugged in but nothing's happening. No charging light, no screen activity, or the light comes on but the battery never fills up. No charging light at all: Try a different USB-C cable. This fixes the problem more often than you'd expect. Not all cables carry enough current for fast charging. Try a different wall adapter or USB port. Some laptop USB ports don't supply enough power. Check the charging port for lint or pocket debris. Use a toothpick to gently clear anything blocking the connection. If the port looks damaged or loose, the USB connection may need repairing. Get in touch and we'll check options. Charging light comes on but battery won't fill: Leave it plugged in for at least 45 minutes. If the battery was completely flat, some kits take a while before the indicator updates. Try charging from a wall socket rather than a laptop or PC. Wall adapters give more consistent power. Charged but still not working: This usually means the battery is fine but the pod connection has an issue. Symptom Try This First No light when plugged in Different cable Light on, won't fill Wall adapter, wait 45 mins Charged but won't fire Clean pod contacts Red light flashing while charging Normal on some kits, means charging Vaporesso Flashing Lights and What They Mean Vaporesso vape kits use LED colours and flash patterns to tell you what's going on. The colour matches your current battery level: green means above 60%, blue is 30-60%, and red is below 30%. Here's what each pattern means. During normal vaping: The LED flashes in green, blue, or red while you draw. This just shows your battery level. Green is good, blue is getting there, red means charge soon. 3 flashes then the kit stops working: Three flashes in the current battery colour means the voltage is too low. Charge the kit. If it's already been on charge and still shows 3 flashes, the battery may be over-discharged. Leave it plugged in for at least 30 minutes before trying again. 5 flashes then the kit stops working: Five flashes is more serious. This can mean: Low resistance or short circuit: The pod or coil has an electrical fault. Remove the pod, check for liquid on the contacts, and try a different pod or coil. High temperature: The kit has overheated. Let it cool down for 10 minutes before trying again. No load or high resistance: The kit can't detect the pod. Clean the contacts and reseat the pod. 8-second timeout: You've been drawing for more than 8 seconds in one go. This is a safety cutoff. Take shorter draws. While charging: Red breathing (pulsing) light: Normal. The kit is charging. Solid green light: Fully charged. Unplug it. No light while plugged in: Try a different USB-C cable and adapter. 5 clicks of the fire button: The LED flashes to confirm the kit is turning on or off. Five rapid clicks toggles power on most Vaporesso models. Flash Pattern What It Means What to Do 3 flashes, stops working Low voltage Charge the kit 5 flashes, stops working Short circuit, no pod, or overheat Reseat or replace pod, let it cool Flashes during 8s draw Safety timeout Take shorter draws Red breathing while plugged in Charging normally Wait for green Solid green while plugged in Fully charged Unplug Green/blue/red during draw Battery level indicator Normal use No light at all Dead battery or fault Charge with different cable Vaporesso Not Hitting or Pulling You're drawing on your Vaporesso but getting little or no vapour. The LED might flash normally but nothing comes through. This is different from "not working" because the kit is responding, it's just not producing vapour. For draw-activated kits (XROS 5 Mini, Vibe): Check the airflow isn't blocked. On the XROS 5 Mini, make sure the airflow slider isn't fully closed. Draw more slowly. A sharp, hard pull can confuse the draw sensor. A steady two to three second inhale works better. Remove the pod and blow gently into the airflow slot to clear any condensation from the sensor. If the pod's nearly empty, the wicking can't keep up. Refill or swap the pod. For button-activated kits (XROS 5, XROS Pro 2, Luxe XR Max 2): Check the kit isn't locked. On most models, click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to lock or unlock. The power on/off function (5 clicks) still works while locked. If the screen shows a wattage but no vapour comes out, the coil may be burnt or flooded. Try a new pod or coil. Check the airflow is open. A fully closed airflow restricts vapour even though the coil is firing. Auto-draw not working on the XROS Pro 2: The Pro 2 has both button and draw activation. If auto-draw stops responding, the draw sensor may have liquid on it. Remove the pod, dry the inside of the battery well, and leave it to air for 10 minutes. Check Atomizer Error on Vaporesso "Check atomizer" is similar to "at check" but specifically means the kit can't read the coil resistance at all. You'll see this on screen-equipped models like the XROS 5, XROS 5 Nano, XROS Pro 2, and Armour Ultra. How to fix check atomizer: Remove the pod or tank completely. Wait five seconds and reinsert it. If you're using a sub-ohm tank, unscrew the coil and check the o-rings. A missing or damaged o-ring can break the electrical contact. Clean the 510 connection (the threaded part on top of the mod) with a twisted tissue. E-liquid in here causes false readings. Try a different coil. If the error clears, the old coil is dead. Check atomizer on the XROS 5 Nano: The Nano's touchscreen shows this when the pod magnets aren't aligned. Push the pod in firmly and make sure it's centred, not sitting at an angle. Short atomizer: The coil resistance is reading too low for the kit to fire safely. It's usually a damaged coil. Replace it with a fresh one. Error Message What It Means Fix Check atomizer Can't read coil Reseat pod/coil, clean contacts Short atomizer Coil resistance too low Replace coil No atomizer No pod/coil detected Insert pod, check connection How to Reset Your Vaporesso A reset clears glitchy behaviour, resets the puff counter, or fixes a kit that's stuck on a weird setting. The method depends on which kit you've got. XROS 5 (screen model): Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to enter the mode settings menu. Use the fire button to cycle through options. Wait 3 seconds to save and exit. To reset the puff counter