Vaporesso Armour G/GS Replacement Pod Cartridge

The Vaporesso Armour G/GS pod cartridge is the shared 2ml refillable pod for both the Armour G and Armour GS kits. The pod itself is identical between the two kits.

The only difference is the battery: the Armour G uses a built-in 3000mAh battery, the Armour GS takes an external 18650. Each pack contains two pods, sold without coils so you fit a separate GTX coil from the 0.15 to 1.2 ohm range to suit the vape you want.

Two airflow variants are stocked on the same listing. The MTL XL has tighter air channels for mouth-to-lung nic salt vaping at the top of the resistance band.

Shared Pod for Armour G and Armour GS

The headline of this pod cartridge is that it works across both Armour pod kits without modification. The Armour G runs a built-in 3000mAh battery for vapers who prefer a sealed kit with USB-C charging only.

The Armour GS swaps that for a single 18650 battery slot, which lets you keep a spare 18650 on rotation and skip charge downtime. The pod seat, the pod body and the coil platform are identical between the two kits.

That means a pack of pods bought for the Armour G drops straight onto the Armour GS, and vice versa. If you upgrade kit at some point, the existing pods carry over with you. The same applies to the airflow variant, MTL XL or DTL XL, the choice is independent of which kit it pairs with.

MTL XL and DTL XL Airflow Variants

Each pod ships at a fixed airflow profile set at the point of order. The MTL XL variant tightens the air channels for a cigarette-style draw, which suits 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm coils paired with 10mg or 20mg nic salts. The DTL XL variant opens the channels wider for sub-ohm direct-to-lung clouds, which suits 0.15 ohm and 0.2 ohm coils paired with shortfill juice at 70VG or higher.

The mid-range 0.4 and 0.6 ohm coils work with either airflow variant depending on personal preference. Lean RDL on the DTL XL pod, or MTL on the MTL XL pod. The coil resistance is what drives the wattage band, and the airflow variant is what tunes the air-to-vapour ratio on each pull.

Replaceable Mesh Coil Range

The Armour pod accepts the full Vaporesso replaceable GTX coil range from 0.15 ohm up to 1.2 ohm. The coil threads into the pod base, and a coil swap takes about thirty seconds without disturbing the e-liquid in the pod. Pair the coil resistance with the airflow variant to land on the vape you want.

2ml Top-Fill Refillable Design

The Armour pod fills from the top through a hinged silicone plug. Lift the plug at the edge with a fingernail, sit the bottle nozzle into the port, refill to the moulded line and press the plug back flush. SSS leak-resistant tech wraps the coil and chimney in a sealed condensation seal, which keeps stray e-liquid out of the airflow path between refills.

A fresh coil needs two to three minutes upright after the first fill so the cotton wicking around the GTX coil fully saturates before the first draw. Skipping that prime step is the single most common cause of a burnt first puff on a new coil.
