XROS COREX 2.0 Pods

The Vaporesso XROS COREX 2.0 pods are the original flat-mesh refillable pods built for the entire XROS kit family. Each pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, refills from the side through a silicone plug.

It also clicks onto any XROS device through the magnetic connection that has run across the range since the original kit launched. The coil is pre-installed and the resistance is set at the point of order across five options.

From a tight 1.2 ohm MTL through to a 0.4 ohm restricted DL.

The 2.0 generation sits alongside the newer COREX 3.0 Hive Mesh pod on the same magnetic seat, so a 2.0 pod drops into the same XROS kit a 3.0 pod fits, with no extra adapter. The wider Vaporesso XROS pod kit range all takes this pod natively, from the original XROS through the XROS 4 series, XROS 5 family and XROS Pro 2. The COREX 2.0 sits inside Vaporesso's broader refillable pod line-up as the original-mesh XROS option.

Each pack contains four pods. The 0.8 ohm is the most-picked option for nic salt users, the 0.6 ohm covers the loose MTL to light RDL crossover on 50/50. The 0.4 ohm leans toward restricted DL with 50/50 or thicker shortfill on the higher-wattage XROS kits.

Original Flat-Mesh Coil for Warmer Flavour

The COREX 2.0 pod runs Vaporesso's flat mesh pattern, the coil generation the XROS platform launched on. The flat surface heats at a steady, even pace and pulls a denser, warmer vape than the newer honeycomb structure inside the 3.0.

Day-to-day that shows up as a fuller bottom-end on tobacco salts and a richer body on fruit menthols. This is why a steady run of XROS users still prefer the 2.0 once they have settled on a flavour they like.

Standard cotton wicking sits around the coil. It saturates quickly during refill priming and holds e-liquid through a normal session without the slightly cooler. Paper-dry note the newer Cumulus cotton in the 3.0 can throw on the lower resistances.

Five Resistance Options From RDL to Tight MTL

Each XROS COREX 2.0 pod has its coil pre-installed, so the resistance is fixed at the point of order. The resistance picked is what shapes the draw style and how the e-liquid runs - the kit stays the same.

The 1.0 ohm and 1.2 ohm pair best with 10mg or 20mg nic salts and give the longest refill life. The 0.8 ohm is the everyday cross-over for nic salt users on a standard XROS kit. The 0.6 ohm and 0.4 ohm reward 50/50 or 70/30 shortfill juice on the higher-wattage XROS 5 and XROS Pro 2 kits.

Side-Fill Silicone Plug

The COREX 2.0 pod refills from the side through a hinged silicone plug. Lift the small tab at one edge with a fingernail and fold it open - the plug is hinged, not detachable, so it cannot drop.

Sit the e-liquid bottle nozzle into the port and fill slowly, stopping at the moulded fill line below the rim. Pressing the plug back down until it sits flush seals the port for the next session.

A fresh pod needs two to three minutes upright after the first fill so the cotton fully saturates before the first draw. Skipping the prime is the single most common cause of a burnt first puff on a brand new pod, and the scorched cotton cannot be undone.

Compatible XROS Kits

Every kit in the Vaporesso XROS series uses the same magnetic pod connection, so the COREX 2.0 pod clicks into any XROS kit without an adapter. The current lineup all takes this 2.0 pod natively:

Legacy original XROS, XROS 2 and XROS 3 kits accept the COREX 2.0 pod too. Those older kits cap output at 16W to 18W, so the 0.6 ohm and above resistances suit them best. The 0.4 ohm will fire but will not reach its full wattage range on a legacy device.
