GTX covers 0.15 to 1.2 ohm and suits both mouth to lung and sub-ohm vaping, in pod kits and pod mods. GTi covers 0.15 to 0.5 ohm on a lattice mesh, for sub-ohm on higher power devices like the Armour Ultra and the iTank. The two bases are different, so they do not swap.

GTX coils fit the GTX One Pro, Armour G, Armour GS, Luxe X3 and Luxe XR Max 2, the xTank T tank, and the Luxe XR replacement pods. They do not fit the iTank or the Armour Ultra, which take GTi.

Match the coil to the kit first, using the table above, then pick the resistance by how you vape. Under 0.4 ohm is sub-ohm with high VG shortfill. 0.6 ohm is a middle ground. 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm suit nic salt and a cigarette-style draw.

0.6 ohm is the stronger of the two: lower resistance draws more power, so it gives a warmer vape and more vapour. 0.8 ohm is cooler and tighter, lasts longer on a charge, and suits 20mg nic salt better.

Neither is better, they are for different power. A 0.2 ohm GTi coil wants 60W to 75W and throws big clouds. A 0.4 ohm wants 50W to 60W and reads as more flavour led. If your kit tops out below 60W, pick 0.4.

One to two weeks is normal. Higher wattage, sweetened e-liquid and dark flavours shorten it, and a coil that has been vaped dry once will not recover. A burnt or muted taste is the sign to change it.

Both, depending on the kit and the coil. XROS kits and GTX coils at 0.8 ohm or 1.2 ohm are mouth to lung, like a cigarette. GTi coils and GTX coils under 0.4 ohm are direct to lung. Some kits, such as the Luxe X3, do both through an airflow slider.

Within a family, yes: any GTX coil fits any GTX kit, and any GTi coil fits any GTi kit. Across families, no. GTX, GTi, GTR, GT and SKRR QF all use different bases, and none of them fits a pod with the coil built in.

The usual causes are not priming a new coil, vaping above the wattage printed on the coil, heavily sweetened e-liquid leaving residue on the cotton, and chain vaping without letting the wick catch up. Drop to mid range wattage and avoid vaping a tank near empty.

Put four to six drops of e-liquid onto the cotton ports on the side of the coil, fit it, fill the tank, then leave it five to ten minutes before the first puff. Skipping this is the most common cause of a burnt first vape.
