Elf Bar ELFX Mega Refillable Pod Kit

The Elf Bar ELFX Mega sits at the top of the Elf Bar ELFX refillable family alongside the ELFX, ELFX Pro, ELFX Mini and ELFX Ultra. Its name comes from the 2800mAh built-in battery, rated by Elf Bar for roughly two weeks per charge. Real-world life depends on how hard you draw and which mode you run.

Power runs up to 32W with Turbo and Eco modes selectable on the OLED screen. The side airflow slider opens or closes the draw for a tighter MTL pull or a looser RDL pull. The kit takes the Mega-only ELFX Mega XL replacement pod range, which uses Elf Bar's QUAQ Dura Tech dual mesh coil rated for around three times the lifespan of standard refillable pods.

Refill the ELFX Mega with any TPD-compliant ELFLIQ nic salt or 50/50 e-liquid. Twist the silicone stopper open, fill through the side port, then let the coil soak for a couple of minutes before the first pull.

Mega 2800mAh Battery Life

The 2800mAh built-in battery is the headline of the ELFX Mega. Elf Bar rate it for up to around 14 days per charge, which puts it well above most refillable pod kits sitting in the 1000-1500mAh range. Heavier draws, Turbo mode and the lower 0.6 ohm coil will pull that figure down, while Eco mode and the 0.8 ohm coil extend it further.

OLED Display Screen

The small OLED screen on the side of the device shows remaining battery, current mode and the resistance of the pod fitted. It is bright enough to read in daylight and goes back to standby quickly to preserve power. There are no menus to scroll through on the ELFX Mega, just clear status feedback so you know where the kit is at.

Turbo and Eco Modes

Turbo runs the coil warmer for a denser pull with stronger throat hit, useful on a fresh pod or a flavour you want to push. Eco trims the output back, lengthens battery life and reduces e-liquid consumption per puff. Switching modes on the ELFX Mega takes a single button press, so you can flip between Turbo and Eco during the day without thinking about it.

Adjustable Airflow Slider

The ELFX Mega side airflow slider runs the full range from a closed MTL draw to an open RDL pull. The closed setting feels close to an Elf Bar 600 disposable, while the open setting sits closer to a Lost Mary Nera or Hawcos refillable. Combined with the 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm coil options, the kit covers both ex-smoker MTL users and people who prefer a warmer, more open draw.

QUAQ Dura Tech and Dual Mesh Coils

Inside each XL pod sits Elf Bar's QUAQ Dura Tech dual mesh coil. The dual mesh layout heats evenly, which keeps flavour consistent through the full pod. Dura Tech is the wicking and structural upgrade Elf Bar rate for around three times the lifespan of a standard refillable pod.

ELFX Mega XL Pod Compatibility

The ELFX Mega kit takes the dedicated ELFX Mega XL refillable pod, not the standard ELFX Replacement Pod Cartridge that fits the ELFX Base, Pro, Mini and Ultra. The XL designation refers to the larger Mega-format cartridge housing, which is unique to this kit; capacity remains the same TPD-compliant 2ml. The Mega XL pod is sold in two resistances:

• 0.6 ohm XL - warmer pull, suited to RDL or open MTL with 50/50 nic salts.
• 0.8 ohm XL - tighter MTL pull, suited to closed airflow and 50/50 nic salts.

Each XL pod holds 2ml of e-liquid, fills from the side and uses a magnetic connection to the device. Pair with any 10mg or 20mg ELFLIQ nic salt or another 50/50 nic salt for the best wicking on the QUAQ Dura Tech coil.

How to Refill the ELFX Mega Pod

1. Lift the XL pod out of the device.
2. Pull the silicone stopper out of the side-fill port.
3. Drip e-liquid in until the pod reaches the max line, staying above the min line each time.
4. Push the silicone stopper firmly back into the port.
5. Stand the pod upright for two minutes so the coil soaks before the first draw.

Refill before the pod drops below the min line to keep the coil saturated and protect the Dura Tech wicking against dry hits.

Recommended Pod Settings

Elf Bar's recommended pairings for the two ELFX Mega XL pod resistances:

• 0.6 ohm Eco - min or max airflow.
• 0.6 ohm Turbo - max airflow.
• 0.8 ohm Eco - min or max airflow.
• 0.8 ohm Turbo - max airflow.

Turbo with closed airflow on the 0.8 ohm pod can run the coil warm and shorten pod life. Keep airflow open when you turn the power up.

Design and Colourways

The ELFX Mega chassis is aluminium alloy with a smooth matte finish, light in the hand and slim enough to pocket. The kit comes in six colours: Black, Cyan, Green, Navy, Purple and Silver.
