Vaporesso Armour Ultra 100W Vape Kit

The Vaporesso Armour Ultra Vape Kit is the most weatherproof sub-ohm vape kit Vaporesso has made. It bundles the 5500mAh Armour Ultra mod, the new iTank T sub-ohm tank and two GTi Dual Mesh coils into one ready-to-vape package.

The result is that you can fill, fire and go straight out of the wrap. The 100W AXON chipset, IP68 + IP69K sealing and MIL-STD-810H shock certification put its durability beyond most regular sub-ohm mods.

The Armour Ultra tops the Vaporesso Armour line and belongs within the wider Vaporesso vape range. This is the full kit, not just the mod: if you already own an iTank T or another sub-ohm tank, the Armour Ultra Mod ships device-only and saves on parts you do not need to rebuy.

Seven UK finishes cover the line-up including Emerald Green, Storm Blue, Dune Gold and four other rugged matte and gradient colourways. It suits site work, bike rides or wet-weather use where a regular sub-ohm mod would get written off, and at roughly 25 percent smaller than the previous Armour S it still slips into a jacket pocket.

5500mAh Battery and USB-C Fast Charging

The 5500mAh integrated battery is one of the largest Vaporesso has fitted to a kit. On the 0.4 ohm GTi coil at 45-55W most DTL vapers see approximately two to three days of mixed use. The 0.2 ohm coil at 60-75W still returns roughly a day and a half before needing a top-up.

Charging is via a USB-C port at the base, with the fast-charge circuit filling the battery from flat in roughly one hour on a 2-3A wall plug.

Pass-through vaping works while it tops up so there is no downtime if you tap the battery mid-shift. The 0.96 inch OLED screen shows live battery percentage rather than a four-bar guess.

AXON Chipset Modes Explained

The AXON chipset behind the screen offers five vape modes on one device. Smart reads the resistance of whichever GTi coil clicks into the iTank T and sets the wattage for you.

The quickest way in if you do not want to think about it. Boost pushes a hotter pulse at the start of each inhale for thicker first-puff vapour off shortfills.

Pulse fires short repeated bursts through the coil to keep cotton evenly saturated, which slows down flavour degradation across a refill. Eco tapers wattage gradually as the battery drops to stretch the day-to-day mAh further.

Temperature Control limits coil temperature for users who prefer that style of vape, mostly relevant on nickel or titanium builds.

IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H Ruggedisation Explained

Three separate ruggedisation ratings apply to the Armour Ultra and each means something different. IP68 is the dust-tight rating with submersion at one metre for approximately 30 minutes.

IP69K goes a step beyond IP68: it certifies the kit against high-pressure hot-water jets reaching 80 degrees Celsius, the sort of pressure-washer exposure most IP-rated kits never face.

MIL-STD-810H, the military durability standard, sees the kit pass 26 drop angles from 1.2m onto hard floors.

Together they make the most weatherproof sub-ohm kit in the Vaporesso line-up, ready to take rain or a knock off a worktop without flinching.

Bundled Sub-Ohm Tank with Slide-to-Fill Top Cap

The iTank T bundled in the kit is a 2ml UK TPD-compliant sub-ohm tank. The top cap slides sideways to expose a wide fill port that takes any standard shortfill or nic salt nozzle without spillage, then snaps closed to seal.

Top airflow is adjustable through a knurled ring, opening from a restricted DTL draw down to wide-open sub-ohm clouds. The 2ml glass section is replaceable from the spare in the box, and refill plug spares sit alongside in the kit accessories.

If you ever need a second tank for swap-out filling between flavours, the iTank T sub-ohm tank is stocked separately as a single unit.

Dual Mesh Coil Compatibility and Spare Tanks

The Armour Ultra uses the Vaporesso GTi mesh coil platform. Two GTi Dual Mesh coils ship in the box: a 0.2 ohm pre-fitted in the iTank T for sub-ohm DTL clouds at 60-80W, and a 0.4 ohm spare for restricted DTL flavour-chasing at 35-50W. Both are dual-mesh designs, which Vaporesso quotes as roughly 25 percent better aroma reproduction and around 30 percent longer life than equivalent single-mesh coils.

The full GTi range is cross-compatible with the iTank T, so you can step up or down in resistance for different e-liquid styles without rebuying tanks.
