What is a Vape Tank?
A vape tank holds your e-liquid and houses the coil that heats it. Sometimes called e cig tanks or vapour tanks - same thing, different name. You screw it onto a box mod using a 510 thread - that's a universal fitting, so any tank works with any mod regardless of brand. Inside you've got a glass section for liquid, a coil in the base, a top cap for filling, and an airflow ring to adjust the draw.
Sub-ohm and MTL tanks use pre-built coils you replace every one to three weeks. RTAs, RDAs, and RDTAs are rebuildable - you wrap your own wire and wick with cotton. Rebuildables cost less to run long-term and give you more control over flavour, but there's a learning curve to get started.
There are several types of vape tank and the right one depends on how you vape.

UK TPD rules cap tank capacity at 2ml. Some tanks come with a bubble glass that stretches it slightly, but nothing goes much beyond that.
Replacement Coils
Sub-ohm and MTL vape tanks use pre-built coils that need replacing every one to three weeks. We stock coils for every tank brand we carry. Sub-ohm coils and MTL coils are on separate pages, or find them by brand: Geekvape coils, Voopoo coils, Aspire coils, Vaporesso coils, or Lost Vape coils.
RTA, RDA, and RDTA users build their own - wire, cotton, and tools are in our wick, wire and coils section.