on the XROS 5, click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds. Select YES when prompted and wait 3 seconds to confirm. XROS 5 Nano (touchscreen): The Nano has a RESTORE option integrated into its touchscreen menu. Navigate to settings and select RESTORE to return the kit to factory defaults. XROS Pro 2 (screen model): Click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds to enter the puff reset screen. Click the fire button to choose YES or NO. Wait 3 seconds to exit. For full settings changes, click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to enter the mode menu. XROS 5 Mini (no screen): The Mini doesn't have a traditional reset since it's draw-activated only with no buttons or menus. If it's misbehaving, remove the pod, plug it in to confirm it charges, then reinsert the pod. That's the closest thing to a reset on this kit. Luxe XR Max 2: Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds to access the settings menu. Navigate using the up and down buttons. Armour Ultra and other AXON chip mods: Click the fire button 5 times to turn off, then 5 times to turn back on. For mode settings, click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds and use the adjustment buttons to navigate. The Armour Ultra also has a physical lock slider on the side for quick locking without button presses. Vaporesso XROS 5 Mini Not Working If you are troubleshooting the previous-generation model instead, the Vaporesso XROS 4 Mini page covers spec details and pod fitment for that older device. The XROS 5 Mini is draw-activated only with no fire button and no screen. That makes troubleshooting slightly different because you can't see error messages or manually fire the coil. LED doesn't light up at all: Charge it for at least 20 minutes using a different cable from the one you've been using. If the LED still doesn't appear during charging, the battery may have failed. Get in touch about a replacement. LED lights up but no vapour: The pod isn't seated properly. Pull it out and push it back in firmly until you feel the magnetic click. Clean the contacts on both the pod base and inside the kit with a dry cotton bud. Try a different pod. If a new pod works, the old one was the issue. Draw more slowly. The XROS 5 Mini's draw sensor needs a steady, gentle pull rather than a sharp inhale. LED flashes but cuts out mid-draw: The battery's low. Charge it up. If it cuts out with a full charge, the draw sensor may have liquid on it. Remove the pod and let the kit air dry for 15 minutes with the pod slot facing down. XROS 5 Mini stopped working suddenly: Usually one of two things. Either the battery's completely flat (charge it), or e-liquid has reached the draw sensor through the pod contacts (clean and dry everything). Vaporesso Vibe Not Working The Vibe SE and Vibe Nano are draw-activated pod kits that get a lot of "pod check" errors. Vibe pod check error: Pull the pod out and check for liquid around the contacts. Wipe the pod base and the inside of the kit with a tissue. Push the pod back in until it clicks firmly. If "pod check" keeps showing, try a different pod. The contacts on the original may be worn. Vibe SE not working: Charge it first. The Vibe SE has a small battery, so it runs flat quickly with heavy use. If the LED flashes red when you draw, it's out of charge. If no lights appear at all, try a different cable and adapter. Vibe SE flashing red: Red flashing on the Vibe usually means low battery. Plug it in. If it flashes red while charging and then stops, the charge may have completed. Try drawing on it. Vaporesso Balance Wire Fault This error appears on dual-battery Vaporesso mods like the Armour Max and older Gen series. It means the mod has detected a voltage difference between the two batteries. What it means: Your two batteries aren't at the same charge level. This is a safety warning because mismatched batteries can cause problems. How to fix it: Remove both batteries and charge them externally in a dedicated battery charger until both are fully charged. Always use a matched pair of batteries. Same brand, same age, same capacity. Don't mix old and new batteries. If you only have one battery charger bay, charge one at a time and make sure both reach full charge before reinserting. If the error keeps appearing with fully charged matched batteries, one of the batteries may be degraded. Replace both as a pair. Note: This error only applies to dual-battery mods with removable batteries. If you're using a kit with a integrated battery like the Armour Ultra or any of the XROS 5 range, you won't see this message. Don't ignore the warning if it does appear on an older mod. Mismatched batteries can reduce performance and potentially cause safety issues. Vaporesso Leaking or Spitting If your Vaporesso pod is leaking from the bottom, air hole, or into your mouth, we've covered it separately. The fixes are different from the troubleshooting steps on this page. Read the full guide: Why Your Vaporesso Pod Is Leaking and How to Fix It When to Fix vs When to Replace Not every problem is worth fixing. Here's a rough guide for when to troubleshoot and when to move on. Worth Fixing Time to Replace Pod connection issues (clean contacts) Water damage (dropped in liquid) Charging cable problems (swap cable) Charging port physically broken off Pod or coil failure (swap for new) Screen completely dead after reset Airflow blockage (clean and dry) Kit gets hot during normal use Software glitch (factory reset) Battery won't hold any charge If your kit's beyond fixing, get in touch and we'll check your options before you spend anything on a replacement. If you're choosing what to move to, the current XROS pod kit lineup keeps pods compatible across generations. Vaporesso XROS Series Buying Guide: Which Model to Pick | Ecigone
