Vaporesso Replacement Coils
Vaporesso replacement coils are the consumable mesh heads that power every current Vaporesso kit, from the pocket-friendly Luxe XR Max pod kit to full sub-ohm vapes like the Armour Ultra Kit. Built by parent company SMOORE, the world's largest atomisation technology company, every genuine Vaporesso coil supplied through authorised UK distribution meets UK TPD standards.
Counterfeit Vaporesso coils are increasingly common online. They can deliver burnt flavour, leak, or fail to fire correctly on regulated mods.

Vaporesso Coil Compatibility by Kit
Two current Vaporesso coil platforms cover the modern range and they are not cross-compatible.
The GTX platform uses a 510-style screw thread. It fits the Luxe XR Max, Luxe X, Luxe Q2, Target PM80 and GTX Go series, with resistance options from 0.15 ohm sub-ohm to 1.2 ohm MTL.
The GTi platform uses a press-fit base with a larger internal cap built for higher-wattage devices in the Armour and iTank T lineup. It comes in 0.2, 0.4 and 0.5 ohm with dual-mesh construction for warmer, richer vapour.

The vaporesso gti coils dual-mesh family comes in three resistances. The 0.2 ohm works at 60 to 75 watts for warm clouds, the 0.4 ohm works at 50 to 65 watts for balanced restricted DTL, and the 0.5 ohm works at 40 to 55 watts for a tighter MTL-leaning sub-ohm draw. Two parallel mesh strips inside each head share the heat load, which ramps faster on the first puff and lasts longer than single-strip designs at the same wattage.
Where the Armour G and Armour GS appear in search, those kits use a refillable pod cartridge with a built-in 0.8 ohm coil rather than separate vaporesso armour g coils. See the replacement pods page for those. Older or limited-edition variants may not appear in this table. Check your device manual if unsure.

Mesh Coil Technology in Vaporesso Heads
Both current Vaporesso coil platforms use mesh construction rather than the old wire-wrap design. Mesh is a thin perforated metal sheet, giving a larger heating surface that ramps up evenly across the wick. The practical result is cleaner, more consistent flavour, faster firing on the first puff, and longer coil life because no single spot overheats during use.
GTi Vaporesso coil heads use a dual-mesh design, with two parallel mesh strips inside one head, for even heat distribution at high sub-ohm wattages. GTX heads use single mesh tuned to the resistance, balancing flavour against vapour production across the full range.
Both mesh coil platforms perform best with 70/30 or higher VG freebase e-liquid for sub-ohm builds, or 50/50 nicotine salt for higher-resistance GTX heads above 0.6 ohm.

Choosing the Right Ohm for Your Vaporesso Coil
The full Vaporesso coil range spans 0.15 ohm at the cloud-chasing end to 1.2 ohm at the tight MTL end.
For sub-ohm and direct-to-lung vaping
Lower-ohm Vaporesso coils at 0.15 to 0.4 ohm fire hotter, vaporise more liquid per puff, and produce bigger clouds. Best paired with 70/30 or higher VG freebase liquid for direct-to-lung vaping.
For MTL and nicotine salt vaping
Higher-ohm Vaporesso coils at 0.6 to 1.2 ohm run cooler, sip liquid slowly, and suit nicotine salts at 10mg or 20mg for a tighter, more cigarette-like draw. For pure MTL with nic salts, lean towards 0.8 ohm or higher.
If unsure where to start, 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm Vaporesso coils cover the widest range of vapers, sitting at restricted DTL or loose MTL depending on the airflow setting.
How Long Vaporesso Coils Last
A Vaporesso coil typically lasts around 7 to 14 days of regular use. Heavy daily vapers may need to replace sooner; lighter users may stretch a coil to three weeks.
Lifespan is driven by wattage, sweetener content in the e-liquid (which burns the cotton faster), how well the coil was primed on first use, and whether the tank ever fired dry.
To extend Vaporesso coil life: prime by dripping 4 to 6 drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton before fitting, leave the filled kit standing for 5 to 10 minutes, stay within the wattage range printed on the coil head, keep the tank topped up, and avoid very dark or heavily sweetened e-liquid. For a full walkthrough, see the guide on Vaporesso coil lifespan.

Legacy Vaporesso Coil Families
Three legacy Vaporesso coil families remain in stock for vapers running classic hardware. GTR fits the older Target Pro and Target Mini sub-ohm devices. GT Mesh (also known as GTM) fits the Swag PX80 and older Gen-series tanks. SKRR QF Mesh and QF Strip cover the classic SKRR and SKRR-S sub-ohm tanks.
Stock on these legacy Vaporesso coil ranges is held while supplies last and will not be replenished once depleted. Order spares now if your kit relies on them.
Which E-Liquid Works with Vaporesso Coils
Sub-ohm Vaporesso coils at 0.2 to 0.4 ohm work best with 70/30 or higher VG freebase shortfill. See the shortfill e-liquid collection for the full range. Mid-resistance Vaporesso coils at 0.6 ohm suit both freebase shortfill and nicotine salts, with the airflow setting on your kit dictating the feel.

Higher-resistance Vaporesso coils at 0.8 to 1.2 ohm pair best with 10mg or 20mg nicotine salts for a tighter, more cigarette-like vape.
Every genuine Vaporesso replacement coil comes through authorised UK distribution, is fully TPD compliant, and carries Vaporesso's standard manufacturer warranty against dead on arrival faults. For the full Vaporesso hardware range, see the Vaporesso collection, or compare all brands in the vape coils hub.
