The Photon chipset is what sets the Xlim Pro 3 apart from cheaper pod kits. Smart Wattage Control reads the resistance of whichever Xlim pod you slot in and sets a safe wattage automatically. Drop a 1.2Ω tight-MTL pod in and the Xlim Pro 3 will not let you fire it at 30W, which protects the coil and your e-liquid from burning. The chipset is keyed to the full 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω Xlim coil range, so the same kit handles tight MTL, regular MTL, RDL and loose RDL without you needing to memorise wattage settings.

Xlim Pod Compatibility and Airflow Control

The Xlim Pro 3 is fully backwards compatible with every Xlim cartridge OXVA has produced. V2 side-fill pods, V3 top-fill pods and EZ pods all click straight into the magnetic dock without adapters or workarounds. The two pods supplied in the box are V3 top-fill cartridges fitted with UniTech 2.0 mesh coils. UniTech 2.0 delivers around 50% more flavour and approximately 30% longer coil life than the V2 mesh. OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Colour Finishes

The OXVA Xlim Pro 3 comes in nine colour finishes split across three styles, all in stock. The carbon options are Pro Carbon and Black Carbon, both with a smooth matte texture. The leather options are Black Leather and Brown Leather, with a subtly grained back panel. The silk and metal range covers Sky Blue, Race Red, Pink Silk, Purple Silk and Titanium Silk, each with a fine brushed finish that catches the light without showing fingerprints.

If a red square appears on the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 screen, that is the Photon chipset flagging a pod fault. Lift the pod out, wipe the magnetic contacts with a dry cloth and click it back into place. The 1.05 inch HD colour display also supports three customisable themes, including a classic readout and a MOMO Superman animation that plays whenever you take a draw. Themes change inside the two-click menu. Brightness peaks at 300 nits so the screen stays legible outdoors and in direct sunlight.

Battery Life and Charging the OXVA Xlim Pro 3

The 1500mAh internal battery is sized to carry a typical MTL vaper through a full day of use. With the 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω pods at 12-18W you can expect a comfortable all-day charge; with the 0.4Ω pod at 30W and a heavier RDL draw the battery will drain faster.
