Voopoo revolutionized pod vaping with their PNP (Plug 'n' Play) coil platform. Instead of creating unique coils for each device, Voopoo developed universal coils that work across multiple kits. This approach means Drag X coils work in Argus devices, and Drag S coils fit the Drag H40.

The original Voopoo PNP coils launched with the Drag X and Drag S, offering eight resistance options from MTL to DTL. These coils gained popularity for their push-fit installation - no threading, just push in and pull out. The mesh construction delivers better flavour than traditional round wire while lasting longer between changes.

PNP X coils represent Voopoo's next generation, featuring a 4-layer leakproof structure and improved cotton wicking. Built for the Drag X3 kit, Drag S3, Drag X2, Drag S2, and Argus Pro 2, these coils handle higher wattages while preventing the condensation issues some PNP coils experienced. The dual L-shape base design maintains balanced pressure to eliminate leaking.

Both coil platforms use natural thermal-stable cotton optimized for e-liquid delivery speed. Expect 7-14 days per coil with regular use, potentially longer with less sweet e-liquids.

PNP coils remain Voopoo's most versatile platform, powering devices from the original Voopoo Drag series through to current Argus models:

The 4-layer leakproof construction separates the airway, heating zone, and air cavity into different layers. This prevents e-liquid seeping through the coil base - a common issue with earlier pod coils. The dual L-shape structure maintains balanced internal pressure, stopping condensation from pooling and leaking.

Voopoo's automated production ensures consistency across every PNP X coil. The precision-wound mesh and perfectly aligned cotton deliver identical performance from the first coil to the last in each pack. Colour coding continues with PNP X - black for DTL options, red for RDL/MTL hybrids, blue for pure MTL.
