The Pro 3 answers with intelligence rather than raw power. Its Photon chipset holds roughly 80% of your flavour even when the battery drops to 20%, the point where most pod kits go flat-tasting, and Smart Wattage Control reads whichever pod you fit and caps the output so a tight MTL pod can never be fired at 30W by accident.
