OXVA Xlim ABT Cartridge

OXVA Xlim ABT pods are the refillable cartridges made for the OXVA Xlim Pro 4. OXVA call them the XLIM ABT Cartridge UNITECH 3.0. Each pack holds three top fill pods in one resistance, and you can pick 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 or 1.2 ohm.

ABT stands for Anti-Burn Tech. In the Xlim Pro 4, an ABT pod lets the kit read the e-liquid level inside the pod and stop firing before the coil goes dry, with a refill alert on the screen. In any other Xlim kit the pod works as a normal Xlim pod, just without ABT.

They work with nic salt and freebase e-liquid, and they sit with the rest of the OXVA Xlim range.

How to Tell an ABT Pod From a Standard Xlim Pod

An ABT pod has four contact points on the base, an ABT mark underneath and a red silicone ring at the mouthpiece. A standard Xlim top fill pod has no ABT mark or red ring. Both show the resistance and the wattage range on the base, so you can see at a glance which pod you have.

What Pods Are Compatible With the Oxva Xlim?

OXVA say every Xlim pod fits every current Xlim kit, and the ABT pod is no different. What changes is whether ABT switches on:

Is 0.8 or 0.6 Better for the Oxva Xlim?

Pick the 0.8 ohm for a tight mouth to lung (MTL) draw at 12 to 16W. Pick the 0.6 ohm for a looser draw at 20 to 25W, which OXVA rate for restricted direct lung (RDL) or MTL. This is OXVA's wattage chart for the ABT pod:

How Long Do Xlim Pods Last?

OXVA say an Xlim ABT pod typically lasts 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how much you vape, your e-liquid and your wattage. Replace it when the flavour turns weak, sour or slightly burnt, even with e-liquid still in the pod.

In the Xlim Pro 4, ABT stops the kit firing before an empty pod can burn the coil, which is why OXVA say it means less pod waste.

How to Fill an Xlim ABT Pod

To fill an Xlim ABT pod, top it up through the fill port, close it, then wait 30 seconds before the first puff:

1. Fill the pod through its top fill port with nic salt or freebase e-liquid.
2. Close the fill port.
3. Push the pod into your Xlim kit.
4. Wait 30 seconds so the UNITECH 3.0 coil soaks through.
5. If your kit has adjustable wattage, set it to the range printed on the base of the pod, then vape.
