ELFBAR, Then and Now

Today, Elfbar is a household name for millions of vapers worldwide but, that wasn’t always the case and in this blog I will take a deep dive into how an unassuming disposable e-cigarette manufacturer rose to become one of the most recognisable vape brands in the world.

Founded in 2018 in Shenzhen, China, Elfbar set out with a simple vision to provide current smokers a safer and healthier way to tackle nicotine cravings by releasing one of the most efficient and easy to use disposable vapes, the Elfbar 600. In this blog I will cover their original and latest product lines.

Back in 2018, Elfbar released the Elfbar 600, a simple and straightforward disposable vape that could be used by anyone, they dispensed with fancy screens and buttons and instead used auto-draw technology (this works by activating the coil when you inhale) making the Elfbar 600 extremely user-friendly so that even with zero vaping knowledge you could pick up an Elfbar 600 and get vaping straight away.

The v2 kept all of the same design cues as the original but Elfbar had developed a new coil technology called Quaq, this new mesh coil offered extra durability over the standard disposable but was also able to absorb or wick e-liquid much more efficiently which greatly enhanced the flavour and lifespan of their disposables.

Along with still selling the Elfbar 600/600 v2, Elfbar now has a wide range of vaping products from disposables to nic salt e-liquids. In this section I will go over Elfbar’s current lineup of vaping products.

Elfbar’s flagship product the 600 and the later improved 600 v2 saw instant success worldwide, its super user-friendly design combined with tantalising flavours made them a ‘no-brainer’ for new and existing vapers. The AF5000 is fully TPD compliant and boasts a whopping 5000 (approx.) ‘puffs’ from each device which is around 8 times more than with their standard 600 disposable vape. The AF5000 has an internal e-liquid capacity of 2 ml but the magic is the included 10 ml bottle that is capable of automatically refilling the internal 2 ml tank, it’s innovation like that that makes Elf Bar a leading vape brand.
