Vaporesso XROS Overview
The XROS series has been Vaporesso's flagship line since 2020. Each generation keeps the same XROS pod fitting, so nothing you've bought goes to waste when you move up to a newer kit. The current lineup sits on the fifth generation, with four kits to pick from depending on what matters most to you.
The XROS 5 is the main model in the current lineup. It's the go-to XROS 5 vape for most people moving to refillable pods. It's got a 1500mAh battery, a colour screen, adjustable wattage up to 30W and charges via USB-C in about 26 minutes. The XROS 5 Mini packs the same 1500mAh battery into a smaller body without a screen, and it charges in around 40 minutes. The XROS 5 ships with 0.6 and 0.8 ohm COREX 3.0 pods in the box and just 0.8ohm with the 5 Mini.
The XROS 5 Nano is the newest addition to the XROS 5 range. It's got a 1600mAh battery, a 1.09 inch circular touchscreen with 29 themes and a square body that sits upright on a desk. If battery life is your main concern, the XROS Pro 2 has 2000mAh in a magnesium alloy body that weighs just 65 grams.

Vaporesso XROS Pods: COREX 3.0 and 2.0 Refills
Pod choice is one of the biggest reasons people stick with the XROS series. XROS COREX 3.0 pods come in five resistances, and every single one fits every XROS kit ever made. Whether you need XROS 5 pods, XROS Pro pods or XROS refill pods for an older model, they all click in the same way.

COREX 2.0 pods are still available and work in newer kits just like the 3.0 versions work in older ones. The main difference between COREX 3.0 and 2.0 is pod life. COREX 3.0 refill pods use a hive mesh coil and last roughly 50% longer than the 2.0 versions, based on Vaporesso's own testing. Most vapers get 2 to 4 weeks from a 3.0 pod depending on how heavily they vape. All Vaporesso XROS pods UK stock at Ecigone is genuine and ships from our warehouse.
COREX 2.0 vs COREX 3.0 Pods: What's the Difference?
The biggest question in the range right now is Corex 2.0 vs 3.0, and it comes down to coil life and flavour. Vaporesso Corex 3.0 pods last longer and taste better than Corex 2.0 pods across the board.

Corex 3.0 uses a hive mesh pattern that spreads heat more evenly than the morph mesh in 2.0 pods. In practice, you'll notice the flavour staying consistent for longer before it starts to fade. Vaporesso's own testing puts the improvement at roughly 30% longer life and 30% better flavour, and from what we've seen that's about right.
The difference between Corex 2.0 and 3.0 matters most if you vape heavily or use sweet e-liquids that burn through coils faster. When people search Vaporesso Corex 2.0 vs 3.0, the short answer is always go for 3.0 if your kit supports it. Lighter vapers will still notice better flavour from 3.0 but the life difference is less dramatic.
Both Corex versions are cross-compatible within the XROS range, so you're not locked in. A Corex 2.0 pod fits an XROS Pro 2 and a Corex 3.0 pod fits an XROS 4. You can use either version in any XROS vape without any issues. Just be wary of the 0.4ohm Pod - this is not suitable for the XROS Mini or XROS 3 Mini kits as they do not give out enough power to fire them.
Vaporesso also makes XROS Pods in 0.4ohm resistance, which are only suitable for higher-powered XROS kits like the XROS Pro, Pro 2, XROS 5 Series & XROS 4 Series. They will not work in earlier XROS Mini or XROS 3 Mini kits.

Picking the Right Vaporesso XROS Kit
The four current XROS kits all share the same pods and coils. The decision comes down to battery size, screen type and how compact you want it.

If you want the fastest charge and a screen without paying more, the XROS 5 is the straightforward pick. The Mini suits vapers who don't care about a display and want something that slips into a pocket more easily. The Nano is for anyone who likes touchscreen controls and customisable wallpapers. When comparing the XROS Pro 2 vs XROS 5, the Pro 2 wins on battery life. It's built for heavy vapers who'd rather charge once and forget about it for a full day or more.
All four kits fire between 5 and 30 watts, all have sliding airflow control, and all support both draw activation and button firing. Pair any of them with a nic salt in a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod for a tight MTL hit. Or drop in a 0.4 ohm pod with thicker juice for a warmer restricted draw.

Older XROS Models and Pod Compatibility
If you're still using an XROS 3 or XROS 4 kit, your Vaporesso pods haven't changed. COREX 3.0 pods click straight into older kits, so you can upgrade your pods without upgrading your vape. Vaporesso XROS 5 compatible pods also work in every older XROS model. The only exception is the 0.4ohm pod, which fits everything except the XROS Mini or XROS 3 Mini kits.
Vaporesso XROS 3 pods at 0.6 and 0.8 ohm are still available if you prefer the COREX 2.0 build. These tend to run through juice a bit faster and last around 1 to 2 weeks. Some vapers still prefer the slightly warmer draw they give though. When you need XROS 5 replacement pods or refills for any older kit, they're all on the same pods page.
There are no XROS prefilled pods available in the range at all. Every XROS pod is a refillable top fill design that you fill with your own juice. If you're looking for Vaporesso's prefilled option, that's the Dojo range which uses a completely different pod fitting.
