The Argus Z3 is the light one. At 41.6g and 16.6mm thick it is closer to a phone in a pocket than a vape, and Voopoo have kept the interface just as light with four LED dots for the battery and a slider for the airflow. There is no screen and no menu to work through.

The Multi-Ohm Cartridge

This is the part Voopoo have actually changed. Instead of one coil per pod, the Argus Multi-Ohm cartridge carries both a 0.7ohm and a 1.0ohm inside the same shell, and the kit switches between them. A tighter, cooler draw on the 1.0ohm for a working day, a warmer one on the 0.7ohm when you want more from it, without unscrewing anything or keeping a spare pod in your bag.

1100mAh in 41.6g

1100mAh is a full day at these wattages for most people. What is unusual is fitting it into 41.6g, which is light enough that you stop noticing it is in a pocket. Charging is over Type-C at 5V and 1A, so it is an overnight or a couple of hours rather than a fast charge.

Stepless Airflow

The slider on the side moves smoothly rather than clicking between set positions, so you can sit it anywhere from a cigarette tight draw to something noticeably looser. It is a small control on a small kit, and it does more for how this vapes than the wattage does. Most Voopoo pods at this price give you three notches and nothing between them.

Which Strength to Fill It With

UK law caps nicotine at 20mg, and all three resistances work at that strength. The 1.0ohm is the one to pick if you want the tightest draw and the longest a pod will last, the 0.7ohm sits in the middle, and the 0.4ohm is the loosest of the three. On any of them a 20mg salt is the closest match to a cigarette.

Eight Safety Protections

Short circuit, overheat, low voltage, overcharge and the rest are all handled by the chip rather than being something you think about. It is the ordinary list, but it is worth knowing it is there on a kit this small and this cheap.

Colours

Six: Cyber Black, Pearl White, Coral Pink, Denim Blue, Grass Green and Blazing Orange. The panels are a woven leather texture set into a coloured frame, and the Blazing Orange is the odd one out with a blue frame against the orange. Sat beside the rest of our pod kits it is the flattest and the lightest.