Skip to shopping: browse the full Vaporesso XROS range - or read on to pick your model. This is a buying guide for the Vaporesso XROS series. The current lineup has four kits based around the same pod platform - the XROS 5, the XROS 5 Mini, the XROS 5 Nano, and the XROS Pro 2. Every model takes the same XROS pods from 0.4 ohm to 1.2 ohm, charges over USB-C, and handles both nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids. The difference comes down to battery size, screens, controls, and how much you want to tinker with settings. This guide walks through each one so you can figure out which XROS suits how you vape. We'll cover specs, pods, and the key differences between all four before you buy. You can also see every current kit, pod, and accessory together on the wider XROS lineup page. The Current XROS Lineup Vaporesso refreshed the XROS range in 2025 with three new kits and an upgraded Pro model. Here's what you're choosing between right now. Model Battery Screen Activation Modes XROS 5 1500mAh 0.88" colour Draw + button Smart, Normal, Power, Eco XROS 5 Mini 1500mAh LED only Draw only Smart (auto) XROS 5 Nano 1600mAh 1.09" touchscreen Draw + button Eco, Normal, Power XROS Pro 2 2000mAh 0.96" TFT Draw + button Wattage control (0.1W) All four take the same COREX 3.0 pods from 0.4 ohm up to 1.2 ohm, and older COREX 2.0 pods still fit too. All four ship with COREX 3.0 in the box. Every one of them charges over USB-C with fast charging as standard. XROS 5 - the everyday all-rounder The XROS 5 is the middle ground of the range. You get a 0.88 inch colour screen, a fire button and auto draw, plus four power modes to pick from. Battery's 1500mAh, which is 50% bigger than the old XROS 4 and lasts most people a full day on MTL. Four modes give you some control without overcomplicating it. Smart reads your pod and sorts the wattage on its own. Normal lets you set it yourself between 15W and 30W. Power cranks the output up for more flavour. Eco dials it back to stretch battery life when you're running low. Two COREX 3.0 pods in the box at 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm. The 0.6 suits a looser RDL draw on 50/50 juice and the 0.8 gives a tighter MTL pull on nic salts. USB-C 3A charging hits 80% in about 20 minutes. Fourteen colours available across leather, silk, opal, and carbon finishes. If you want a screen and some manual control but don't need the full wattage precision of the Pro 2, this is the one. XROS 5 Mini - the compact option The XROS 5 Mini strips it right back. There's no screen, no buttons, and you can't change the wattage yourself. You fill a pod, slot it in, and inhale. Smart Mode handles everything automatically by reading the pod resistance and picking the right wattage. Battery's the same 1500mAh as the full XROS 5, which gives you a full day on MTL without thinking about it. One COREX 3.0 pod in the box at 0.8 ohm. The airflow slider on the side is the only manual control you've got. Tighten it right down for MTL or open it up for a looser RDL draw. USB-C 2A charging gets you to 80% in 20 minutes. Fourteen colours here too, including some leather edition finishes. This is the one for anyone who's switching from disposables or just doesn't want to mess about with settings. XROS 5 Nano - the pocket pick The XROS 5 Nano is the odd one out because it weighs 86g and has a 1.09 inch touchscreen. That's a real touchscreen at 311 PPI, not just an LED indicator. You swipe through 29 wallpapers, check battery percentage, and swap between three power modes without pressing any buttons. This battery is actually the biggest of the three XROS 5 models at 1600mAh. Eco stretches it over a full day, and even on Power mode most vapers get through to evening. Two COREX 3.0 pods come in the box at 0.4 ohm and 0.8 ohm, so you've got an RDL and MTL option straight away. Eight colours available on the Nano, fewer than the other XROS 5 models. If you want the lightest kit in the range with a full touchscreen, this is it. The touchscreen takes a minute to get used to compared to button controls, but once you've figured out the swipe gestures it's quick to navigate. XROS Pro 2 - the premium choice The XROS Pro 2 is the one you go for when battery life matters more than anything else. 2000mAh is the biggest in the XROS range by a long way and most vapers get two to three days between charges. It's also the only XROS with wattage control down to 0.1W increments, giving you the most precise output of the four. The 0.96 inch TFT screen shows wattage, resistance, puffs, and battery level. Super Pulse mode is the key thing here. It monitors battery voltage and adjusts output automatically so your first puff matches your last. Your vape stays consistent at 5% battery the same as it does at 100%, with no weak hits as the charge drops. Made from aerospace alloy at just 65g despite the 2000mAh battery, and it comes with two COREX 3.0 pods at 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm. Seven colours to pick from and a slide lock on the side stops it firing in your pocket. If you vape heavily or just hate charging, the Pro 2 is the clear pick. XROS Pods: What Fits What Every kit in the current XROS range takes the same pods. You don't need to worry about buying the wrong one. Pod Ohm Style E-Liquid All 4 Kits COREX 3.0 0.4 RDL 50/50 Yes COREX 3.0 0.6 RDL 50/50 Yes COREX 3.0 0.8 MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 2.0 0.8 MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 2.0 1.2 Tight MTL Nic salts Yes COREX 3.0 is the newer pod with improved replacement coils. Flavour lasts longer and airflow's smoother than the 2.0 versions. If you've got old COREX 2.0 pods lying around they still fit in all four kits, so nothing goes to waste. If you're not sure which resistance to start with, the nic salt strengths guide covers which strength works best with each pod. And our MTL vs DTL vs RDL guide explains the different draw styles if you're not sure which one you prefer. XROS 5 vs XROS Pro 2 This is the comparison most people are weighing up. Both have screens, both have button activation, and both take the same pods. The differences come down to battery, precision, and size. Spec XROS 5 XROS Pro 2 Battery 1500mAh 2000mAh Screen 0.88" colour 0.96" TFT Wattage Control Mode-based (Smart/Normal/Power/Eco) Manual 0.1W increments Charging 3A (80% in 20 mins) USB-C (full in under 30 mins) Weight 68g 65g Super Pulse No Yes Colours 14 7 The XROS 5 gives you four preset modes and a smaller colour screen. For most vapers that's more than enough control. The Pro 2 steps it up with 0.1W wattage adjustments, Super Pulse for consistent output across the full charge, and 500mAh more battery. Pick the XROS 5 if you want something straightforward