PIXL Duo 12 Pod Kit

Two flavours sit inside the PIXL Duo 12 at the same time, and you switch between them by rotating the kit so the other pod faces up. The battery is 850mAh with mesh coils in both pods. You also get a boost button on the side for when the standard draw isn't enough. Each pod set lasts approximately 6,000 puffs.

Two 1ml pods and two 5ml refill containers come in every kit, all prefilled with 20mg nic salt. Twelve millilitres of liquid in total before you need to swap anything. Fourteen PIXL Duo 12 refill pod editions in the range, each one pairing two flavours that go well together.

How to Unlock the PIXL Duo 12

Five quick clicks on the side button and you're in. The screen flashes to let you know the PIXL Duo 12 is unlocked. Lock it the same way when you're putting it in a pocket or bag.

Won't unlock at all? Charge it first. The kit ignores button presses when the battery is flat. Check both pods are seated properly too because it won't fire without a pod connection. If none of that sorts it, hold the button down for five seconds. That does a hard reset and usually clears the problem.

Boost Mode

Two quick clicks on the side button turns boost on. You'll see the fire icon pop up on the screen. Vapour gets thicker, the draw runs warmer, and flavour hits harder on whichever pod you've got facing up. Two clicks again and it's back to normal.

It stays on until you turn it off, so you don't have to hold anything down while you vape. Battery drains faster in boost though. Run it all day and you'll probably need a charge before the evening.

Rotating to Switch Flavours

Turn the whole kit 180 degrees. The mouthpiece shifts to the other pod and you're on your second flavour. No pods to pull out, no swapping anything. Both pods stay loaded the entire time.

Every PIXL Duo 12 edition pairs two flavours in one kit. When both run empty, pull the set out and click in a fresh pair from the same edition or try a different one.

Display Codes

Your PIXL Duo 12 screen tells you more than just battery level. A few codes show up depending on what's going on:

E2 nearly always comes down to the pods not sitting flush. Give them a proper push until they click. If E2 won't clear after that, swap in a different pod set and see if it's a dud connection. OP sorts itself out once the coil temperature drops back down.

Battery and Charging

Most vapers get a full day from the 850mAh battery in standard mode. Boost chews through it quicker, so keep an eye on the bars if you're running it a lot. USB-C charging, and the screen shows the level while it's plugged in. No cable in the box though.

You won't need a new kit every time the pods run out. The battery lasts through plenty of pod changes before anything else needs replacing.

Setting Up the PIXL Duo 12

1. Unbox all three parts: battery unit, two pods, two refill containers
2. Click both refill containers together
3. Attach the mouthpiece unit on top
4. Slide the assembled set into the battery
5. Press the button five times quickly to unlock
6. Wait 2 to 3 minutes for both mesh coils to soak
7. Draw on the mouthpiece to vape the top flavour
8. Rotate 180° to switch to the other flavour
9. Double-click the side button to activate boost mode

USB-C cable not included. Charge fully before first use if the display shows low battery.
