The Elux Legend 8000 is the prefilled pod kit version of the name Elux built on disposables, named for the 8,000 puffs it gets from one pod set. In the box is a 1000mAh battery with a digital screen for the charge level, a 2ml prefilled pod and a 10ml refill container that tops the pod up as you vape. That comes to 12ml of 20mg nic salt.

How the Pod and Refill Container Work

Each refill is two parts. A 2ml prefilled pod holds the mesh coil, and a 10ml container clips underneath it and feeds e-liquid up into the pod as the level drops. There is no filling to do and no bottle to carry.

When both are empty, pull the used set out and click a fresh one in. Every new pod brings a new coil with it, so the flavour does not fade the way it does on a kit where the coil stays put. The battery body is the only part you keep.

Pods are sold separately once the first set is empty, so the battery body carries on and only the pod and container get replaced. That is the difference between this and the old Legend disposable, where the whole thing went in the bin at the end.

On the puff figure, 8,000 is the manufacturer maximum from short, tight draws. Longer pulls and chain vaping will empty the set faster, so the real total varies from one person to the next.

1000mAh Battery and Digital Screen

A 1000mAh battery powers the kit, topped up over USB-C. The screen on the body shows the charge level as you vape, which gives you warning before it cuts out mid-session rather than after.

A USB-C cable is not supplied. Any phone-style cable and a 5V adapter will do the job. At 1000mAh the battery is sized to cover the full 12ml with charges to spare, which is what the pod set needs given how much liquid it holds.

Mesh Coil and 20mg Nic Salt

Every pod holds a mesh coil with the e-liquid sealed in at 20mg. Mesh heats across a wider surface than older round-wire coils, so the flavour holds up from the first draw of a fresh pod to the last of the container.

The airflow is fixed and tuned for mouth-to-lung, the tight cigarette-style draw most ex-smokers prefer. Nic salt at 20mg gives a fast, smooth hit without the throat harshness of freebase liquid at the same strength.

Setting Up Your Elux Legend 8000

1. Unbox the kit and take off every protective cap and sticker.
2. Pull the small plug from the base of the 10ml refill container.
3. Press the 2ml pod and the container together until they click as one unit.
4. Slot the assembled set into the kit body until it seats flush.
5. Wait two to three minutes for the e-liquid to reach the mesh coil.
6. Draw on the mouthpiece to vape, inhale activated with no button.

Charge the kit fully before the first session. The screen shows the level while it charges, so there is no guessing when it is done.
