Geekvape Replacement Coils

The Aegis Legend 2, Legend 3 and Legend 5 all use Geekvape Z series coils, the same ones that fit the Zeus sub-ohm tanks and the Aegis Solo. Pick a lower resistance like 0.15Ω or 0.2Ω for warm sub-ohm clouds, or a higher one for a cooler, more restricted draw.

It comes down to the kit. Z series coils fit the Zeus tanks and the Aegis Legend and Solo mods for sub-ohm DTL. B series cover the Aegis Boost, Hero and Zeus Nano across MTL and RDTL. J series go in the Digi Pro and Digi Max, and the M, S and G series cover the Z Max and other tanks. They are not interchangeable, so always match the series to your device.

Most Geekvape coils last 10 to 21 days, depending on the e-liquid and how often you vape, with sweet and dark liquids gunking them up faster. All the series use KA1 mesh, which holds up longer than old wire coils, so you usually get a clean week or two before the flavour drops off and it is time to swap.

Geekvape coils are push-fit, so changing one takes seconds. Empty the tank or pod, pull the old coil straight out of the base, then prime the new coil by dripping a little e-liquid onto the wicking holes. Push it firmly into place and leave it to soak for five minutes before vaping so it does not burn.

For nic salts, go for a higher-resistance coil, usually 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω, which gives a tighter MTL draw at lower wattage and keeps the nicotine smooth rather than harsh. Lower resistances suit higher-VG and freebase liquids in sub-ohm kits. Match the coil to the strength you vape and it will taste right.