with enough options to tweak. Go Pro 2 if battery life and precise wattage control are top of your list. XROS 5 vs XROS 5 Mini Both share the same 1500mAh battery, but that's about where the similarities end. The XROS 5 has a screen, four power modes, and dual activation with a fire button. The Mini has no screen, one auto mode, and draw activation only. If you like adjusting wattage and seeing your stats on screen, that rules the Mini out. The Mini's the better shout for simplicity though. You don't have settings to configure or modes to cycle through. Smart Mode reads the pod and does it all on its own. It's the closest thing to a disposable experience you can get from a refillable kit, and that's exactly who it's aimed at. People switching from disposable vapes tend to find the Mini easier to get on with because there's nothing to learn. XROS 5 Nano vs XROS 5 Mini The Nano weighs 86g and has a touchscreen. The Mini doesn't have a screen at all. That's the biggest gap between these two. Both are compact kits aimed at people who want something small and portable. The Nano gives you three power modes and a battery percentage readout on the touchscreen. The Mini gives you Smart Mode and an LED that tells you roughly how much charge you've got left. If you want to check your exact battery level or swap between Eco and Power mode depending on your day, the Nano handles that. If you'd rather just inhale and not think about it, the Mini keeps it simpler. Which XROS Pod Should I Use? People get confused about this one, especially with COREX 2.0 and 3.0 both available. COREX 3.0 pods are the newer version and they're what Vaporesso ship in every current kit. They last longer before the flavour drops off and the airflow is smoother through the mesh coil. If you're buying replacement pods now, stick with the COREX 3.0 versions. For the resistance itself, it depends how you vape. The 0.8 ohm is the most popular because it gives a tight MTL draw that works well with 10mg and 20mg nic salts. The 0.6 ohm is looser for people who like a bit more vapour on 50/50 juice. The 0.4 ohm is the loosest draw in the range for full RDL vaping. If you're coming from a disposable, start with the 0.8 ohm COREX 3.0 and 20mg nic salt. It's the closest match to the draw you're used to. Still Available: XROS 4 Range The XROS 4 and XROS 4 Mini are still in the sale section while stock lasts. They won't be restocked once they've sold through. Pods are the same across both generations, so picking up a discounted XROS 4 kit won't leave you stuck for replacement pods later. Cooler, lighter vape. How to change modes: Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds. The screen flashes the current mode. Click the fire button again to cycle through NOR → PWR → ECO. Stop clicking when you've landed on the mode you want. Wait 3 seconds and the kit saves your selection. Which mode should you use? Start on NOR. Most people stay there. PWR is worth trying if you want more warmth or vapour, and ECO is handy when you're out all day and can't charge. Note: These three modes only appear when you're using 0.6Ω, 0.7Ω, 0.8Ω, 1.0Ω, or 1.2Ω pods. If you're using a 0.4Ω pod, the 3-click shortcut gives you direct wattage control instead. How to Change Wattage This depends on which pod you've got in. With 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω pods: There's no specific wattage number to set. You pick between NOR, PWR, and ECO using the 3-click method above, and the kit handles the wattage for you based on your pod's resistance. With 0.4Ω pods (up to 30W): Click the fire button 3 times within 2 seconds. The screen shows the current wattage. Click the fire button to increase the wattage. Wait 3 seconds to save. The 0.4Ω pod lets you fine-tune output up to 30W, giving you more control over warmth and vapour than the three preset modes. How to Fill and Refill the Kit Same process on both the XROS 5 and Mini - they share the same XROS COREX 3.0 pods. Pull the black mouthpiece upward to detach it from the pod. It clicks off. Look for the fill hole next to the centre chimney. The fill hole is about 3.5mm wide. Place your e-liquid nozzle into the fill hole and squeeze gently. Fill until the liquid is near the top, but leave a small gap. Push the mouthpiece back on firmly until it clicks shut. Wait 5 minutes before your first draw. This lets the cotton soak up the liquid inside the coil. Don't fill through the centre hole. That's the airflow chimney, not the fill port. If liquid goes down there, you'll get gurgling and spitting. How to refill: Top up whenever the liquid drops below the wicking holes on the side of the pod. Keeping the level above the holes prevents dry hits and burnt cotton. You don't need to empty the pod before topping up. How to prime a new pod: Fill it and leave it to soak for 5 minutes. Then take a few gentle draws without pressing the fire button. This pulls liquid into the coil and prevents a burnt taste on your first real hit. How to Empty a XROS 5 Pod Switching flavours? You'll want to drain the old liquid out first. Pull the XROS pod out of the kit. Remove the mouthpiece by pulling it upward. Turn the pod upside down over a tissue or sink and let the liquid drain out through the fill hole. Wrap the pod in tissue and blow gently through the base to push out any remaining liquid from the coil area. Let the pod dry for a few minutes before refilling with a different flavour. Mixing leftover liquid with a new flavour won't damage anything. The taste will be muddled for the first few draws until the old liquid works through. Airflow Settings There's a slider on the back of both the XROS 5 and Mini. Move it to change how tight or loose the draw feels. Slide left (fully open): Loose, airy draw. More vapour, less throat hit. Closer to a direct-lung vape. Slide right (fully closed): Tight draw. Stronger throat hit, less vapour. Closer to a cigarette. Somewhere in the middle: Most people land here. Start halfway and adjust from there. XROS 5 Mini airflow: Works the same way. Same toggle, same range of adjustment. One thing to watch: don't close the airflow all the way. Fully shut, the pod can't draw liquid into the coil fast enough, and you'll get dry hits. Screen: Themes, Display and Animation The 0.88-inch screen on the XROS 5 has a lot into a small space. Here's what you're looking at and how to change it. How to change the screen theme: Click the fire button 2 times within 2 seconds. The screen cycles to the next theme. Keep double-clicking to cycle through all 6 options. Stop on the one you want and it saves automatically. What the screen shows: Display Element What It Means NOR / PWR / ECO Current power mode Wattage number (0.4Ω pod only) Current power output in watts Ω number (e.g. 0.8Ω) Resistance of the inserted pod Battery bar Remaining battery level Puff number Total puffs since last reset How to turn animation on or off: Tap the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to open settings. Navigate to Settings. