Elf Bar ELFX Pro Classic Edition Pod Kit

The Elf Bar ELFX Pro Classic Edition is the vegan leather version of the ELFX Pro. It is a refillable pod kit with a 1200mAh battery, a 0.96 inch colour screen and Turbo and Eco modes from 5W to 45W, and it comes with a 0.6 ohm and a 0.8 ohm pod and a Type-C cable.

As a refillable vape, it takes 2ml pods you fill from a bottle, so once you have the kit you mainly buy e-liquid and a pack of pods now and then.

Turbo and Eco Modes

Each ELFX pod has two mesh coils built in, so you change the whole pod rather than buying separate vape coils. In Eco mode the coils take turns, which Elf Bar says doubles pod lifespan and keeps over 97% flavour consistency. In Turbo mode they fire together, which Elf Bar puts at 200% of the flavour intensity of a single mesh.

Colour Screen and Two Buttons

The 0.96 inch colour screen shows your power, mode and battery level, and two separate buttons keep firing apart from settings so they never clash. One click switches Turbo and Eco, two change the power, three lock the kit, and a 2 second hold opens the function menu. Elf Bar also lets you raise or lower the power while you vape.

1200mAh Battery and Fast Charging

The 1200mAh battery charges over Type-C at 5V/2A, which Elf Bar says reaches 80% in 30 minutes, and you can keep vaping while it charges. Seven protections, covering short circuit, overcharge, over-current, low battery, overtemperature, max power and an 8 second firing cut-off, keep the battery safe. It is the same battery as in the standard ELFX Pro.

ELFX Pro Classic Pods

The kit comes with two ELFX dual mesh pods, a 0.6 ohm and a 0.8 ohm, each holding 2ml and filled from the top. When they wear out, ELFX replacement pods come in packs of three in both resistances. We sold over 130 packs of them in the last three months.

Elf Bar's pod chart puts the 0.6 ohm at 20W to 25W in Eco and 18W to 35W in Turbo, for rich flavour and dense vapour. The 0.8 ohm sits at 13W to 17W in Eco and 15W to 25W in Turbo, for moderate flavour and ample vapour. The full 45W needs Elf Bar's 0.4 ohm pod, sold separately.

For filling, Elf Bar pairs the kit with its own ELFLIQ nic salts.

Other nic salt e-liquids up to the UK limit of 20mg work too.

Whatever vape juice you choose, Elf Bar recommends a 50/50 VG to PG ratio for ELFX pods.

ELFX Pro vs ELFX Pro Classic Edition

Inside they are the same kit: a 1200mAh battery, 5W to 45W, a 0.96 inch colour screen, two buttons and the same ELFX pods. Elf Bar's feature grid covers both, and marks the dynamic RGB lights as ELFX Pro only.

The difference is the outside. The Classic Edition is wrapped in naturally derived vegan leather over a zinc alloy body, which Elf Bar says is degradable and stands up to daily wear. The standard ELFX Pro has an aluminium alloy body with a U-shaped PC cover around the screen and RGB lights with four effects.

How to Use the ELFX Pro Classic Edition

Setting it up takes six steps, with a 5 minute wait after the first fill:

1. Pull the silicone plug on the pod open, fill it with e-liquid and put the plug back straight away.
2. Wait 5 minutes so the coil can soak, to avoid dry hits.
3. Push the pod into the top of the device.
4. Turn the kit on with 5 clicks.
5. Click once to pick Turbo or Eco.
6. Click twice to set the power, from 5W to 45W.

Three clicks lock and unlock the kit, so it does not fire in a pocket or bag.
