Vaporesso XTank T MTL Tank

The Vaporesso XTank T uses a standard 510 thread connection and a 22.4mm diameter, so it fits flush on any 510 mod with a 22mm or larger top plate. The primary pairing is the Vaporesso GTX One Pro, which was designed around this tank format - the 5 to 40W output covers the full XTank T coil range. Other Vaporesso 510 mods that take the XTank T comfortably include the Armour Ultra Mod (dual-18650 box mod) and the Armour S (single-18650 box mod up to 100W). Any other brand's 510 mod with a 22mm or larger plate will also work.

The XTank T and iTank T are two different Vaporesso tanks aimed at different vape styles. The XTank T is a slim 22.4mm MTL and RDL tank that runs the GTX coil platform (0.4 to 1.2 ohm) at 8 to 32W, with 2ml top-fill capacity, built for tight nic salt vaping or restricted RDL pulls on compact mods. The iTank T is the larger sub-ohm DTL tank bundled with the Armour Ultra Kit. Yes, the Vaporesso XTank T is built around nic salt MTL vaping. Use the 0.8 ohm, 1.0 ohm or 1.2 ohm GTX coil with 10 or 20mg nic salt e-liquid for the best results. Close the airflow ring most of the way down for a tight cigarette-style MTL draw or leave it slightly open for a looser MTL pull. Allow approximately three to five minutes for a freshly installed coil to wick before taking the first draws.

The Vaporesso XTank T uses top airflow rather than bottom airflow, which means there are no holes underneath the tank for e-liquid to seep through. Combined with Vaporesso's SSS (Sealed Safety System) leak-resistant design on the fill port, the XTank T is one of the tidier tanks to carry in a pocket or bag. To minimise leaks: keep the fill silicone plug seated properly after refilling, prime new coils with a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton before installing, and avoid overfilling past the marked line. If you ever notice leaking, check that the coil is screwed in straight and that the o-rings are seated.

The Vaporesso XTank T uses a top-fill system via a silicone plug. To refill: 1) Unscrew the top cap by twisting anti-clockwise. 2) Lift the silicone plug to expose the fill port. 3) Tilt your e-liquid bottle and fill against the inside of the glass to avoid air bubbles in the central chimney. 4) Stop filling when the level reaches the maximum line (approximately 2ml). 5) Reseat the silicone plug firmly, screw the top cap back on clockwise until snug. Allow approximately three to five minutes after a fresh coil install for the cotton to wick fully before the first draw.

Coils that burn out prematurely on the Vaporesso XTank T are usually caused by one of three issues: 1) Insufficient wicking time - new coils need approximately three to five minutes after install for the cotton to fully absorb e-liquid before you take the first draws, and a few drops of e-liquid dripped directly onto the cotton through the coil head before assembly helps prime it. 2) Wattage set too high for the coil resistance - check the recommended range on the coil head (8-12W for 1.2 ohm, 12-16W for 0.8 ohm, 20-26W for 0.6 ohm) and stay within it. 3) Chain-vaping at high wattages without giving the wick time to re-saturate between draws - leave 10 to 20 seconds between hits. High-sweetener e-liquids also gunk coils faster regardless of technique.