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to confirm. Navigate to the animation toggle and hold for 2 seconds to switch it on or off. Turning animation off can help save a small amount of battery life. How to Lock and Unlock the Device There are actually two separate locks on the XROS 5, which trips people up a bit. Screen lock (stops accidental settings changes): Click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds. Select SCREEN LOCK from the menu. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to lock. The power on/off function (5 clicks) still works while locked. To unlock, click the fire button 4 times again. Button lock (disables the fire button but keeps draw activation): Press the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds. Select BUTTON ON/OFF. Hold the fire button for 2 seconds to toggle. With button activation off, you can still vape by drawing on the mouthpiece. The 5-click on/off function still works even with the button locked. The button lock is the one most people want. Stop the kit firing in your pocket while still letting you vape through draw activation when you take it out. Puff Counter and Clear Puff Your screen keeps a running tally of every puff since the counter was last cleared. What clear puff means: It just resets that number back to zero. Nothing else changes - your mode, wattage, and all other settings stay exactly as they were. How to reset the puff counter: Click the fire button 4 times within 2 seconds to open settings. Navigate to Settings, then hold the fire button for 2 seconds. Select the puff clear option. Confirm by clicking the fire button. It's purely a personal tracker. Clearing it won't touch your power or mode settings. Charging the Kit Both kits have a 1500mAh battery and charge through USB-C. Plug in, and you'll see the charge status straight away. Plug the included USB-C cable into the port on the bottom of the kit. Connect the other end to a wall adapter or USB port. The screen shows the charge percentage in real time (XROS 5) or the LED breathes red (Mini). 100% on screen or a solid green LED means fully charged. How to tell when your Vaporesso is charged: Indicator XROS 5 XROS 5 Mini Charging Screen shows percentage LED breathes red Fully charged Screen shows 100% LED stays solid green Low battery Red battery bar on screen LED flashes red when drawing Any standard USB-C cable works fine. Just avoid those fast-charge phone adapters - they push more power than the kit's made for. Setting Up the XROS 5 Mini The Mini is the stripped-back version. There's no screen, no fire button, and modes aren't adjustable. You inhale, it fires. That's the whole thing. First-time setup: Remove the sticker from the pre-installed pod if it's your first time using the kit. Pull the pod out and remove the mouthpiece. Fill the pod through the fill hole (not the centre chimney). Replace the mouthpiece and push the pod back into the kit. Wait 5 minutes for the coil to soak. Inhale through the mouthpiece. The LED will flash to show the kit is working. Mini LED colours: Green means the battery is above 60%. Blue means 30-60%. Red means below 30% and it's time to charge. Mini airflow: Same slider on the back as the XROS 5. Slide left for a looser draw, right for a tighter draw. The Mini uses the same XROS COREX 3.0 pods as the standard XROS 5. If you own both kits, you can swap pods between them. What E-Liquid to Use Thinner liquids work best. Thick, high-VG juice can't wick fast enough in a pod coil, so you'll end up with dry hits. E-Liquid Type Works With XROS 5? Best For Nic salts (50/50) Yes, ideal Smooth throat hit, higher nicotine strengths (10-20mg) 50/50 freebase Yes Lower nicotine strengths (3-6mg), good flavour 70/30 or higher VG Not recommended Too thick for XROS pods, can cause dry hits If you're switching from disposables, start with a nic salt at 10mg or 20mg. That's the closest match to what disposables use. For more on pairing flavours with the XROS 5, see our best e-liquids for the XROS 5 guide. How Long Do XROS 5 Pods Last? Depends on how much you vape and what liquid you're using. Here's a rough guide: Usage Level Approximate Pod Life Heavy (refilling 1-2 times daily) 4-7 days Moderate (refilling every other day) 7-14 days Light (refilling twice a week) 2-3 weeks Sweet and dessert flavours tend to shorten pod life because the sweeteners coat the coil faster. Fruit and menthol flavours are generally kinder on coils. When to change your pod: The flavour drops off, you get a slight burnt taste, or vapour production decreases. The liquid looking darker than when you filled it is another sign. Replacement pods come in packs with different resistance options across the COREX 3.0 and COREX 2.0 ranges. The 0.8Ω is best for a tighter, cigarette-style draw. The 0.6Ω gives a slightly looser draw with more vapour. Both pod generations fit every kit in the Vaporesso XROS pod kit line, so spares carry across if you ever upgrade. Kit Not Working? If your XROS 5 has stopped working, won't charge, or is showing error messages, we've written a separate troubleshooting guide covering every common problem. Full Comparison: OXVA Xlim Pro 2 vs Pro 3
