The OXVA Xlim 4 is the newest kit in the Xlim line, pairing a 1600mAh battery with 30W of output and the new XLIM Top Fill Cartridge UNITECH 3.0. It drops the screen the Pro models carry and replaces it with a single ring light that tells you the power level and the battery state at a glance. OXVA have built it around three fixed power levels rather than fine wattage control, so there is less to think about and less to get wrong.

Power changes with a double click, moving between low, medium and high. That suits anyone who wants the flavour of a tuned kit without adjusting anything, which is most people buying pod kits as a first refillable.

The important part for existing owners is the cartridge. The Xlim 4 takes the XLIM top fill range, so if you already own an Xlim Pro 3 or any recent Xlim, your pods carry over.

The New XLIM UNITECH 3.0 Cartridge

UNITECH 3.0 is the cartridge OXVA are putting across the range, and the Xlim 4 ships with the 0.8ohm in 2ml for the UK. It primes in about 30 seconds rather than the usual few minutes, and the anti-leak layer has been reworked. OXVA list the wider OXVA Xlim pod range as compatible, so what you already own carries over.

Resistances and Where They Sit

The 0.4ohm is the RDL option at 26W to 30W. The 0.6ohm covers both styles at 20W to 25W. The 0.8ohm, the one in the box, is MTL at 12W to 16W. OXVA list a 1.2ohm MTL cartridge at 10W to 12W as arriving in 2027.

1600mAh Battery and 2A Charging

1600mAh is a day for most people and closer to two if you sit on the low power level. Charging is 5V/2A over Type-C, so a top up between uses is quick rather than something you plan around.

Three Power Levels and the Ring Light

Low is the smooth setting, medium is the everyday one and high pushes the flavour hardest and the battery quickest. The ring light around the fire area shows which level you are on, how much charge is left, and can be set to a glow effect if you would rather it just looked good.

Vertical AFC Airflow

Airflow adjusts vertically rather than with a side slider, which makes it harder to knock out of position in a pocket. Tighten it right down for a cigarette-like MTL draw with nic salts, or open it for a warmer RDL pull.

Ten Finishes

Black Carbon, four Silken leather finishes in black, brown, blue and champagne, three Nacre finishes in white, pink and purple, and two Aurora Petal finishes in pink and purple.

OXVA Xlim 4 FAQs

Does the Xlim 4 take my existing Xlim pods?

Yes, that is the point of the upgrade. The Xlim V3 top fill pods we stock fit every Xlim kit, so they work here too. The one exception is the SS pods, which are made for the Xlim Pro 2 DNA only.

What is different about the UNITECH 3.0 cartridge?

Faster priming at around 30 seconds, a reworked anti-leak layer, and OXVA claim the flavour holds up better across the life of the pod rather than fading after the first tank.

How do the three power levels work?

Double click the fire button to cycle between low, medium and high. The ring light changes to show which one you are on, so there is no menu and no screen to read.

Is the Xlim 4 better than the Xlim Pro 3?

It is different rather than better. The Xlim 4 has the larger battery at 1600mAh against 1500mAh, but the Pro 3 keeps a colour screen and full variable wattage. Pick the Xlim 4 for simplicity and the Pro 3 for control, or compare the whole Xlim series side by side.

When is the OXVA Xlim 4 released in the UK?

OXVA have not published a UK release date themselves, but our supplier has confirmed stock with us for the end of September 2026. This page is live now so you can see the kit, the colours and the specifications, and it will show as in stock here the moment our first delivery lands.
