Battery Performance and Charging

The Vaporesso XROS 5 battery lasts most people a full day. Some get five days from light use but heavy vapers charge daily. That 3A charging speed makes a difference - 20 minutes plugged in gets 80% battery. The XROS 5 uses USB-C so you probably have cables already. Full charge takes 35 minutes if you drain it completely.

COREX 3.0 Pod Technology

Two XROS pods come in the box - 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm with COREX 3.0 coils. These heat more evenly than older coils so flavour stays consistent. Power mode runs hotter for more flavour. Eco drops the wattage to save battery. The XROS 5 lets you manually adjust from 15W to 30W but only with 0.4ohm pods.

Adjustable Airflow Control

The airflow slides from tight MTL to loose RDL. Closed down it's like smoking a cigarette - good for nic salts. Opened up you get more vapour for 50/50 e-liquids. The Vaporesso XROS 5 airflow stays consistent whatever pod you use. The slider's firm enough it won't move in your pocket.

Display and Navigation

The 0.88" screen shows battery percentage, wattage, puffs and resistance. Six colour themes if you want to change it. One click opens the menu, two for themes, three for power settings, four for the main settings menu, five turns it on or off. The XROS 5 remembers your settings when you swap pods.

Pod Filling and Compatibility

Pull the mouthpiece out to fill the XROS pods. Each holds 2ml of e-liquid. Both nic salts and 50/50 e-liquids work fine. The Vaporesso XROS 5 takes every XROS pod made - original ones, mesh versions, and these new COREX 3.0 pods. Pods click in magnetically so they won't fall out.
