The OXVA Xlim SQ Pro 2 is a square pod vape kit with a 1.09 inch HD touch screen, a 1600mAh battery and 5 to 30W output, and OXVA call it the Xlim family's first touch screen pod. It takes every Xlim pod and sits with the rest of the OXVA vapes we sell.

The SQ Pro 2 takes over from the original Xlim SQ Pro. OXVA kept the square shape and the Xlim pods, then added the touch screen, a bigger battery and a puff diary that tracks up to 30 days, so you can see how much you vape from one week to the next.

A Square Vape with a Touch Screen

The SQ Pro 2 is a square shaped vape with a round touch screen set into a flat zinc alloy body, 93.4mm tall and 48mm wide. The square shape sits flat in the hand and in a pocket, and it fits our range of small vapes.

Next to the usual pen-shaped e-cig it looks more like a small watch, and the screen works like a watch face too. You swipe and tap to change the wattage, check your puffs and pick a look, and it locks itself when you stop touching it.

1.09 Inch Touchscreen

The 1.09 inch HD touch screen has a 316PPI pixel density, a 60Hz refresh rate and a 248 x 240 resolution, and OXVA rate the touch response at 30ms. It shows your wattage, pod resistance, puff time, battery and puff count on one watch style face.

After a few seconds without a touch the screen locks, so it does not change settings in your pocket. For a larger 2.2 inch touch screen, the OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra is the bigger model.

Puff Tracker

OXVA's intelligent puff diary tracks your puffs in real time, with a weekly habit overview and 30 day usage trends, and the 5 digit counter goes up to 99,999. OXVA say the records are private, visible only to you, and that they do not collect or access any of the data.

1600mAh Battery and Eco Mode

The 1600mAh battery is a third bigger than the original SQ Pro's 1200mAh, and OXVA rate it at up to 7 days in eco mode. It charges by USB-C at 5V/2A and goes from flat to full in 45 minutes.

Custom Wallpaper and Themes

The SQ Pro 2 has 4 themes, 4 animation effects and 4 standby wallpapers, which gives 64 combinations for the screen. Long press the main screen to switch, then slide to choose your wallpaper.

On-Screen Tools

Six tools sit on the touch screen alongside the vaping settings:

Xlim SQ Pro 2 Pod Compatibility

The SQ Pro 2 takes all three types of Xlim cartridge, and works with nic salt and freebase e-liquids:

How to Use the OXVA Xlim SQ Pro 2

To use the OXVA Xlim SQ Pro 2, press the function button 5 times in 2 seconds to turn it on, then draw to vape. Everything else is on the touch screen, as OXVA's manual sets out:

Before the first puff on a fresh pod:

1. Fill the cartridge from the top and close it straight away to help stop leaks.
2. Leave it for 5 to 8 minutes, as OXVA's manual advises, so the coil soaks and does not burn.
3. Set the side airflow, turn the kit on and draw.

The SQ Pro 2 stops firing after 8 seconds of continuous vaping as a safety cut-off. The screen can also show these messages:

Low Battery	The battery is low and needs charging
No Atomizer	The cartridge is not detected
Short	A short circuit is detected
Time Out	The puff lasted over 8 seconds
Temp High	The board inside is too hot
