Nic Salts or Freebase in an OXVA

Nic salts suit the Xlim and NeXlim kits, and OXVA recommend their 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods for nic salt e-liquids. The smoother nicotine at 10mg or 20mg suits the tight draw.

Freebase e-liquid suits the lower resistance pods and the VPrime. OXVA list the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm Xlim pods for nic salt or freebase, and both VPrime pods for either.

Keep to 50/50 VG/PG in the Xlim and NeXlim pods. E-liquid of 70% VG or more is too thick for the coil to soak up at low wattage, and that gives dry hits. On the VPrime's open pods, a higher VG shortfill gives bigger clouds.

What Nicotine Strength Should I Use

Use 20mg if you smoked heavily or use a tight 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod, and 10mg if you smoked less or use a more open 0.4 or 0.6 ohm pod.

On the VPrime's open DTL pods, drop to 3mg to 6mg freebase. Nic salt at DTL wattage hits too hard for most people.
