A Quick Overview of Vaporesso Coil Ranges
Vaporesso coils are a top pick for many vapers, and it's easy to see why. After selling thousands of these over the years, we've seen first-hand why our customers keep coming back for them.
GTX Coils: Versatile and Widely Used
The GTX coil has earned its reputation as one of the best for both flavour and lifespan. The latest versions come with triple silicone for better sealing and much less leakage than you'd get with other brands.
These coils come in loads of different resistances from 0.2Ω right up to 1.2Ω, so there's something for everyone. Our customers particularly love the 0.8Ω option – it hits that sweet spot between great flavour and decent battery life. If you're after clouds, the 0.3Ω gives you plenty of vapour without draining your battery too quickly.
What's really clever is that GTX coils work in more than just Vaporesso kits. They fit in Voopoo PnP devices and loads of other brands too. They've become so popular that you'll even find them used in rebuildable setups with adapters. Proper versatile, these.
GTi Coils: Designed for Power
The GTi coil range is built for vapers who want serious power and performance. These are the ones to go for if you're after big clouds and intense flavour from your direct-lung setup.
You can get them in 0.15Ω, 0.2Ω, 0.4Ω and 0.5Ω versions. The 0.2Ω seems to be the most popular with our cloud-chasing customers – it gives a really nice balance of vapour production and flavour richness when you run it around the 65-70W mark.
The mesh design means these heat up nice and evenly, and they're less prone to hotspots than traditional wire coils. With a bit of care, you'll easily get 1-2 weeks out of them, which is a fair bit longer than many competing brands we've stocked over the years.
Matching Coils to Your Device
Getting the right coils for your kit makes all the difference to your vaping experience. GTX coils work with loads of Vaporesso devices , including the Armour G and GS , Luxe XR Max , Luxe XR Max 2, Luxe X Pro , GTX tanks , and plenty more besides.
The GTi coils are meant for the more powerful kits like the iTank series , Gen series, and Armour devices . They need a bit more wattage to perform at their best, but the results are worth it if your device can handle them.
Not sure which coils your device needs? Drop us a line – we've been using these kits ourselves for years and can point you in the right direction.
Choosing the Right Resistance for Your Style
The resistance you go for should match how you like to vape:
For Direct Lung (DL) vaping : Go for the lower resistance options (0.15Ω-0.3Ω) if you want big clouds. They work best between 45-75W depending on which one you choose. They give you an airy draw with warmer vapor – perfect for cloud chasers.
For Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) : The mid-range resistances (0.4Ω-0.6Ω) give you a nice balance of flavour and clouds. Run them around 30-45W for a slightly tighter draw that still gives satisfying vapor.
For Mouth-to-Lung (MTL) : The higher resistance coils (0.8Ω-1.2Ω) are best if you want that cigarette-like tight draw. They work great at lower wattages (10-25W), use less e-liquid, and your battery lasts ages with them.
Most of our regular customers keep a few different resistances in their drawer to switch between depending on their mood or what juice they're using.
