The PIXL 5K is the entry point to the PIXL prefilled range, named for the 5,000 puffs it gets from a single pod set. Inside the box is an 800mAh battery with an LED screen for the charge level, a 2ml prefilled pod, and a 4ml refill container that tops the pod up as you vape. That comes to 6ml of 20mg nic salt.

It is a straight swap for anyone who wants the prefilled pod kit format without carrying something the size of a big-puff kit. Ten flavours come as a starter kit, with sixteen available as separate refill pods. If you want more capacity from the same brand, the PIXL 8000 holds 12ml.

How the Pod and Refill Container Work

Each refill is two parts. A 2ml prefilled pod holds the mesh coil, and a 4ml container clips underneath it and feeds e-liquid up into the pod as the level drops. There is no filling to do and no bottle to carry.

When both are empty, pull the used set out and click a fresh one in. Every new pod brings a new coil with it, so the flavour does not fade the way it does on a kit where the coil stays put. The battery body is the only part you keep.

On the puff figure, 5,000 is the manufacturer maximum from short, tight draws. Longer pulls and chain vaping will empty the set faster, so the real total varies from one person to the next.

800mAh Battery and LED Screen

An 800mAh battery powers the kit, topped up over USB-C in about 35 minutes from flat. The LED screen on the body shows the charge level as you vape, which gives you warning before it cuts out mid-session rather than after.

A USB-C cable is not supplied. Any phone-style cable and a 5V adapter will do the job. The 800mAh capacity is sized to cover the full 6ml with a top-up to spare.

Mesh Coil and 20mg Nic Salt

Every pod holds a mesh coil with the e-liquid sealed in at 20mg. Mesh heats across a wider surface than older round-wire coils, so the flavour holds up from the first draw of a fresh pod to the last of the container.

The airflow is fixed and tuned for mouth-to-lung, the tight cigarette-style draw most ex-smokers prefer. Nic salt at 20mg gives a fast, smooth hit without the throat harshness of freebase liquid at the same strength. The same flavours are bottled as PIXL nic salts if you would rather use a refillable kit.

Setting Up Your PIXL 5K

1. Unbox the kit and take off every protective cap and sticker.
2. Pull the small plug from the base of the 4ml refill container.
3. Press the 2ml pod and the container together until they click as one unit.
4. Slot the assembled set into the kit body until it seats flush.
5. Wait two to three minutes for the e-liquid to reach the mesh coil.
6. Draw on the mouthpiece to vape, inhale activated with no button.

If the kit does not fire out of the box, press the button five times quickly to release the lock, then charge it fully before first use.
