OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Vape Kit

The OXVA Xlim Pro 3 vape kit is the third generation of the Xlim Pro, a 30W pod kit with a 1.05 inch HD colour screen, a 1500mAh battery and OXVA's Photon chip. It sits in the OXVA Xlim range and takes the same top fill Xlim pods as the rest of the series, so pods from an earlier Xlim kit carry straight over.

It fires when you draw or when you press the button, and the side airflow slider takes it from a tight mouth to lung (MTL) draw to a looser restricted direct lung (RDL) draw. It works with both nic salt and freebase e-liquid.

The Xlim Pro 3 is one of the OXVA vapes we sell alongside the NeXlim and VPrime ranges.

It uses one button and a colour screen rather than a touchscreen. The OXVA Xlim 3 Ultra is the Xlim kit with a full touchscreen.

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Photon Chip

The Xlim Pro 3 uses OXVA's Photon chip, which sends power to the coil in high-frequency pulses to keep the output steady from the start of each puff to the end. OXVA say this gives balanced vapour and flavour, with over 80% of the flavour still there at 20% battery, the point where a lot of pod kits start to taste flat.

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Screen and Themes

The 1.05 inch HD colour screen shows your wattage, battery level and pod resistance in one view, which OXVA call One-Scan Control. At 300 nits it stays easy to read outdoors in daylight. You can change the screen theme, the effects and the RGB light strip from the menu, including OXVA's MOMO Superman theme.

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Battery

The Xlim Pro 3 has a 1500mAh built-in battery that charges by USB-C at 5V/2A. OXVA say it reaches 80% in 30 minutes and rate a full charge at up to five days of use, though how long yours lasts depends on how much you vape and which pod you use.

How to Use the OXVA Xlim Pro 3

To use the OXVA Xlim Pro 3, fill the pod, press the button five times to turn it on, then draw or hold the button to vape. Every setting is changed with the one button:

Vape	Hold it down, or just draw
Open the menu for puffs, themes and lights	2 times within 2 seconds
Change the wattage	3 times within 2 seconds
Lock or unlock the button	4 times within 2 seconds
Turn on or off	5 times within 2 seconds

Inside the menu, a short press moves between options and a long press confirms. This is how you reset the puff counter and change the theme or lights.

Before the first puff on a fresh pod:

1. Lift the silicone plug at the top of the pod and fill it through the port, with the pod still in the kit.
2. Close the plug straight away to help stop leaks.
3. Leave the pod for 5 to 8 minutes so the coil soaks through.
4. Turn the kit on and draw to vape.

The Xlim Pro 3 stops firing if a puff lasts longer than 8 seconds, as a safety cut-off.

How to Lock and Unlock the OXVA Xlim Pro 3

To lock or unlock the OXVA Xlim Pro 3, press the button four times within two seconds. This locks the fire button so a stray press will not fire the kit, and four more presses unlock it.

How to Change Wattage on the OXVA Xlim Pro 3

To change the wattage on the OXVA Xlim Pro 3, press the button three times within two seconds, then set it anywhere from 5 to 30W. Use the pod table further down to pick the right wattage for your pod.

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Red Square

A red square on the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 screen usually means the kit cannot read the pod, or the battery is low. To clear it:

1. Take the pod out, check the contacts on the pod and in the kit are clean and dry, then push it back in firmly.
2. Charge the kit.
3. If the red square stays, press the button 10 times quickly, within 3 seconds, to fully reset the chip. This is OXVA's own fix for the red square.
4. If it still shows, fit a fresh pod.

The screen can also show these messages:

Screen message	What it means
Low Battery	The battery is low
No Atomizer	The pod is not detected
Short	A short circuit is detected
Timeout	The puff lasted over 8 seconds
Temp High	The chip is too hot

Xlim Pro 3 Pods and Wattage

The Xlim Pro 3 comes with a 0.6 ohm and a 0.8 ohm Xlim top fill pod. OXVA list it as working with all of these:

• Xlim top fill cartridges
• Xlim EZ cartridges
• Xlim empty cartridge
• Xlim replacement coils

Set the wattage to match the pod, using OXVA's range:

OXVA recommend the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods for nic salts, and the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm pods for nic salt or freebase.

OXVA rate the new top fill pod at 50% more flavour and 30% longer use time, with a 5-layer seal against leaks.
