OXVA Xlim V3 Pods

OXVA Xlim V3 pods are OXVA's refillable Xlim Top Fill cartridges with the UNITECH 2.0 coil. You get three pods in a pack in one resistance, from 0.4 to 1.2 ohm, and they fit every kit in the OXVA Xlim range.

You refill each pod from the top through a silicone plug, so it stays in the kit while you fill it, and OXVA say a clean refill takes about 3 seconds. The coil is built in, so when it wears out you change the pod, which is why it is worth keeping a spare pack. Pods for the NeXlim and VPrime are in our OXVA pods range.

UNITECH 2.0 Coil

OXVA build the V3 around their UNITECH 2.0 coil. The cotton is laid in several layers in a set pattern, which OXVA say creates fine channels so the e-liquid soaks in faster and vaporises more evenly. They put the result at 50% better flavour restoration, 45% more vapour and 30% longer coil life.

Five-Layer Leak Protection

Each pod has five layers of sealing from top to bottom to keep the e-liquid inside, so your pocket stays clean from the commute to a coffee break. OXVA tested the design with more than 200 puffing simulations, more than 30 e-liquid compatibility tests and more than 5 environment stress tests.

Is 0.8 or 0.6 Better for OXVA

The 0.8 ohm pod is better for a tighter mouth to lung draw on nic salt, and the 0.6 ohm pod is better if you want a looser draw or vape freebase. These are OXVA's settings for each V3 pod:

If your kit lets you set the wattage, as the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 and Xlim 3 Ultra do, keep it inside OXVA's range for the pod you are using.

On the Xlim Pro 2 DNA the V3 pod works for everyday vaping, but OXVA say it does not support the anti-burn and Flavour Replay functions. For those, use the OXVA Xlim SS pods.

How Long Do OXVA Xlim Pods Last

OXVA do not give a set number of refills for their V3 replacement pods. How long one lasts depends on the resistance, the wattage and the e-liquid you use. Change it when the flavour fades or the vape starts to taste burnt.

1. Fill a new pod and close the plug straight away.
2. Wait 5 to 8 minutes before your first puff so the coil soaks, as OXVA advise.
3. Keep the wattage inside OXVA's range for that resistance.
