The OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra is a 30W pod vape kit built around a 2.2 inch HD full touchscreen, the biggest screen in OXVA's Xlim range, with a 1500mAh battery and OXVA's Super Pulse chip for full flavour right down to a low battery. It is part of the OXVA Xlim range and takes the same top fill Xlim pods as the rest of the series, so pods from an earlier Xlim kit carry straight over.

It fires when you draw or when you press the button, and the airflow slider on the side takes it from a tight mouth to lung (MTL) draw to a looser restricted direct lung (RDL) draw. It works with both nic salt and freebase e-liquid.

If you would rather have buttons and a smaller colour screen, the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 is the Xlim kit without a touchscreen.

OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra Super Pulse Chip

The Xlim 3 Ultra uses OXVA's Super Pulse chip, which boosts power in pulses to stop the output dropping as the battery drains. OXVA say every puff stays rich and smooth even at 1% battery, so the last puffs before a charge taste the same as the first ones.

OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra Touch Screen

The 2.2 inch HD full touchscreen has a 220 x 700 resolution at 331 PPI with a 60Hz refresh rate, so it reads like a phone screen. You change the wattage, themes and vaping animations with a swipe, and a live puff counter shows your use by day, week and month. OXVA say those records stay on the kit and are not collected. The screen has 3H hardness with a Nano SiO2 coating and an anti-fingerprint finish.

OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra Battery and Eco Mode

The Xlim 3 Ultra has a 1500mAh built-in battery that charges by USB-C at 5V/2A. OXVA say it reaches 80% in 30 minutes and rate a full charge at up to four days of use, though how long yours lasts depends on how much you vape. Eco mode lowers the brightness, animations and vibration to make each charge go further, and you switch it on with one tap.

How to Use the OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra

To use the OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra, fill the pod, press the button five times to turn it on, then draw to vape. Everything else is done on the touchscreen:

Before the first puff on a fresh pod:

1. Lift the silicone plug at the top of the pod and fill it through the port, with the pod still in the kit.
2. Close the plug straight away to help stop leaks.
3. Leave the pod for 5 to 8 minutes so the coil soaks through.
4. Turn the kit on and draw to vape.

The Xlim 3 Ultra stops firing if a puff lasts longer than 8 seconds, as a safety cut-off.

OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra Fire Button

The OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra fire button is switched on and off with the slide lock on the side of the kit, and it buzzes to confirm. With button firing on, you can press the button to vape as well as drawing. With it off, the button will not fire the kit by accident.

OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra Screen Not Working

If the OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra screen is not working, it may simply have locked itself. The screen turns off and locks after 5 seconds without a touch, and while you vape, to stop accidental taps. To bring it back:

1. Press the button to light the screen up.
2. Slide to unlock it.
3. If the screen stays dark, charge the kit, as a flat battery leaves the screen blank.

The screen can also show these messages:

Low Battery	The battery is low
No Atomizer	The pod is not detected
Short Circuit	A short circuit is detected
Time Out	The puff lasted over 8 seconds
Temp High	The chip is too hot

Xlim 3 Ultra Wattage

The Xlim 3 Ultra comes with a 0.6 ohm and a 0.8 ohm Xlim top fill pod. Set the wattage to match the pod, using OXVA's range:

OXVA recommend the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods for nic salts, and the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm pods for nic salt or freebase.
