Gotek Pro 2 Pod Kit, 2500mAh

The Gotek Pro 2 is the biggest battery in the Gotek range at 2500mAh, nearly four times the original Gotek X. It keeps what the line is known for, the auto draw and the side fill pod. Added on top are three power modes and a segment screen showing the level you are on.

The body is aluminium alloy rather than plastic, at 91 x 48 x 21mm. Aspire make it in six finishes, and it takes every pod in the Gotek family.

Three Power Modes

A triple click moves between ECO, NOR and MAX. Aspire do not publish a wattage figure for any of them, so treat it as three steps rather than three numbers.

ECO is the coolest and stretches the battery furthest. MAX gives the warmest vapour and the most of it.

The Battery

2500mAh is a lot for a kit this size, and it is the headline change over the older Gotek models. Most pod kits at this size carry well under half that.

Charging is Type-C at 2A. Worth knowing before you order that Aspire do not put a cable in the box.

Screen and Airflow

The segment display shows the power level and the battery, so there is no guessing where you are. It is a simple readout rather than a full colour panel.

Airflow is a slider on the base. Close it down for a tight mouth to lung draw, open it out for a looser one.

Build

Aluminium alloy through the body gives it weight in the hand that the plastic Gotek kits do not have. The patterned panel is part of the metal rather than a printed wrap.

At 91 x 48 x 21mm it still sits flat in a pocket. Everything sits on one face, the screen, the button and the airflow.

Against the Rest of the Gotek Line

Battery is where the Pro 2 separates itself. Here is how it sits against the two Gotek kits we already stock.

That is nearly four times the Gotek X and roughly double the X3. All three take the same pods.

Pods and Compatibility

The kit ships with one Gotek V2 pod at 0.8 ohm, already fitted. UK pods hold 2ml to stay inside TPD rules, and they fill from the side.

The Gotek Pod V2 carries an upgraded mesh coil, which Aspire credit for faster heating and steadier flavour deeper into the pod. Spares come two to a pack in 2ml or the 4.5ml XL.

The bigger point is what else fits. This takes the whole Gotek pod family, not just the V2.

Refillable Gotek pods come in 0.6 and 0.8 ohm, and the prefilled ones are 1.0 ohm. That is a wide net for a kit at this price.

Fill the refillable pods with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids. Aspire specify 50 percent VG.

Keep away from high VG shortfills at 60 percent and above. A mesh pod this size cannot wick them fast enough and you get a dry hit.

What the Parts Are

The pod carries the coil, so there is nothing separate to change. When the flavour goes, the whole pod goes.

That keeps it simple, which is the whole point of the Gotek line. It sits alongside the Gotek X3 and the rest of our pod kits.
