Vaporesso Coils

GTX coils use a 510-style screw thread for pod kits and pod mods; GTi coils use a press-fit base for higher-wattage devices like the Armour Ultra and iTank T. GTX covers 0.15 to 1.2 ohm across MTL and sub-ohm vaping. GTi covers 0.2 to 0.5 ohm for warmer sub-ohm performance with dual-mesh construction.

Within a coil family, yes, any GTX coil fits any GTX-compatible Vaporesso kit, and any GTi coil fits any GTi-compatible kit. The two current platforms are NOT cross-compatible because they use different fitments. Check your kit against the correct family before ordering.

The most common reasons are insufficient priming on first use, vaping at wattages above the printed range on the coil head, heavily sweetened e-liquid leaving residue on the cotton, and chain-vaping without giving the wick time to re-saturate. Drop the wattage to mid-range, prime properly, and avoid running the tank near empty.

Drip 4 to 6 drops of e-liquid directly onto the exposed cotton wicking ports on a new Vaporesso coil before fitting it into the tank. Fit the coil, fill the tank, then leave the kit standing for 5 to 10 minutes so the wick fully saturates before first puff. Skipping this step is the most common cause of a burnt first vape.