Just here to buy? Shop the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 or the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 - or read the full comparison below. Both the OXVA Xlim Pro 2 and Pro 3 vape kit sit in the middle of the Xlim range. They're built on different chipsets with different priorities. I've carried both daily and the differences are more than just a spec bump. This guide breaks down every upgrade between the two kits: battery, screen, chipset, pod compatibility, airflow, and day to day performance. If you're deciding between them or thinking about upgrading from a Pro 2, this covers everything you need to know. Side by Side Specs Spec Xlim Pro 2 Xlim Pro 3 Battery 1300mAh 1500mAh Max Output 30W 30W Screen 0.56 inch ultra-HD 1.05 inch HD Chipset X-TREME Photon Charging USB-C, 2A fast charge USB-C, 5V/2A (80% in 30 mins) Activation Button and auto-draw Button and auto-draw Pods Included V3 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm V3 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm Pod Compatibility V2, V3, EZ V2, V3, EZ Airflow Adjustable MTL to RDL Adjustable MTL to RDL, slide switch E-liquid Capacity 2ml (TPD) 2ml (TPD) Colours 12 options Multiple options Both kits run 5 to 30W variable wattage. Both take the same V3 top-fill pods in the box. The real differences are underneath: the chipset, battery capacity, and screen size. Battery: 1300mAh vs 1500mAh OXVA's Pro 2 runs a 1300mAh battery. For moderate vaping on a 0.8 ohm pod at 14W, that gets most people through a full day. Heavy use on the 0.6 ohm pod at 22W drains it faster, and you'll likely need a top-up by late afternoon. An extra 200mAh in the Pro 3 doesn't sound like much on paper. In practice, it adds a couple of hours of vaping time. On the 0.8 ohm pod I'm getting a full day and then some without reaching for the cable. Both kits charge via USB-C at 2A. OXVA rates the Pro 3 at 80% in 30 minutes. The Pro 2 is slightly slower but still quick enough that a lunch break top-up sorts you out for the rest of the day. Chipset: X-TREME vs Photon This is the biggest difference between the two kits and the one you'll actually feel when vaping. Under the hood, the Pro 2 runs OXVA's X-TREME chipset. It reads the pod resistance and sets the wattage range automatically. Flavour is good throughout the pod's life, and the chip keeps things stable at your chosen wattage. OXVA's Pro 3 runs the newer Photon chipset. It does everything X-TREME does, plus a few things that change how the kit vapes day to day. What Photon Adds Pulse power output: Instead of constant voltage, the Photon chip sends high-frequency pulses to the replacement coils. You get more stable output regardless of battery level. Automatic variable wattage: Reads the pod and adjusts the wattage range on its own. You can still set it manually if you prefer. Consistency at low battery: On the Pro 2, flavour drops off noticeably below 20% battery. The Pro 3 holds closer to peak flavour right down to low charge. I noticed the consistency difference within the first week. With the Pro 2, I'd start getting weaker hits around the 15% mark and know it was time to charge. The Pro 3 doesn't fade the same way. You still get a good vape at 10% battery. Screen: 0.56 Inch vs 1.05 Inch On the Pro 2 you get a 0.56 inch ultra-HD colour screen. It shows wattage, resistance, battery percentage, and a puff counter. Animated themes and a light bar along the bottom change colour as the battery drains. Outside in direct sunlight, it's readable but you need to angle it right. At 1.05 inches, the Pro 3 screen is nearly double the display area. OXVA's One Scan mode shows wattage, resistance, and battery all at once without pressing anything. The larger screen means bigger fonts and easier reading in any light. If you've used the Pro 2 and been happy with the screen, the Pro 3 is a noticeable step up. Not essential, but once you've used the bigger display it's hard to go back. Pod Compatibility Both kits come with V3 top-fill OXVA Xlim pods in 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm. Top-fill means you don't need to pull the pod out to refill. Pop the silicone plug, fill, and carry on. Your Pro 2 also takes V2 side-fill pods and EZ pods from older Xlim kits. OXVA built the Pro 3 around V3 pods with UniTech 2.0 coil technology. UniTech 2.0 is an upgrade in the pod itself, not the kit. It affects wicking speed and coil life on V3 pods across the range. Read more about this on our OXVA pod systems blog post. Pod Type Pro 2 Pro 3 V3 Top Fill (0.6, 0.8 ohm) Yes Yes V2 Side Fill Yes Check EZ Pods Yes Check If you've got a drawer full of V2 or EZ pods from an older kit, the Pro 2 will use them all. If you're buying fresh, both kits use the same V3 pods. Airflow and Vape Style Both kits have adjustable airflow that slides between MTL (mouth to lung) and RDL (restricted direct to lung). The 0.8 ohm pod at 12 to 16W gives a tight cigarette-style draw. The 0.6 ohm pod at 20 to 25W opens up for more vapour and a looser inhale. A dedicated slide switch on the Pro 3 controls the airflow adjustment. It stays in position better than the Pro 2's slider. If you've ever had a kit shift airflow in your pocket, the Pro 3 holds firm. Both kits handle nic salt e-liquids and freebase e-liquid at 50/50 VG/PG. The 0.6 ohm pod also handles 60/40 without wicking issues. If you want guidance on which e-liquid suits which pod, the OXVA e-liquid guide on our blog covers it in detail. Activation: Button and Auto-Draw Back on the original Xlim Pro, you had a button and auto-draw. OXVA dropped the button on the Pro 2, going auto-draw only. OXVA brought the button back on the Pro 3 alongside auto-draw. If you prefer to fire with a button, the Pro 3 gives you that option. If you've been using the Pro 2 and like auto-draw, the Pro 3 still does both. You pick whichever suits you. Build Quality and Design With 12 colour options including carbon fibre, artificial leather, and brushstroke panels, the Pro 2 has plenty of choice. Zinc alloy body at 67g. The glossy finish looks sharp but picks up fingerprints. OXVA kept the compact pod kit form factor on the Pro 3. Weight sits in the same range as the Pro 2. The 1.05 inch screen takes up more of the front face, giving the kit a more modern look. Both kits feel solid in hand. Neither is heavy enough to notice in a trouser pocket. If you're coming from disposables, both are similar in size to a larger disposable vape but built to last years rather than days. Who Should Get Which Stick with the Pro 2 if: You're happy with your current Pro 2 and the battery lasts your day. The X-TREME chipset still holds up and the