OXVA V Prime

The OXVA VPrime is the pod kit OXVA call the first auto draw DTL pod. Draw on it and it fires straight away at up to 60W, so you get direct lung clouds from a pod kit. Behind that is a 2600mAh battery, a 0.96 inch colour screen and OXVA's UNITECH 2.0 pods, and it sits with the rest of the OXVA vapes we sell.

Although the V Prime is made for DTL on the 0.2 ohm pod, it drops down to a tight MTL draw on the 0.8 ohm, so one kit covers both ways of vaping. It takes freebase and nic salt e-liquids, which makes it an easy step up for anyone who has outgrown a smaller pod but does not want a full tank kit.

Auto-Draw Technology

Most DTL pod kits make you hold a button while you inhale. The VPrime fires as soon as you draw, and OXVA say its high-precision sensor matches the fire button at 0.01 seconds. The button is still there if you prefer it, so you get both ways to fire.

Auto draw works on all four pods, from the 0.2 ohm at the top of the wattage range to the 0.8 ohm for a tighter mouth to lung draw.

2600mAh Battery and 60W Output

The 2600mAh battery is built in rather than removable, and charges by USB-C at 5V/2A. It powers 5 to 60W, set with the plus and minus power adjustment buttons, and the screen shows the battery level as you vape.

UNITECH 2.0 Coils

Every VPrime pod has OXVA's UNITECH 2.0 coil built in, so when the flavour fades you change the pod. OXVA rate it at 50% better flavour restoration, 45% more vapour and 30% longer coil life, with five layers of leak protection and a top fill.

DTL to MTL

The VPrime takes four pods, each with a coloured base so you can tell them apart at a glance:

0.96 Inch Colour Screen and Themes

The 0.96 inch colour screen shows your wattage, pod resistance, battery and puff count, with 3D visuals and three themes from OXVA: Space Boy, Rocket Launch and Cosmic Journey. Every setting is changed with the buttons.

How to Use the OXVA VPrime

To use the OXVA VPrime, press the fire button 5 times in 2 seconds to turn it on, then draw or press the button to vape. These are the controls from OXVA's manual:

Lock or unlock the fire button	Hold plus and minus together for 1.5 seconds
Reset the puff counter	Press the fire button 2 times to open the menu

Before the first puff on a fresh pod:

1. Fill the pod from the top and close it straight away to help stop leaks.
2. Leave it for 5 to 8 minutes, as OXVA's manual advises, so the coil soaks and does not burn.
3. Set the side airflow, turn the kit on and draw.

The VPrime stops firing after 8 seconds of continuous vaping as a safety cut-off. The screen can also show these messages:

No Atomizer	The pod is not detected
Short	A short circuit is detected
Timeout	The puff lasted over 8 seconds
Temp High	The device is too hot
