Lost Mary vs Elf Bar: Which Is Better?

Lost Mary and Elf Bar are sister brands from the same company.
The differences are in the kits: every Lost Mary kit we sell takes prefilled pods, while Elf Bar also make refillable pod kits that you fill from a bottle.
This guide compares the Lost Mary BM600 with the Elf Bar 600, which brand lasts longer, nicotine strength and the two brands' nic salts.

Lost Mary or Elf Bar: Which Should You Choose
Neither brand is ahead on everything. Lost Mary has a wider choice of large prefilled kits, and Elf Bar is the one if you want a refillable kit or two flavours in one kit.

If you would rather fill from a bottle, the Elf Bar ELFA Turbo Refillable Pod Vape Kit takes refillable pods and has two power modes.
Elf Bar's refillable kits are slim pod kits rather than tank kits.
Like other refillable vape kits, they let you choose your own e-liquid and nicotine strength.
Is Lost Mary Made by Elf Bar
Yes. Lost Mary is Elf Bar's sister brand. The UK websites for both are owned by the same company, IMIRACLE (HK) Limited, and the US FDA describes Lost Mary as manufactured by the same firm as Elf Bar.
Elf Bar has been making vapes since 2018. The two brands now publish joint guides for retailers and work together against fake vapes.
Elf Bar 600 vs Lost Mary BM600
In their joint guide for retailers, Elf Bar and Lost Mary give their 600 kits the same basics: a 20mg pod rated at approximately 600 puffs, a battery that recharges more than 300 times, and a charge in under an hour.
The differences are in the battery figures and which pods fit:
- Battery: Elf Bar publish 500mAh for the Elf Bar 600. Lost Mary do not publish a figure for the BM600.
- Pods: the Elf Bar 600 kit takes Elf Bar 600 pods and, according to Elf Bar, ELFA Pro pods too. The BM600 takes BM600 pods.

The Elf Bar 600 Prefilled Pod Kit charges over USB Type-C and fires when you inhale, with no buttons.
The Lost Mary BM600 Prefilled Pod Kit also charges over USB Type-C and fires when you inhale.
Replacement Elf Bar pods for the 600 come two to a pack.
Lost Mary BM600 refill pods also come two to a pack.
After a week with one, our Elf Bar 600 review found a tight draw, a firm 20mg hit and very sweet flavours.
Which Lasts Longer, Elf Bar or Lost Mary
On puff ratings, Lost Mary. A Lost Mary Nera pack is rated at approximately 15,000 puffs, against approximately 10,000 for an Elf Bar Dual 10K pack. The two 600 kits are level at approximately 600 puffs a pod.

Take puff ratings with a pinch of salt, though. The Nera, Dual 10K and BM6000 packs all hold the same amount of e-liquid, yet their ratings range from approximately 6,000 to approximately 15,000 puffs.
How long a pack lasts you depends on how often and how long you draw, so the total e-liquid in a pack, shown in the table above, is a better guide than the puff count.
By that measure, the Nera, Dual 10K and BM6000 packs are level, and each holds six times as much e-liquid as a 600 kit pod.

The Lost Mary Nera 30K Fullview Prefilled Pod Kit comes with two pods, each with its own container, and takes one at a time.
The Elf Bar Dual 10K Prefilled Pod Kit holds two flavours at once, with a switch to change between them.
The Lost Mary BM6000 Prefilled Pod Vape Kit sits in between, and Lost Mary rate its battery to last a whole pack on one charge.
The Nera and BM6000 refill packs are sold separately as Lost Mary pods.
Like most prefilled pods and vape refills for larger kits, each pack pairs a pod with a container that tops it up as you vape.
When a BM6000 pack is empty, how to refill a Lost Mary BM6000 comes down to swapping in a new pod and container.
Lost Mary vs Elf Bar Nicotine
The Elf Bar 600, Dual 10K, BM600 and Nera all use 20mg nic salt, which is 2% nicotine and the highest strength allowed in the UK. At that strength a 2ml pod carries roughly a pack of cigarettes' worth of nicotine.
The exception is the BM6000. We sell it in 20mg, with five flavours also in 10mg, which is 1% nicotine.
Lost Mary vs Elf Bar Flavours
Many flavour names appear in both brands' pods, such as Blue Razz Lemonade, Cherry Ice and Pink Lemonade.
Both brands also make bottled nic salt e-liquid for refillable kits: MaryLiq from Lost Mary and ELFLIQ from Elf Bar.
Both are 50/50 VG/PG, and we sell ELFLIQ and MaryLiq in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg.
We have ranked every MaryLiq flavour in order.
The ten ELFLIQ flavours we rate highest are ranked too.
Both sit alongside other nic salt e-liquids in the same 10ml bottles.
