Vaporesso Armour GS Pod Mod Kit

The Vaporesso Armour GS is the removable-battery member of the Vaporesso Armour range. A single 18650 battery is held behind a thumb-screw door.

Swap a fresh one in the moment the kit goes flat, no waiting on a charging cable. Output stretches from 5W up to 80W through the AXON chipset. The 2ml top-fill pod takes any coil from the GTX range, 0.15 ohm down to 1.2 ohm.

Three power modes operate through the AXON chip behind a 0.96-inch TFT colour screen. Smart drives auto wattage, Pulse fires warmer flavour bursts and ECO stretches battery life away from a charger. A clicked 4-level airflow ring on top of the pod moves you from a tight MTL draw, through restricted DTL, up to wide-open sub-ohm clouds without guesswork.

The Armour GS arrives as genuine UK stock from Vaporesso, with sealed TPD-compliant 2ml pods and ten colour finishes.

The 18650 battery is sold separately and a high-drain 20A cell handles the full 80W. The Armour GS lands at the mid-power end of the Vaporesso lineup, with the swap-out battery door the headline that splits it from the integrated-battery Armour G.

Single 18650 Battery and USB-C Charging

The battery bay is behind a thumb-screw door on the base of the Armour GS. A single 18650 fits with the positive end facing up.

Stick to a name-brand 20A or higher continuous-discharge battery, with the Vapcell K25 18650 covering the full 80W output without strain. The AXON chipset pulls serious current at peak, so unbranded 18650 batteries should be avoided at the top of the wattage band.

USB-C charging is 2A from the base port, so the Armour GS tops the 18650 up inside the kit. Most Armour GS owners keep a second 18650 on rotation in an external charger, so one is full while the other is in use. Pass-through vaping works while the kit is plugged in, so there is no downtime mid-session.

AXON Chipset with Smart, Pulse and ECO Modes

The AXON chip inside the Armour GS carries three modes. Smart Mode reads the coil you screw in and lands the wattage in the right band for that resistance.

The kit is ready to vape straight out of the wrap. Pulse Mode fires the coil in short warm bursts at the start of each draw. This lifts the flavour ceiling on the lower-resistance 0.15 and 0.2 ohm mesh heads.

ECO Mode tapers the Armour GS output as the 18650 drains, stretching the battery further when you are low on charge. Mode switching uses three fast clicks of the fire button, with the active mode shown on the TFT screen.

Replaceable Mesh Coil Range

The Armour GS pod takes the full Vaporesso GTX coil platform from 0.15 ohm up to 1.2 ohm, so one device covers tight MTL nic salt at the top of the band through to sub-ohm shortfill clouds at the bottom. The 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm mesh heads ship in the kit, and the wattage band moves with whichever coil you fit. A dedicated MTL pod is available separately for a tighter cigarette-style draw on the 0.8 and 1.2 ohm heads.

2ml Top-Fill Pod with SSS Leak Resistance

The 2ml refillable pod on the Armour GS fills from the top through a silicone plug. Lift the plug at the edge with a fingernail, drop the bottle nozzle in, refill to the moulded line and press the plug back flush. Capacity is sealed at 2ml in line with UK TPD rules.

Vaporesso's SSS leak-resistant tech wraps the coil and chimney in a sealed condensation housing, which keeps stray e-liquid out of the airflow path between refills. The same Armour G and GS replacement pod works across both kits.

0.96-Inch TFT Colour Display

The 0.96-inch TFT colour screen on the Armour GS is set dead-centre above the fire button. It shows wattage, real-time 18650 percentage, current coil resistance and the active mode, all at a glance. Three UI themes ship on the Armour GS, Race Car, General and RIM, each with its own animation set on screen transitions.

Five rapid clicks of the fire button engage a child lock and turn the screen off, useful if the kit is going into a bag or pocket. Five clicks again unlocks.

4-Level Top Airflow Ring

A clicked airflow ring on the top of the Armour GS pod gives four set positions. The detents hold the position you pick, so the airflow does not drift in a pocket.

Closed down to the tightest setting, the draw mimics a cigarette pull for nic salt MTL. The two middle positions land at restricted DTL territory, and the fully open setting matches sub-ohm cloud production on the 0.15 ohm coil.

Top-positioned airflow keeps the inlet away from your fingers and the side of the kit. The SSS sealed housing underneath routes condensation away from the common leak paths.
