OXVA VPrime Pods

OXVA VPrime pods are the refillable replacement pods for the OXVA VPrime and VPrime 2, two pods to a pack. OXVA make two versions and both fit both kits: the VPrime cartridge with the UNITECH 2.0 coil in 0.2, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 ohm, and the newer VPrime Dual Mesh cartridge with UNITECH 3.0 in 0.4 and 0.6 ohm, listed here as the VPrime 2 pods.

These are refillable pods, not prefilled ones, so you fill them with your own freebase or nic salt e-liquid. Each pod fills from the top through a silicone plug, and the coil is built in, so when the flavour fades you change the whole pod.

UNITECH 2.0 Coil

The VPrime cartridge uses OXVA's UNITECH 2.0 coil, a mesh heating strip inside layered cotton. OXVA put it at 50% better flavour restoration, 45% more vapour and 30% longer coil life, and build the pod with a five layer leak proof structure. It covers every draw the OXVA VPrime does, from the open 0.2 ohm DTL pod to the tighter 0.8 ohm MTL pod.

OXVA VPrime 2 Pods

The VPrime 2 pods are OXVA's VPrime Dual Mesh cartridge, the pod that comes with the OXVA VPrime 2 kit. Two mesh strips heat together, which OXVA say heats more evenly, and they rate it at 200% flavour and 200% lifespan. They fit the original VPrime too.

The pod uses UNITECH 3.0, with a U shaped airway for a smoother draw and a larger condensate collection chamber that OXVA say gives better leak protection. In the VPrime 2's Boost mode, OXVA rate the 0.4 ohm pod at about 0.2 ohm and the 0.6 ohm pod at about 0.3 ohm, while Eco mode is for longer battery and pod life.

OXVA VPrime Pods Wattage and Resistance

Each VPrime pod has its own colour on the base, and OXVA print the draw and wattage on the base of the VPrime cartridge.

The 0.2 ohm pod is the one for big clouds on freebase shortfill e-liquid, and the VPrime 2 pods give a similar open draw in Boost mode, set tighter or looser on the kit's airflow.

The 0.8 ohm pod gives the tightest mouth to lung draw in the range and suits nic salt vape juice, with the 0.4 and 0.6 ohm pods in between for a restricted lung draw.

Which Pods Fit the OXVA VPrime and VPrime 2

Both OXVA VPrime pods fit both kits. OXVA list the VPrime cartridge for the VPrime 2 and the VPrime Dual Mesh cartridge for the VPrime, so you can move between them on either refillable vape.

There is no coil to change in these pods. OXVA make a separate VPrime Empty Cartridge for their 0.4 and 0.6 ohm VPrime replacement coils.

How Long Do OXVA VPrime Pods Last

OXVA do not give a set number of refills for VPrime pods. They rate the UNITECH 2.0 coil at 30% longer life and the dual mesh pod at 200% lifespan, and the VPrime 2's Eco mode is there for longer pod life. How long one of these replacement vape pods lasts depends on the wattage, the resistance and the e-liquid, so change it when the flavour fades or the vape tastes burnt.
