Vape Tanks

Vape tanks hold your e-liquid and the coil that vaporises it, screwing onto any mod with a standard 510 fit. The range covers every style: sub-ohm tanks for big DTL clouds, MTL tanks for a tight cigarette-like draw, and rebuildables including RTAs, RDAs, RDTAs, MTL RTAs and RBA and boro tanks.

Prebuilt-coil tanks keep things simple, while rebuildables cost less to run and give the most control over flavour. Pair any tank with a vape mod and the right coils, with free UK delivery over £30 dispatched 7 days a week.

How Vape Tanks Work

A vape tank holds your e-liquid and houses the coil that heats it, also called an e-cig tank or vapour tank. It screws onto a box mod with a 510 thread, a universal fitting, so any tank works with any mod whatever the brand. Inside there is a glass section for liquid, a coil in the base, a top-fill cap and an airflow ring to set the draw. Sub-ohm and MTL tanks use prebuilt coils you replace every one to three weeks, while RTAs, RDAs and RDTAs are rebuildable, so you wrap your own wire and wick with cotton for lower running costs and more control.

Choosing a Vape Tank

Start with the draw you want. A sub-ohm tank suits high-wattage DTL clouds and high VG shortfill, while an MTL tank gives the tight, cigarette-like pull that suits nic salts and ex-smokers. If you like to tinker, a rebuildable RTA or RDA rewards you with the best flavour for the lowest long-term cost. Prices run from cheap everyday tanks to premium builds, so there is a vape tank for every setup and budget.

Replacement Coils and Parts

Prebuilt tanks need fresh coils every week or two, and rebuildables need wire and cotton. Keep spare glass and seals on hand so a knock never stops you vaping, and match the e-liquid to the tank: high VG for sub-ohm, 50/50 or nic salt for MTL.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all vape tanks universal?

Almost all vape tanks use a 510 connection, the universal thread that fits the vast majority of box mods, so a 510 tank and a 510 mod work together whatever the brand. The main exception is boro and RBA tanks, which are made to fit specific all-in-one devices rather than a standard 510 mod.

How do you unscrew a vape tank?

Hold the mod firmly and turn the tank anticlockwise to unscrew it from the 510 thread. If it is stuck, empty the tank first, then grip the metal base rather than the glass and turn slowly. Wiping a little e-liquid on the threads afterwards stops it seizing up next time.

What is the biggest vape tank you can get in the UK?

UK vape tanks are capped at 2ml of e-liquid capacity under TPD rules, so even a large vape tank holds 2ml in its standard glass. Many tanks come with a wider bubble glass that looks bigger but still fills to the 2ml line. Rebuildable and squonk setups carry more liquid in the device bottle rather than the tank.

What is the difference between RTA, RDA and sub-ohm tanks?

A sub-ohm tank uses prebuilt coils and holds e-liquid in a glass, the simplest option. An RTA, or rebuildable tank atomiser, also holds liquid in a tank but you build the coil yourself. An RDA, or rebuildable dripping atomiser, has no tank, so you drip e-liquid straight onto the coil for the purest flavour but refill more often.
