PIXL 8000

The PIXL 8000 is a prefilled pod vape kit with a boost button on the bottom, next to the USB-C port, and a screen that shows your battery percentage. Inside you've got an 850mAh battery, a 2ml mesh coil pod, and a 10ml refill container, all prefilled with 20mg nic salt. Approximately 8,000 puffs from each pod set.

Boost Button

The PIXL 8000 has one button and it sits on the bottom of the kit beside the USB-C port, not on the side. Double-click it and the kit switches to boost mode, giving you thicker vapour, a warmer draw, and stronger flavour. Double-click again to drop back to standard output. It's handy for fruity or icy flavours where the extra heat brings out more taste. Boost uses the battery faster than standard mode, so keep an eye on the on-screen percentage if you use it regularly.

How to Unlock the PIXL 8000

The PIXL 8000 arrives locked so it cannot fire in transit or in your pocket. Press the button on the bottom, beside the USB-C port, five times quickly. The screen flashes, the lock icon clears and you can draw to vape.

The same five presses lock it again. If it will not unlock and the screen does not respond, the battery is likely flat: plug it in for at least 15 minutes, then try again. Our full guide on how to unlock a PIXL 8000 has more.

The screen tells you what the kit is doing. These are the messages you may see:

PIXL 8000 Keeps Locking

The lock is a toggle, so a kit loose in a pocket or bag can lock itself when the button gets knocked. Press the button underneath five times to unlock it. If it locks mid-puff or straight after unlocking, the battery is low, so charge it fully over USB-C and try again.

PIXL 8000 E2 Error

E2 means the pod is not being detected. Take the pod and container out, wipe the contacts at the base with a dry cloth, then push it firmly back in until it seats. Our guide to vape error codes covers other kits too.

OP on the PIXL 8000 Screen

OP is over-puff protection. The kit cuts the puff short when you draw for too long in one go. Wait about 10 seconds and take shorter draws. It resets on its own.

Setting Up the PIXL 8000

Setup instructions for your PIXL 8000 prefilled kit:

1. Unbox and remove all protective caps and stickers
2. Press the pod and refill container together until they click
3. Slot the assembled set into the PIXL 8000 kit
4. Wait 2 to 3 minutes for liquid to reach the mesh coil
5. Press the button on the bottom five times quickly to unlock
6. Draw on the mouthpiece to start vaping

USB-C cable isn't included. If the display shows low battery out of the box, charge fully before first use.