screen does everything you need. No reason to upgrade unless the Photon chip or bigger screen appeals to you. Go for the Pro 3 if: You want the Photon chipset's consistency at low battery. You want a larger screen. You want the button back for manual firing. Or you're buying your first Xlim kit and want the latest version. Coming from disposables: Either kit works, but the Pro 3's bigger screen and button activation make it slightly easier to get started. The OXVA Xlim collection has both kits plus the Go 2 and 3 Ultra if you want to compare the full range. [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_15] Other Xlim Kits Worth Knowing About Both the Pro 2 and Pro 3 sit in the middle of a bigger lineup. Depending on what matters to you, one of these might be a better fit: Xlim Go 2 is the stripped-back option. Auto-draw only, no screen, 1500mAh battery. If you don't want settings to change, this is the simplest OXVA vape to use. Xlim 3 Ultra launched alongside the Pro 3. Same 1500mAh battery and 30W output, but with a 2.2 inch touchscreen and Super Pulse chipset. More flavour intensity, more screen, more money. Xlim Pro 2 DNA has an Evolv DNA chipset with temperature control, Flavour Replay, and EScribe programming. Steeper learning curve but nothing else in pod vaping touches it for fine-tuning. All these kits share the same Xlim replacement pods by OXVA. Is the OXVA Xlim Worth It? 10 Reasons the Range Stands Out
Ready to buy? Shop the OXVA Xlim series or browse all OXVA kits. I've been selling OXVA kits since they first landed in the UK. I've tested every Xlim model from the original Pro through to the Xlim 3 Ultra and the DNA. I've also put the NeXlim and VPrime through their paces. This isn't a buying guide or a price comparison, it's a breakdown of the design and performance choices that make the Xlim range stand out. Here's why the OXVA Xlim range keeps outselling most of the pod kits on our shelves. [THREE_IMAGE_SHORTCODE] [shotcode_multi_image_section_16] 1. UniTech 2.0 Coils This is the biggest reason OXVA Xlim kits hold their flavour longer than most pod kits at a similar price. UniTech 2.0 is a replacement coils built into the pod itself. There's no separate coil head to unscrew or swap out. The mesh heats evenly across the full surface of the coil, so you're not getting hot spots that burn through the cotton early. You fill the pod, vape it, and when the flavour starts dropping off you put a fresh pod in. Most people get around 15 to 25ml of e-liquid through a single Xlim pod before it needs changing. The NeXlim takes it further with dual mesh, running two coil layers at once. Noticeably warmer vape and stronger flavour from the same size pod. 2. Pod Longevity Most pod kits on the market give you three to five days before the flavour goes off. OXVA Xlim pods regularly last one to two weeks with decent UK made e-liquid. What you put in them matters more than anything. Bar style juices loaded with sweeteners will burn through pods in days. Stick with a clean nic salts and you'll get a lot more life out of each one. Pod Type Typical Lifespan E-Liquid Capacity Xlim V3 1 to 2 weeks 2ml and 3ml NeXlim 10 to 16 days 4ml and 2ml VPrime 1 to 2 weeks 5ml and 2ml DNA SS 2 to 3 weeks 2ml The DNA stainless steel pods last longest because the temperature control chip stops the coil from ever overheating. You won't get a burnt hit from one of those. Full breakdown of every OXVA pod type is on our OXVA Pods page. 3. Cross-Kit Pod Compatibility This is something most other brands don't do. Buy Xlim V3 pods for your Xlim Go 2 and they'll also fit the Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, and SQ Pro 2. They work in the Xlim Pro 2 DNA as well. Same pods across nearly every kit in the Xlim family. That means you can upgrade your kit without throwing away your spare pods. It also means you can buy in bulk and use them across more than one OXVA vape if you've got a couple on the go. Pod Works With Xlim V3 Xlim Go 2, Xlim Pro 3, Xlim 3 Ultra, SQ Pro 2, Pro 2 DNA NeXlim NeXlim only VPrime VPrime only EZ All Xlim Vape kits NeXlim and VPrime pods are their own families. They don't swap between each other or into Xlim kits. 4. The Full Kit Range OXVA doesn't make one kit and call it a day. The Xlim family now covers everything from a simple auto-draw pod all the way up to a DNA temperature control vape. Xlim Go 2 - entry level, auto-draw only, 1500mAh battery. Good starting point. Xlim Pro 3 - screen, adjustable wattage, 1500mAh. Most people end up with. Xlim 3 Ultra - Touchscreen at 1500mAh, same Xlim V3 pods. Xlim SQ Pro 2 - square body, touchscreen, 1600mAh. Xlim Pro 2 DNA - Evolv DNA chip, stainless steel pods, temperature control. NeXlim - dual mesh coils, 1500mAh, separate pod range. VPrime - 5ml pods, 0.2Ω capable, up to 60W for DTL vaping. Browse the full lineup on our OXVA Xlim collection page. 5. Leak Prevention Pod kits leaking has always been the number one complaint from customers. OXVA have done a decent job of sorting this out on the Xlim range. The V3 pods use top-fill, so there's no fill port on the bottom where liquid can pool and seep out. The silicone seals sit tight, and the internal pressure stays balanced so the pod doesn't flood when the temperature changes. I've carried Xlim kits in my pocket for years and can count on one hand the number of times I've had a leak. The odd time it does happen it's usually because I've overfilled the pod, not because of a design fault. 6. DNA Temperature Control The Xlim Pro 2 DNA is the one to look at if you want proper control over your vape. It uses an Evolv DNA chip, the same chipset you'd normally find in box mods costing three or four times the price. Temperature control means the chip monitors the coil heat in real time and caps it before it ever gets hot enough to burn the cotton. The result is consistent flavour from the first puff of a fresh pod right through to the end of its life. It pairs with stainless steel pods that handle temperature control properly. Regular Xlim V3 pods still fit the DNA kit too, they just run in wattage mode instead. If you've never tried temperature control vaping, the Xlim Pro 2 DNA is one of the most accessible ways to experience it in a pod system. 