Gotek Refillable V2 Pods

The Gotek Pod V2 is the newest refillable pod in the Gotek range, and it is the one fitted in the Gotek Pro 2. Two come in a pack, in a 2ml pod or the 4.5ml XL. The change over the older Gotek pod is the coil inside.

Aspire make both sizes in 0.6 ohm and 0.8 ohm. All of them fill from the side and carry the coil built in.

What the V2 Coil Changes

Aspire have reworked the mesh rather than the shell. They put the gain at five things. Bolder flavour, instant heating, consistent performance, longer life and a smoother vape.

Those are Aspire's own figures rather than ours. What it means day to day is a pod that holds flavour further in before it starts to fade.

Which Resistance to Pick

The 0.8 ohm is the tighter of the two and the one fitted in the Pro 2. It gives a mouth to lung draw close to a cigarette.

The 0.6 ohm opens the draw out to a restricted lung pull. Vapour is warmer and there is more of it, and battery goes down quicker.

Fill either with nic salts or 50/50 e-liquids. Keep away from high VG shortfills. A 2ml mesh pod cannot wick them fast enough.

2ml or XL

Both sizes take the same coil and the same fitting. The only difference is how much they hold.

The 2ml is the TPD pod and the one supplied in kits. The XL holds 4.5ml, so it goes further between refills.

Which Kits They Fit

The V2 is the pod Aspire supply with the Gotek Pro 2. That is the pairing they name, and it shares the Gotek series fitting.

One thing worth knowing before you order. The 0.6 ohm draws more power than the Gotek X and Gotek S can give it, so those two want the 0.8 ohm.

On an older kit and happy with what you have? The Gotek X replacement pods are still stocked in both resistances.
