Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 Pod Kit

Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 is the upgraded version of the original Luxe XR Max with a bigger 3200mAh battery, 80W of power and the full GTX coil range from 0.15 to 1.2 ohm. Where most pod kits top out at 25 or 30 watts, the Luxe XR Max 2 pushes to 80W which opens up everything from big DTL clouds on the lower resistance coils to a tight MTL draw on the higher ones. The AXON chipset reads whichever GTX coil clicks in and sets the wattage automatically, so there is no fiddling with settings. A 0.96 inch TFT screen shows battery level, wattage and coil resistance at a glance, and Pulse Mode keeps flavour steady right down to the last drop of charge.

Two Luxe XR pods come in the box with a 0.2 ohm and 0.8 ohm GTX coil fitted. That covers DTL and MTL straight out of the kit. Full GTX coil range works from 0.15 to 1.2 ohm, supporting high VG e-liquids on the lower resistances and nic salts on the higher ones. Seven colours are available across standard aluminium and leather finishes by Vaporesso.

Luxe XR Max 2 Battery and Charging

A 3200mAh battery is 14% bigger than the original Luxe XR Max and 28% larger than most 80W pod kits on the market. On MTL with the 0.8 ohm coil, a single charge lasts well over a day. DTL at higher wattages drains it faster, but most vapers still get a full day.

USB-C charging fills it back up quickly. The TFT screen shows the exact battery level throughout the day.

AXON Chipset and Power Modes

AXON chipset reads the resistance of whichever GTX coil clicks in and adjusts the wattage automatically. Manual wattage control is also available through the screen for finer adjustments.

Pulse Mode keeps power delivery consistent through each puff for steady flavour, even as the battery drops. Eco Mode dials back the output to stretch battery life when running low or to make a charge last longer.

How to Lock the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2

A lock switch on the base kills the fire button completely. Flip it before putting the Luxe XR Max 2 in a pocket or bag to prevent accidental firing. Five clicks of the fire button also locks and unlocks the screen controls.

Luxe XR Max 2 GTX Coil Compatibility

Luxe XR Max 2 takes the full GTX coil range from 0.15 ohm right up to 1.2 ohm. Coils click into the Luxe XR pod, so swapping between vaping styles takes seconds. Activation is button-fire only with no auto-draw.

A 0.2 ohm coil in the box is good for big clouds and warm vapour on high VG liquids. A 0.8 ohm coil gives a tighter draw that works well with 50/50 e-liquids and nic salts.

When was the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 release date?

It came out in late 2024 as the follow up to the original Luxe XR Max. The main upgrades are a bigger 3200mAh battery, the AXON chipset, and Pulse Mode for more consistent power delivery.

Does the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 have auto draw?

No, the Luxe XR Max 2 is button activated only. You press the fire button each time you take a draw. There's no inhale activation on this kit because it runs up to 80W, which is too much power for a safe auto draw setup.

How do I unlock the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2?

Flip the lock switch on the base of the kit back to the unlocked position. If the screen's locked, five quick clicks of the fire button will unlock it. The base switch stops the fire button from working entirely while the five click lock just freezes the screen.

What's the difference between the Luxe XR Max and the Luxe XR Max 2?

Which GTX coils work with the Luxe XR Max 2?

Every single one from 0.15 ohm to 1.2 ohm fits the Luxe XR pod. Lower resistances suit DTL vaping with high VG e-liquid, and higher resistances are better for MTL with nic salts.