7. Adjustable Power Most pod kits give you a fixed output and that's it. The Xlim Pro 3, SQ Pro 2, and 3 Ultra all let you adjust the wattage from the screen. The chipset reads what resistance pod you've put in and suggests a wattage range for it. You can fine tune from there. A 0.6Ω pod at 20W gives a different vape to the same pod at 28W. Being able to dial that in makes a real difference to the flavour. For the Xlim Go 2, there's no screen and no wattage control. It reads the pod and sets the output on its own. Simple, and honestly fine for most people who just want to vape without thinking about settings. 8. Build Quality and Design OXVA uses zinc alloy frames on the Xlim range. They've got some weight to them without being heavy. The finish holds up well too. IML panel technology on the outer shells means the colour doesn't scratch off the first time your keys get near it. Size wise, the Xlim Pro 3 is about 114mm tall and 15mm wide. Slips into a pocket easily. The SQ Pro 2 uses a square body which gives it a different feel in the hand. The wider frame means they've fitted a bigger 1600mAh battery without making it bulky. The Xlim Pro 2 DNA picked up a Gold at the London Design Awards, so it's not just me saying they look good. 9. Awards I mention awards because they back up what I'm saying with third party proof. These aren't paid placements. Industry panels test and compare hundreds of kits before picking winners. Kit Award Xlim Pro Gold, London Design Awards 2023 Xlim Pro Best Open Pod System, MENA Awards 2024 (Vapouround) Xlim SQ Pro Best Refillable Pod Kit + Best MTL, MIST Vape Awards 2023 Xlim Pro 2 Best Pod 2024, Ecigclick The NeXlim and newer Xlim models are still building their award history. But when every generation before them has picked up industry recognition, the track record speaks for itself. 10. TPD Compliance and Safety Every OXVA kit sold in the UK is fully TPD compliant with 2ml pod capacity on refillable pods. The kits include short circuit protection, over-discharge protection, and an 8 second cutoff to stop accidental firing. Low voltage protection keeps the battery from draining too far. OXVA uses reputable battery cells too. That matters more than people think. Cheap cells in cheap kits are the ones that end up on the news. OXVA's approach to safety is one of the reasons we're happy to stock and recommend them as an authorised UK stockist. Browse everything we stock from OXVA on the OXVA brand page. The Best PIXL Vape Flavours: PIXL 8000 & Duo 12 Guide
Ready to buy? Browse PIXL kits and refill pods. Miss your PIXL 6000? Good news - it's back, and it's legal. The single-use PIXL 6000 left UK shelves when the disposable ban came in, but the flavours and the feel live on in two rechargeable kits: the PIXL 8000 and the PIXL Duo 12. Both carry the same recipes you remember, so this guide covers the full flavour line-up and which kit suits you. Why the PIXL 6000 Was So Popular The PIXL 6000 earned its name on flavour. An 850mAh battery kept the taste consistent for the full 6,000 puffs, where a lot of disposables faded halfway through. Mesh coils brought out each flavour note, the 20mg nic salt e-liquids satisfied without harshness, and a boost mode gave you more when you wanted it. People still search "PIXL 6000 vape" because they remember that quality - and it carries straight over to the new kits. How the PIXL 8000 and Duo 12 Improve On It With the disposable ban in place, you can't buy the PIXL 6000 in the UK any more. The two replacements keep what made it good and add to it. The PIXL 8000 reaches roughly 8,000 puffs per pod on the same battery. The PIXL Duo 12 holds two flavours at once - 6,000 puffs across a twin-pod kit you twist to switch between. Both are rechargeable with replaceable pods, so you keep the device and just swap a pod when it empties, which works out cheaper than buying a fresh disposable each time. They join the rest of our big puff legal vapes. The Full PIXL Flavour Line-Up The flavours that made the PIXL 6000 famous carry over almost completely. The range leans on bold, true-to-life tastes rather than anything muddy or artificial. Fruit Flavours Hawaiian Oasis - pineapple, mango and passionfruit with cooling menthol Mango Ice - ripe mango with a smooth icy finish Pineapple Ice - sweet, juicy pineapple with a frozen twist Blueberry Sour Razz - sweet blueberry meeting tangy raspberry Pink Razz - raspberry candy with real fruit underneath Strawberry Burst - fresh strawberry with a subtle sour finish Menthol and Ice Flavours Fresh Mint - a balanced peppermint and spearmint blend Spearmint - clean, sweet spearmint with a gentle chill Cherry Ice - bold cherry over a smooth layer of ice Sweet and Candy Flavours PIXL Dust - fruity sherbet with mixed berry undertones Starmix - a gummy-sweet blend of sweet and tangy notes Rainbow Rush - sharp, punchy multi-fruit candy You'll find every flavour in stock on the PIXL 8000 refill pods collection, and the same recipes in 10ml bottles in the PIXL nic salts range. Our Top 5 PIXL Flavours Going by sales and reviews, these five come up again and again. Blueberry Sour Razz - sweet blueberry into tangy raspberry, with just enough sour bite to keep it interesting. An easy all-day vape. Pink Lemonade - sharp citrus that mellows into sweet berry. Familiar enough for daily use, with a bit more going on. Paradise Punch - pineapple, mango and passionfruit that blend together rather than fight for attention. Cherry Pop - red cherry lifted with vanilla and a touch of almond. A grown-up take on cherry candy. Strawberry Watermelon - strawberry sweetness with a refreshing watermelon finish. The two fruits complement each other well. PIXL 8000 or PIXL Duo 12: Which to Choose Go for the PIXL 8000 if you stick to one flavour and want the most puffs per pod. Go for the PIXL Duo 12 if you like switching between two flavours through the day. Both charge over USB-C, use 20mg nic salt pods and have a boost mode for more vapour. Getting Started Setting up either kit takes under a minute - click the pod and refill container together, drop them into the device, and you're ready to vape. Full step-by-step setup, specs and screen help are on the PIXL 8000 and PIXL Duo 12 kit pages, with the complete flavour range on the PIXL 8000 refill pods and PIXL nic salts collections.
