Nic salt juice, also sold as nicotine salts, salt nic or vape salts, is the 10ml, 50/50 nic salt vape juice made for refillable pod kits. The nicotine is bound with benzoic acid, so 10mg and 20mg stay smooth in a low powered kit.

Choose Your Nic Salt Strength: 5mg, 10mg or 20mg

Pick 20mg if you smoked 15 a day or more, 10mg if you smoked up to ten, and 5mg if you were a light or social smoker. All three are capped at 20mg per ml under UK TPD rules.

Do not put a 20mg nic salt through a sub-ohm coil. The extra power pushes far more nicotine per puff than the strength was designed for, and it will feel harsh. Sub-ohm setups want a low strength high VG shortfill instead.

Nic salt is a type of vape juice, not a different product. The term vape juice covers everything in a bottle; a nic salt is the version where the nicotine is bound with benzoic acid so it stays smooth at higher strengths. The other common type is freebase, which is sharper on the throat and comes in lower strengths for bigger kits.

No, and no worse. The nicotine is the same as in any other e-liquid, so 20mg is 20mg either way. The NHS position is that vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking because you are not inhaling tar or carbon monoxide. It is not harmless, and it is for adult smokers who want to stop, not for non-smokers or anyone under 18.

It depends what you vaped before. If you came off a bar, the salt version of that brand is the closest match, which usually means ELFLIQ, Lost Mary, SKE Crystal or Bar Juice 5000. It depends how often you vape, but a 10ml bottle of nic salt usually lasts an average pod user about five to seven days. Lighter vapers get a week or more, while heavier vapers replacing a disposable bar may go through one in three to four days.

It is not recommended. Nic salts are made for low-power MTL pod kits at higher strengths, so using a 20mg nic salt through a high-power sub-ohm coil gives far too much nicotine and can feel harsh. For sub-ohm clouds, use a low-strength high-VG shortfill instead.

True 0mg nic salt is rare, since the whole point of a nic salt is smooth nicotine delivery. If you want a nicotine-free vape, a 0mg shortfill is the usual choice, and we also sell 5mg nic salts for anyone stepping down toward zero.

You can, but it is unusual. Nic salts are 50/50 for MTL pods while shortfills are high-VG for sub-ohm, so mixing the two changes the ratio and the throat hit. Most vapers add an unflavoured nic shot to a shortfill rather than a flavoured nic salt.
